Perched on the hillside above Positano, Casa Laura is perfectly located for exploring one of the Amalfi Coast’s best-loved towns. Gaze out from the terrace over the pastel-hued houses that climb the hillside, and across to the glittering water. Positano’s main beach is just 10 minutes away on foot, and all the main amenities of the town, including restaurants, shops and travel connections, are close by.



A flight of 42 steps leads from the road to the villa and directly onto the terrace. Whilst exclusive to Casa Laura, the terrace is also used by the people on the top floor of the house (private accommodation) to access their property. The terrace has wonderful sea views and is furnished with a table and chairs for alfresco dining, and a bench.



Extending over 123m², the villa is equipped with air conditioning and welcome extras such as mosquito nets in the bedroom. On the lower level, a living/dining room provides sofa seating, a dining table for six and a large-screen TV. From here, an archway leads into a well-equipped kitchen, with plenty of storage space and everything you need to prepare a delicious Italian lunch!

• Explore the towns along the Amalfi Coast, including Amalfi (17km) and Sorrento (18km).

• Charter a boat to explore the coastline from the water or hop over to Capri for lunch.

• Head up to hilltop Ravello (23km) to visit the exquisite gardens at Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone.

• Hop on the Circumvesuviana train in Sorrento and step back in time as you explore the Roman ruins of Pompeii (37km).

Need-to-know



• The villa offers guests all the benefits and freedom of self-catering but is just a short stroll from a large selection of lively restaurants and bars in Positano town.

• Positano is one of the most popular towns on the Amalfi Coast and gets very busy between June and August. The town is beautiful during the months of April and May, when the spring flowers are in bloom, and in September and October, when temperatures are cooler and you can explore at leisure.

• A flight of 42 steps leads from the main road to the entrance to the villa – there’s no alternative access.

• Whilst the terrace is exclusive to Casa Laura, residents of the building’s top floor do need to cross the terrace to reach their property.
