A very brief getaway
An important part of staying in a city, is being able to have secure parking. There is such car park just down the street from the apartment. In fact, you can see the sign for it from out the living room windows. We are an older couple with slight mobility issues, so being a second floor flat was a bit challenging, but worth it.The apartment was very clean and well maintained, and beautifully and artistically decorated. The instructions on finding it were excellent too. As I'd been somewhat under the weather for the past week, we only ate out once, at a pleasant brasserie about a 5 minute walk away. The owner of the apartment had recommended another restaurant where we'd intended going, but got lost so chose the other one. I have recommended this holiday let to our daughters, as it's very central with plenty of life and interesting shops and cafes. Do stay for longer than 2 nights though!
