Excellent location

Chania is a highly touristic area and this location sits on the edge of the congestion but is quiet and has a phenomenal view. The apartment is perfectly appointed and has everything you’d need for a home away from home. The host Katerina is gracious kind and responds quickly should you have any issues

Great location, view, and host

We slept well, which is the most important thing for us. I don't know if it would be different in summer, but during our stay in November, the soundproofing ensured that any noise from the nearby restaurants was no problem. We only heard occasional normal muffled sounds that you would expect from other apartments in the building. It was quiet all night. We didn't have a car, so it was great to be able to walk to everything in town. The view was at least as good as the photos showed, and the amenities (including wifi) all worked well. Check-in was easy, and the host was very friendly and helpful, with excellent communication. We would happily stay here again.

Orpheus House is not just a rental property it is a home that I have personally renovated and decorated with great care and love. Many of the artworks and vintage pieces you will see inside have been restored by me, as I truly enjoy bringing old objects back to life and giving them character and warmth.

My goal is simple: I want every guest to feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly at home. I live next door, so I am usually available if you need assistance, local recommendations, or help with anything during your stay while always respecting your privacy.

I believe that small details make a big difference, which is why I prepare a small welcome treat for every guest and make sure the apartment is equipped with everything you may need, whether you stay for a few days or longer.

Koum Kapi has a unique character. It is lively but not overwhelming, authentic yet convenient. It allows guests to experience everyday Cretan life while still being steps away from the most beautiful landmarks of the city.

For me, this area offers the best balance between relaxation and exploration and that is exactly what I want my guests to enjoy during their stay.

It has been carefully renovated and decorated with a blend of modern comfort and vintage details. Many of the artworks and antique pieces have been personally restored, giving the space warmth, authenticity, and a unique artistic identity.
