The Space:

Escape to this stylish lodge, perfectly located just a short 5 minute drive from the stunning market town of Pickering. Spacious, comfortable, and elegantly designed, Fieldview Lodge is the ideal countryside getaway for couples, families, or friends looking to unwind in the North York Moors National Park.



Featuring two bedrooms, Fieldview Lodge can sleep a maximum of six guests. Located in the Ashdown Retreat private development, within Galtres Retreat Lodge Park, the lodge enjoys views over the park and woodland from its south-facing deck.



The cosy master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed and premium linens. With ample storage space and an ensuite shower room, it's the perfect place to relax and make yourself at home. Natural wood accents enhance the room’s calming charm.



The second bedroom boasts two luxurious single beds with crisp white linens, warm wood touches, and soft bedside lighting. The neutral decor and minimalist design create a serene atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful night's rest.



The spacious open plan living space exudes elegance with plush seating, including two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed for two additional guests, and traditional hung lighting. A large wood framed mirror above the fireplace adds a touch of sophistication, while the views out onto the private terrace and lodge park create a relaxing environment.



A smart TV in the lounge means you’ll never miss your favourite programme and a selection of family board games will help while away the evenings.



The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need to prepare a delicious meal, from cookware to cutlery. A dishwasher, washing machine, kitchen scales, wok and air fryer are all provided for added convenience.



You can enjoy al fresco meals on the large, decked area which has a comfortable suite of furniture, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of the day.

Guest Access:

Fieldview Lodge is a family-friendly property, ideally located at Galtres Retreat. Guests have access to the entire lodge, along with a large private deck complete with outdoor seating.



The keys to Fieldview Lodge are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in.



Private on-site parking for two vehicles is available just beside the lodge. Visitor parking is also available.



One small or medium-sized, well-behaved dog is welcome at the property.



Feel free to check in at your own leisure from 4pm and check out no later than 10am.



Please note for families with small children there is no high chair or cot bed at this property.

Fieldview Lodge is within easy reach of Castle Howard, Yorkshire Arboretum and York using the Park and Ride at Monks Cross.



A half-hour drive takes visitors to some of North Yorkshire’s stunning coastal towns, including Whitby and Scarborough, where sandy beaches, historic sites, and scenic cliff walks await.



The nearest train station to Pickering can be found in Malton where there are direct services operating to Scarborough and York.



Pickering Train Station is home to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Hop on board to visit the seaside town of Whitby, and the pretty villages of Goathland, Grosmont and Levisham.



A number of bus routes can be found operating in Pickering offering access to Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside, Leeds, Malton, Scarborough and York.
