Very nice, comfortable condo. My family of four had a relaxing week here. I would definitely purchase the pool passes, we used the pools every day. The fitness centers are quite small, but the grounds, location and quietness of the area made up for it.

Great Brewster Property

Place was clean and in a wonderful location. We loved how kid friendly it was as they had plastic cups. The bedroom air conditioners were hugely helpful as it was in the 90s during our stay and kept the sleeping areas comfortable.

Perfect location and comforts of home

Great location- close to the arbor pool, Fletcher pool, tennis and exercise facilities. Condo was well stocked with linens provided! I am buying the towels I loved them so much. We will definitely book this place again!!

Great spot on the Cape!

This was our best trip yet! The location was perfect. Staying at the condo allowed access to beaches and resort amenities which we enjoyed daily. The condo was fully stocked with supplies, beach toys, and anything you could ask for to feel right at home. Hope to be back next summer. Thank you!!

Great Family Rental

This is a great property if you are coming to Cape Cod with children. They had a closet filled with beach stuff (including boogie boards and sand toys), coloring supplies, a Wii, and more. The unit was fully stocked with extra towels, blankets, cleaning supplies, etc. My family and I had a great time vacationing here! I highly recommend this unit.

My happy place

This is our second year in this condo and my family loves it! Ocean edge is great my 2 & 4 year old love to swim, so it’s perfect! The condo is even better than last year, thanks to the addition of blackout curtains in each bedroom..the kids didn’t get up with the sun. It’s well equipped with everything you could possibly need for the pool, beach, and life with small children! We definitely plan on making it 3 years in a row for next year!

Home away from home!!

This was our first vacation with our two children, ages 2 & 4, and it was perfect! The condo is in a perfect location, in close proximity to the two pools we used daily! The condo was well equipped with all the toddler essentials, which saved us space in our car. We utilized the stroller, pack n play, booster seat, and side bed rails! We plan on making this location a new yearly summer tradition! Owner was quick to respond as well! My only request would be dark shades in the bedrooms....when the sun is up...my kids are up!! Ocean edge is an amazing, well kept resort. My husband was fascinated with all the groundskeepers! Very friendly staff...you really never need to leave the campus! Brewster is a great location, quick day trips to p-town, Chatham, orleans!

2nd Stay

This was our second time staying here. We had a rocky start to our trip, but the owners were quick to react and make us whole. Basically the cleaners forgot to clean before we arrived which was a total surprise to both us and the owners. Without asking, the owners did the right thing and got us a night at the mansion. I do believe it totally wasn’t the owners fault that the cleaners didn’t come. Other than the cleaning mishap, the place was great and we enjoyed our stay. Always lots to do mid-cape. Easy access to Nickerson state park (less than a mile if you know the shortcut through the property). We always get pool passes and bring bikes. Very convenient location. 3 room ac’s keep the place pretty cool as well.

Disappointed

Entering the condo you got a strong smell of mildew or mold. We were not in the unit often because my daughter has a place by the beach so we left at 9 in the morning and did not return until night time. We did what the unit owner asked and did not leave the A/C ruining which did not help the smell. I believe the smell was in the carpet. The sliding glass door was very hard to open plus there was no lock on the back door leading to the deck. The sheets in the master bedroom had a stain on them which I would think the cleaning people would have noticed. When we got there I follow the directions to check in and no one seem to know what I should do. I was send to the Tavern and they said they did not do check in. Could not get a parking pass. We were luck we had our daughters beach to use. The A/C units in the bedroom were very loud, we could not sleep with them on.

Dear Michael, We are very sorry to hear of your discontent. It is unfortunate that you did not contact us immediately upon arrival or during your stay as we do have resources that could have helped. We have a very helpful cleaner, handyman, and family that could have stopped by and we have an abundance of additional bedding and towels on site that could have been immediately provided. The suggestion to leave the air conditioners off during the day is only from a waste perspective. Usually when visiting The Cape, people are away most of the day, and it could be viewed by some as wasteful to run them all day, without anyone in the unit. It is just a suggestion, but by all means if the renter chooses, they can run the air-conditioners as much as they wish. The air conditioning is left on by the cleaners for arriving guests. Everyone evaluates their own circumstances. This also could have been resolved had you contacted us with your displeasure of the situation. Being part of a resort comes with some factors external to us. The check in situation is in flux. It has only recently changed and we sincerely apologize that you experienced the awkwardness of transition. The beach parking passes became available only online starting June 1, 2022. This is new to all of us, and we could have helped if you had contacted us. Although we are disappointed that you did not contact us so that we could help immediately with most everything that was troubling you, we are glad you had some alternatives that allowed you to still enjoy the pleasures of The Cape. If you find yourself in another rental situation in the future that is causing you discontent, please consider contacting the owner immediately and give them a chance to help.

excellent stay

Condo was as described. We had family members staying in other condo's and we had by far the best experience. The cape was in the middle of a heat wave and it was really nice that the three air conditioners were on when we arrived. Check-in was easy since it was an electronic lock; i.e. didn't need to drive somewhere to get a key. Linens were included and already on all the beds. There were even extra lines for the air mattress. We also had plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. There are coolers, chairs and towels for the beach. We've stayed at Ocean Edge before so we were already famaliar with the location. There are two pools on the premises. And, you can bike to Crosby beach on the bay side pretty easiily, although I'd recommend going during high tide if your plan is to swim. Nickerson State Park and it's kettle ponds are also within biking distance. Overall it's a great place in a conveinent location. I would highly recommend.

Resort stay vacation rental

The condo is clean and in a nice location in Ocean Edge. The owner provides all the comforts of home including soaps, detergents, sheets and towels. I will return.

Family Friendly and Convenient

This second floor condo is located in a beautiful golf course community, with access to two outdoor pools, one indoor pool, tennis and pickle ball courts and much more. The condo was comfortable and clean, a perfect place to stay for a week with our two teenaged grandsons.

The Cooper family consists of Pippa (13), Freya (9), Wendi and Brian. Wendi and Brian met in the sixth grade and married 28 years later on the Cape. Wendi and Brian were both born in Rochester NY, lived in Chicago and England after college and currently reside in Stamford, Connecticut. The family spends as much time on the Cape and at Ocean Edge as possible, in our opinion there is no grater facility on Cape Cod for family vacations. We have been fortunate; we have had over 100 great renters, many who have stayed for multiple consecutive summers. Since this is our second home we are constantly upgrading and re-furnishing the unit. We have tried to stock the unit with everything possible, including kids stuff, so you don’t need to pack the car to the roof . If there is something you need from an iron & ironing board to a tea kettle we have tried to provide it. If we don't have it, it can usually be arranged.
