Tucked away in a fantastic, rural position this handsome five-bedroom residence enjoys far reaching views over its own lush Mediterranean gardens to the rolling hills of the Pollenca countryside and the Puig de Maria from each window, terrace and upstairs balcony.
Generous gardens and various terraces offer plenty of options for basking in the Mallorcan sunshine or retreating to a shady spot under towering palm trees to immerse oneself in a favourite book or simply just chill. The private swimming pool and expansive south-facing sun terrace provide a natural suntrap, capturing the sun for most of the day. Â A long, covered veranda at the front of the house is the perfect setting for dining alfresco with the choice of a brick-built or portable gas barbecue close at hand. There's plenty to keep younger ones entertained with table tennis, basketball hoop, pool table, a small play area with swings and slide and a choice of garden paths to follow, providing perfect run around space to explore within enclosed grounds plus the salt water pool with water feature naturally becomes the focal point be it day or night.
Inside, marble tiled floors, wood beamed ceilings and comfortable well-appointed niches feature warm tones, traditional tiling, and characterful furniture creating a charming home from home. It's location is just under 2km from the historic Roman town of Pollenca with atmospheric cobbled back streets and tempting array of highly regarded restaurants, tapas bars, cafes, shops and weekly Sunday market in the old quarters. Culture lovers will enjoy the varied calendar of social and cultural events taking place throughout the year including art exhibitions, local craft shows, re-enactments of historical events, exuberant fiestas and colourful processions. With a golf course a short drive away, plus the white sandy beaches of family friendly Port de Pollenca, everything you need for a leisurely holiday is at hand. Slightly further afield is the sleepy fishermanâs village of Cala San Vicente with three sandy bays plus the bustling coastal resort of Alcudia.
