Zwei Jahre altes Mietshaus, nur 1,5 Meilen nördlich von Custer, etwa 0,5 Meilen von der Sylvan Lake Road (Highway 89) an der Elk Valley Road entfernt. Great place to stay in the Black Hills!

This house was so lovely! From relaxing on the back porch to playing games in the basement, we had a total blast! The house has all the amenities, is in a great location near Custer, and you can see local wildlife from the home! This home was above and beyond our expectations! We will definitely stay here again while visiting the area.

A great home away from home

The best VRBO I've ever stayed at!

The house is just gorgeous, and stocked with every kitchen item or forgotten toiletry you could need. The location for a Black Hills vacation is perfect, within easy distance of everything. Check-in was so easy. My family had a great time, and I'd snatch up this place again if we ever come back!

Classy in Custer

Thank you for such a wonderful stay. This house, the property and location were perfect for our family of four. The kids loved the game room and the outside play area. The kitchen was well-stocked, the living and dining room comfortable and the deck provided a nice hangout. The proximity to the City of Custer and Custer State Park was perfect. The overall location provided a nice basecamp for Black Hills activities. The kids are already asking to go back next summer! Thanks again for sharing your home.

Home Away From Home

This property had everything that is listed and more! Anything we could possibly want or need was provided and the house was tucked in a quiet neighborhood. It made coming home from the days’ activities relaxing for us parents and the foosball and air hockey tables were used every day by our 2 boys. Most nights we just picked up food and ate it on the deck because it was so beautiful and our family had so much fun playing the yard games. It was a great place to stay to check out all the sights of the Black Hills!

Best VRBO

We have stayed at many VRBOs and this was the cleanliest, the best stocked with essentials (hand soap, paper towels, ziplock bags, etc.) that we have EVER been to. The kitchen was fully stocked like someone lives there at all times. Stocked with spices, small appliances for your convenience too (our favorite was the waffle maker). They even have filtered water from a drinking water faucet (which is RARE), everything was labeled and organized. Not to mention the amazing chef's kitchen with high end appliances. We loved our stay and is the PERFECT location if you're looking to do any of the attractions around Custer. Thanks Stan and Shirley

Great Vacation Home

This house quickly feels like home and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need for meal preparation and more. The home is clean and includes many amenities. We enjoyed watching the deer and the turkeys roam across the yard. The location is perfect for enjoying the sites of the Black Hills. The patios are nicely furnished and give a great view of the wooded space around the home. We couldn’t use the patio however as often as we would have liked due to rain showers that moved through each day. The dining table is large and perfect for a family meal and a place to play games. There is no traffic noise, just the birds and the wind in the trees. A truly special place for great memories! Stan and Shirley are awesome hosts and provide very clear instructions on the use of the home.

The Burger's were the best host's and their property exceeded our expectations. They had almost every single accommodation we needed, except a bedroom fan which was immediately brought to the house upon asking Shirley if she had one. The location in custer was centrally located to so many great attractions and just a 5 minute drive to the downtown. The location was so peaceful and we saw a beautiful deer family right by the property everytime we drove back and forth. I would highly recommend this property!!!

We had an amazing stay! Our family of four loved sitting on the deck, watching the wild life, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and playing in the game room in the basement. Our stay in Custer SD

This property is as described by the owner and previous guests . The house is in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space between neighbors and is well maintained. We felt welcomed and comfortable. As previous guests stated, it is well stocked with plenty of bath towels and kitchen towels. Speaking of the kitchen, I've never stayed in a house stocked with everything you might need to prepare meals including foil, cling wrap, wax paper, zip lock bags and many spices. You'll feel like you're in your own home!It is very commendable of the hosts that they see to all the small details so that you don’t have to and can do what you are there for in the first place….Explore … Adventure…Have fun!The property location was perfect. We only needed short drives to get to Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave and even Devils Tower in Wyoming(only a 2-hour drive from Custer and is recommended if you have the time) . Also, the property is centrally located to many hiking trails in the area if this is something you like to do. Lynn's Dakota Mart was a short drive from the house, and they had everything we were looking for in the way of groceries. Custer also has plenty of choices for eating out if this is what you would prefer.We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Stay

We enjoyed staying at this property. The house was very clean and comfortable. The host has thought of everything you might need while staying there! Kitchen was well stocked w/ dishes and cooking supplies. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the wildlife. House was in a great location for exploring the Black Hills area! Good place for Black Hills vacation

My wife and I enjoyed the house immensely. We made good use of the kitchen and outdoor dining area, and thoroughly enjoyed watching the large flock of wild turkeys that often roamed through the yard and down to the neighbors pond.

We have always enjoyed vacationing in the Black Hills with our children over the years. As we near retirement we chose to build this home in the Custer area to be closer to our children and grandchildren who now live in Colorado.

We spent about 5 years searching for just the right place to build this home and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. It is close enough to Custer, Hill City & even Rapid City for all of our needs, and yet secluded enough to provide the peace and quiet that we long for as we near retirement.
