Be aware! Landlord-Manager is ill-disposed to customers
Payed in time the ordinary rent for 11 days, at the end the manager charged arbitrarily money from the deposit due to a supposedly missing towel and a broken toilet seat which was already broken upon our arrival. And there is nothing you can do against it!!!
The manager seems to be very friendly, as long as he is not sensing the opportunity for business:
He will recommend you via whats-app to use the covered parking for your car, although he is aware, that your car-finishing might be damaged due to a broken waterline dropping constantly water on one specific carpark. Asking for responsibilities leads to unessential discussions with references to the dishonorable contract you have signed with him.
At the end we (my spouse, our infant-boy and myself) had to bear the full cost of the damage and on top of it, the manager charged us for a supposingly vanished towel and for a broken toilet seat which was already there upon our arrival - we had photo evidences with a time stamp, neither the manager nor the home-away-agency were interested in that or helped us out.
It´s a pitty, because this spoiled a basically nice stay in St. Maarten, when arriving back home.
Further cons of the condo (the pro´s you´ll find in any other review):
1) floor was obviously not washed and therefore clean enough when arriving - 2) non functioning lights on the balcony during the whole stay - 3) instable w-lan-connection, which was not working at all on the last day of our stay - 4)
neighbours are first complaining because of noisiness at night (caused by our jet-lagged infant in the first night ) - but later during our stay we could also complain because of excessive noise nearby in the evening/at night (most probably caused from the same neighbours).
Be careful and indicate ANY damage/problem within 24hrs - the manager is quite creative in finding reasons to charge you for previous damages.
Travelling through dozens of countries on all continents for more than 20 years, I can tell that this manager is the most dishonorable landlord I´ve met so far!
