Thank you for your great review and feedback during your stay! We are so pleased that you enjoyed the property and location and would consider returning and we will be replacing items that are needed in the kitchen to help with food preparation.

We are very sorry to learn that there were aspects of the property that did not meet your expectations and happy that you enjoyed your overall stay in Pollensa. Unfortunately, we received only one message from you during the second week of your stay, and the points that you mention here (except for relating a damp smell) were not raised. We would have really appreciated to hear from you at the start your stay, if there were any repairs that needed carrying out. For example, the umbrella, could have been replaced the same day. Unfortunately, on the day of your message we were experiencing high levels of humidity in Puerto Pollensa and our property manager offered you an immediate solution. Every room in the property has a dehumidifier function on the air conditioning units. We find this helps a great deal during humid times and we are sorry you did not find this too. The modern units have been checked and are in very good working order for both the cool air and as de-humidifiers. As you mention at the start of your review, the position and view are stunning and for this reason we do not feel that it is appropriate to add screening which would limit this view. We do have bushes and plants at both sides of the garden which provide ample privacy from the neighbours. We really appreciate your feedback and will strive to make improvements for future guests.
