Reise in die Vergangenheit und atmen Sie die AMBIANCEof indischen und westlichen Kulturen dieses Haus auf 5 privaten bewaldeten Morgen aber nur eine Meile von der Stadt Custer. Die Zeder Haus verfügt über Keramikfliesenböden im gesamten, Ledermöbel, neue Küchengeräte und vielen Fenstern.

Das Haupthaus ist für 2 im Schlafzimmer, 2 in der beigefügten "westlichen Raum '(von der Veranda zugegriffen wird) und 1 im großen Hauswirtschaftsraum. Die Gästequartier für 2 im Haupt Studio-Zimmer und 2 in dem kleinen Schlafzimmer.

Das Schlafzimmer ist in Aspen log mit einem Doppelbett und Master-Bad eingerichtet. Ein Hauswirtschaftsraum neben der Küche für 1 in einem Doppelbett w / Zugang zum Haupt Bad und einen eigenen Eingang. Die Veranda außerhalb des Hauswirtschaftsraum ermöglicht den Zugang zu den "westlichen Raum", die ein komplettes Bett mit schönen Felsen und Zeder Wände (westlichen Raum ist für warmes Wetter Monate). Wir haben auch ein Pak'n Spiel und eine Booster-Stuhl w / Fach. Guest Viertel ist Setup wie ein Studio-Apartment (minus einer Küche), aber mit einem Bad / Dusche. Der Hauptraum hat ein Queen-Size-Bett, Sofa, TV / SAT. Das zweite Zimmer ist mit einem Doppelbett über einen separaten Eingang und den Charakter einer Kabine Einstellung.

Es gibt 4 überdachte Veranden der Favorit und größte ist teilweise mit bequemen Korbmöbeln umgeben. Es ist ein beliebter Ort für den Morgenkaffee, Gewitter oder einem Cocktail am Abend zu beobachten. Von jedem Veranda können Sie die Aussicht, die Ruhe und die Tierwelt genießen. Entspannen Sie bei einer Familie grillen oder ein Spiel von Hufeisen auf der Wiese spielen.

Custer ist in einem Gebiet als das "Herz" der Hügel und lokalen Attraktionen bekannt sind Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Juwel und Wind-Höhlen, die malerische Needles Highway. Es ist auch 6 Meilen von Crazy Horse Mountain, mehrere Seen und etwa 45 Meilen von der historischen Ballast und dem Rapid City Flughafen. Dieses Gebiet zieht auch Motorradfahrer vor allem während der Sturgis Motorrad-Rallye. Wir begrüßen auch Jäger für Hirsche, Elche und der Türkei Saison. Im Herbst veranstaltet Custer State Park die berühmte Buffalo Roundup and Arts Festival.

Rooms were clean with plenty of cooking accessories. The room layout is a little different but worked well for us. Rock road was fine for motorcycles. And peaceful and quiet place to stay. Overall great experience. Only thing I would change is adding air conditioning. The temps get low at night, but takes a couple hours to cool down sometimes. They did provide fans which made a huge difference.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house had everything we needed and the location was great. We felt secluded yet so close to town. Our teenage boys enjoyed the back house. Very relaxing stay. Being from Florida my husband was skeptical of no AC but he loved having the doors open for a bit in the evening.

It was a beautiful place to stay and great location. It was very clean. The communication was absolutely outstanding! She had everything we needed. The check-in process was done with ease and easy checkout. The sleeping arrangements were a bit tough with seven people. Only one queen size bed and a hide a bed in the laundry room. We chose to use the couch instead for a bed. There is one room that you have to go outside to get into and it worked OK, but it was very very small so not a lot of room for any extra things besides your bodies in the room.All in all, it was a wonderful place to stay, but we would not do seven people in this Vrbo again

This was a lovely cabin, very well decorated, in a beautiful location, just outside of Custer, SD. The majority of our stay was very nice and the location was very convenient for us. Unfortunately, the last night we stayed, there was a storm which included a lightening strike nearby (possibly the transformer closest to the cabin) at about 11:00 p.m., which took the electricity out and, after a couple of hours of no electricity, the water stopped working as well. There were no instructions on how to deal with this and since it was so late, we didn't try to contact the owner. Unfortunately electricity and water were still out in the morning which made our departure much more complicated. I recommend that the owner include some instructions on what to do in this type of emergency, and a notation that the water will stop working if the electricity goes out. Some "what to do if..." instructions posted with the other Rules they posted would be very helpful for any future visitors.

Any guests should contact the owner for any/all emergencies so as to protect the property and themselves. Homes in the country run off wells which use electric pumps, therefore - no water. Once we were notified by guests of the outage we called the power company and service was restored an hour later.

Family Trip

Great cabin and location. Love the property with space for our 4 boys to roam. So convenient to run into Custer for supplies. Easy trips to Sylvan Lake, Stockade Lake for fishing. Would definitely stay again!

