This flat is located in the centre of the pearl of the Itria Valley, Ostuni, known to the world as the White City. Its blindingly white, immense historic centre culminates in the Cathedral that impetuously dominates the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Its alleyways, the Piazza della Libertà and the column of S. Oronzo that majestically protects the town are characteristic. Its countryside extends into the heart of the Valle d'Itria. A few kilometres away is Ceglie Messapica, a centre of tradition and enogastronomy, Cisternino, a village recognised as one of the most beautiful in Italy, Alberobello whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Egnazia Archaeological Park, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic centre and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while moving south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi and finally Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westwards there is Taranto, the heart of Magna Graecia and finally Matera, characteristic for its Sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.
Brindisi and Bari airports are respectively 35 and 80 minutes away by car.
