Casa Corte del Limone

Casa La Corte del Limone is a charming house located in Castro, one of the most renowned coastal localities of Salento, in the higher part of town, a few minutes from the sea. With two double bedrooms, its polished Mediterranean décor, and the little courtyard with a mini pool and a solarium area, it is the ideal accommodation for couples and small families alike, wishing to spend their holiday in a quiet and typical setting but with the convenience of having any service right at hand.

Accessing the house, a corridor with a built-in stone sofa makes way, on the right, to the first double bedroom, with en-suite shower room, which overlooks the street through a French door; going back and on straight ahead, one then finds the spacious kitchen, separated from the living and dining area by an open arch. From this space, another short corridor leads to the second shower room, and then, descending a couple of steps, to the second double bedroom which overlooks the lovely courtyard.

The latter is accessible both through a French window in the kitchen, and through a sliding door in the second corridor. It comprises a pleasant relax and conversation area, provided with a table and other outdoor seats; and another area featuring an amazing mini pool and, down some steps, a solarium area (on gravel) with sun-beds under the shade of some nice fig and orange trees. Such a charming setting for a quiet Italian aperitivo at sunset!

Important information
The weekly price includes: the first supply of bed/bath linen; water and electricity consumption (up to a maximum consumption of 150 kWh - any excess is charged to the guest at a cost of € 0.50 per kWh); cleaning and maintenance of the pool on Saturdays. Not included and to be paid at check-in: the cost of final cleaning which amounts to € 150.00. Security deposit, € 500.00. Pets not allowed. No smoking inside.

Sea: Castro Marina by car or motorbike is 5 minutes away (2,3 km); 500 m by foot from the ramparts to the sea, following an ancient footpath through the buildings. In Castro Marina there are coves with turquoise water and flat rocks allowing easy access to the sea. There are seaside resorts. At the dock it is possible to rent out boats for excursions along the coast.
