Very pleased with the accommodations and my wife was so impressed because it was so clean and spotless. The location and access to the beach was wonderful. We really enjoyed the screened in porch. We would recommend the cottage to everyone.

We had a great week at 457 Vetch. The location was perfect - we love Oceanwoods and this house was very close to the beach and just across Eugenia from the boardwalk. The house was wonderful - extremely clean and very bright with a spacious and well equipped kitchen and a nice screen porch with a vaulted ceiling and skylight. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and bright. Check-in was easy - just wish we didn't have to wait in line at the Gate House to get our "parking" pass. The hosts were very communicative and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Cottage was terrific! Great location with easy walk to beach and quick bike ride to The Nest for coffee in the morning. Larry was a wonderful host. He communicated the check in process and provided some very good restaurant recommendations. The cottage is clean and well equipped with a well stocked kitchen and even beach chairs. We would definitely book this property again if we return to Kiawah. Thank you for the wonderful week!

Everything about this cottage is exceptional. It's within walking steps to a beautiful and charming part of the beach; and it's tucked in nicely to a cozy and quiet neighborhood. The cottage quickly becomes your home away from home - it's clean and has everything you need (awesome kitchen, great bedrooms, comfy couches, a screened-in porch, outdoor shower, and some beach gear too, among so much more). The hosts are a delight as well - very informative and communicative. A five star all around!

The property was great. We loved that the beach was in walking distance so that we could visit all times of the day. I loved watching the sea gulls, crabs and shrimpers going out. The screen porch was a favorite gathering place. It was the perfect place to get together with our children and grandchildren, one of whom lives outstate. The hosts were very gracious and accommodating. It was very convenient to have laundry available and not have to find a laundromat.

50 Steps Cottage is perfectly appointed with everything guests need to enjoy their time in Kiawah! We especially loved the screened-in porch, deck, and outdoor shower— and the location couldn’t be better! Bev and Larry’s communication and instructions made us feel right at home.

If I could give this cottage 15 stars, I would. I just love this place.This is our second time staying in this cottage and it felt like coming home as soon as we walked through the front door. Of all of the places we have stayed over the years, this cottage is by far the most comfortable place to stay on the island. No detail has been overlooked. It simply has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is close to everything.The cottage is very clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time on the screened porch eating, talking and playing games. The furnishings are very nice and comfortable. The appliances are good quality and perform well. The kitchen is well equipped and included everything we needed to make many meals during our stay.The owners were quick to respond to any questions. The pre-arrival instructions were very well laid out and sent in advance of leaving for our trip. The instructions left by the owners were very helpful for the operation of the TV's. Access to the beach is quick and easy. The Nest and Night Heron Park are a short walk or bike ride away. We are looking forward to our next trip to Kiawah in 2027. There's no place we'd rather be.

Another beautiful stay at this lovely home. The perfect place to get away from a Chicago Winter. The owners are wonderful and responsive. The house is a perfect place for a family reunion. We have been coming to Kiawah for ten years and this house went above and beyond every other place at which we stayed. The location is great, the house was spotless and stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture. My husband loved the recliners! Best part for me was the great selection of books, Í read four great ones while there. Truly a home away from home.

This is the first Vrbo stay we've had that has met my cleanliness standards. It's a beautiful little cottage, obviously well maintained and cared for. Hosts Bev and Larry were very responsive and helpful. Great location just a short walk from the beach. It was also nice to walk around the neighborhood with our kids. Easy access to bike trails too. A few minor critiques: fridge door kept sticking, dishwasher was a little tricky to get started a few times, would have liked more than two kitchen towels, and the King sized mattress could stand to be replaced. But, like I said, very very minor issues. We had a great stay and we felt clean and safe with our little family. Would love to come back again!
