The toilet would not flush for the entirety of the three nights we were there. We notified the company that manages the property the first night we were there. They proceeded to try and play tech support with us "make sure you hold the handle down all the way, UK toilets are different than US toilets". Trust me, we tried everything, the tank was filling fine, but the siphon mechanism was not pushing enough water into the bowl during flushes.So then the next morning around 10:30 am, they said they will send out a plumber and to leave the keys in the lockbox. Well, we had already left for the day at 8:00 am, assuming they had a spare set of keys for maintenance. They said, ok, no problem, we'll get the spare to the plumber. We get back that night, toilets still broke. Managing company said the plumber came, but couldn't get in because we didn't leave the key in the lockbox.Cool, we'll leave the key in the lockbox on day 3. We get home from all our days activities that night and again, toilets still broke. I message the managing company again, asking when the plumber is coming (doesn't matter anymore, we have to check out in the morning) and no response (they advertise 24/7 chat response). Anyways, during this whole time, my wife is distressed, because where are you supposed to go to the bathroom at in the middle of the night in this area? We couldn't find anywhere open outside of pubs. You can feel every spring in the full mattress, so my wife slept on the twin mattress.
