A gorgeously classic Parisian apartment awaits in one of the city’s most exclusive districts. This two-bedroom home is an ode to traditional French design sensibilities: high ceilings with intricate mouldings, ornate mirrors and beautifully panelled walls are all in attendance here. Situated in the heart of the 16th arrondissement, a short stroll one way will take you to the Seine, while the opposite direction will lead you to the leafy Bois de Boulogne.
LIVING & DINING AREA
Illuminated by the light streaming through three full-height windows bordered by rich red curtains, the soaring ceilings make this already spacious room feel positively vast. A plush sofa and matching armchair sit waiting for a weary traveller, and the large vintage mirror on the mantelpiece reflects the ample natural light in the room. Behind the sofa lies the large oval dining table, ready for a grand affair with room for six diners.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is a delightful mix of old and new: full of provincial charm with its panelled cabinets, timber countertops and traditional finishes, it’s also replete with modern appliances and furnishings, like the circular breakfast table basking in the sun from the luminous window nearby.
BEDROOMS
The principal bedroom highlights two of the home’s chief attributes superbly: the brightness, with light bathing the room from two large windows, and the atmosphere of originality – achieved here with the beautiful parquet flooring.