Cozy Retreat

The home itself is pretty clean but the owner should have a conversation with the cleaning people about cobwebs at eye level on several of the hanging lights. Also the owner needs to repair the very end of the driveway thats washed out on one side. It was not a good experience having the back of my brand new 24 ft trailer drag on the ground as we drove through it. In general the listing should advise that the driveway itself is not good for long trailers because of the spot at the beginning of the driveway thats washed out on one side and causes the tail of a longer trailer to drag on the ground as you pass over it. There is also a tight turn at the top that is pretty tight with a truck and 24 ft trailer. Turning around at the top is also a nightmare due to an old camper parked on one side and a pile of yard waste and tree limbs on the other. The bedroom connected to the porch on the house is creative but has not heat so became useless for us 2 of the 4 nights. I think the listing should be more detailed so people have a better idea if the place is a good fit for them. If your coming to UTV/ATV and have a large trailer, id say it is not. The washout caused damage to the tail of my brand new, trailer and a rock sticking up on the edge of the grass driveway behind the guest house cause damage to the front right corner as I maneuvered to be able to turn the rig around. Not a good overall experience.

Great Setting

This was a beautiful area. Saw deer in the yard every day. No air conditioning but didn't need it. The cabin was nice and cool. The guest cottage is a garage that was made into two bedrooms and a bathroom. The 2nd bedroom at the main house you have to go outside to use. It did smell musty. Those extra bedrooms could have used some kind of cooling unit. The cabin could have been cleaner....a lot of dead bugs and cobwebs. The towels all smelled dank and musty. Overall, it was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Thanks for your feedback. We don't provide air conditioning as it would spoil the pristine and quiet environment of the forest, we do provide several floor fans. The outside entrance to the "western room" is noted in the property and bedroom descriptions. The forest does produce many bugs and we do spray regularly, a few days between renters and cleaning can leave a few bugs present, this is just part of the environment. Our towels are regularly sanitized as the well water will leave a metallic smell to them perhaps someone left damp towels sitting in the dryer I will have house cleaning treat the towels. Thanks!

Location was great, Only one real bedroom in the main cabin. alleged second bedroom was in laundry room with a signal roll bed . Two of the three showers were so small you could not turn around in or bend over to was your feet. the guest quarters was not clean upon arrival dead bugs and dirt on the floor. trash in the can just outside the door. Of the Two beds one had a pad as a mattress. No frig or coffee makers in this building. again shower very small. we arrived at 4 pm as the maid was leaving and the floors in the main cabin were wet. The add states great for two families and a total of 7 people not sure where all seven would sleep, as the 4 of us had a problem. Would we rent again NO

Sounds like you didnt find the second bedroom off the main house, we provide 3 keys, one of them opens it. Its location is described in the description of the house. Every bed has a regular mattress on it so, no idea what your talking about in regards to just a pad on one of the beds. The roll away bed in the landry room is actually very comfy and its for squeezing in a 7th person. Many people have used it with no complaints including my 85 year old mother. Others have used it for small children who want to sleep closer to their parents. There are 2 coffee pots on the property one in the main house and one in the guest house. The refrigerator in guest quarters is being replaced, someone left it completly unusable. Potential guests should read the information provided on the website. This is a cabin with unusual layout but it is described well on vrbo. There are 5 beds 2 queens, 2 full size and the roll away. Not sure how this didnt work for a party of 4. I will talk to housekeeping about your concerns, normally they do good work.

Very Good!

We were well pleased with this home. The main living areas were welcoming and comfortable. The setting was beautiful with the pine trees right outside the windows and a small pond nearby. We could hear the ducks and geese each evening. It is a little way out of town and that was great for us. We felt as though we had our own private piece of the mountain yet it was only about 5 minutes to the grocery store in town. The sleeping arrangements are spread out so you don't feel as though you are all jammed together. We had three couple and two kids and we did well though I don't think more people would be comfortable. It was clean and well appointed. We really didn't require anything that was not on hand. We found a lot of wonderful things to do in the Black Hills and Custer was a reasonable central location to be based. I truly recommend exploring the beautiful Black Hills area and feel that this property is a good value.

Great accommodations! We took a family trip with 3 couples and a teenager and the layout worked very well for us in that each had their own space and bathrooms and the communal area was large enough for us to gather comfortably. The beds were all very comfortable. The showers were not great but I attributed that to the harshness of well water and for some, the actual size. I was worried about no air-conditioning but it really was not a problem at all. We parked 2 mid-size vehicles and a Wagoneer with ease with room for at least 2-3 more. The host was quick to respond to questions and has put a lot of thought and care into the accommodations.

The cabins were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being out of town a little bit to stargaze at night. Very easy to get to Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and other activities.

I fell in love with the Black Hills after several trips to the Sturgis motorcycle rallies. The hills and rock formation are beautiful, peaceful and scenic with lots of history. I love the small town slow pace.
