Welcoming dog friendly Apartment - The Old School House
This former school house has been renovated into a lovely light and bright Cotswold holiday apartment which sleeps two guests, in a welcoming mezzanine style bedroom, with ensuite bathroom. Laid out over two floors, there is a sociable open plan living area with ample seating and a well-equipped kitchen. The original stone mullion windows are a striking feature which flood both floors with natural light throughout the day. The Old School House is centrally located boasting both the Cotswold countryside and the bustling market town of Stow-on-the-Wold within easy reach. This combination of features makes for a wonderful getaway and even welcomes one dog!
Accommodation
This one bedroom holiday cottage in Stow-on-the-Wold is perfectly suited for a solo traveller or couple looking to explore the local countryside and eateries. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

Statement double height windows, two-seater sofa, armchair, Smart TV and dining table seating four
Kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster and kettle

Master bedroom with ensuite (Sleeps 2)
Mezzanine overlooking the ground floor, king size bed, built-in cupboard, armchair, chest of drawers, mirror and stool
Ensuite with bath with handheld shower attachment, loo, basin and heated towel rail (due to low ceilings above the bath and lack of screen/curtain, it is not suitable for showering)

The maximum occupancy for this property is 2Ā guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infantĀ (aged 2 or under)

1 travel cot is available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates
