Der Eingang ist nur 13 Stufen von der Hauptstraße entfernt, dann führt Sie eine schöne graue Steintreppe ins Haus.

Das Hotel liegt in einer der landschaftlich schönsten Gebiete von Positano, zu Fuß in der Fußgängerzone, von der Villa Sostella können Sie easly erreichen die Big Beach und den Pier (Fähre nach Capri und Amalfi) oder den schönen Strand Fornillo.

Die Lage - Positano Center:
Villa Sostella ist in Herzen von Positano, zwischen den Stränden und dem Eingang der Stadt von Positano, die es ermöglichen, entweder man entweder zu Fuß oder mit dem lokalen Bus zu erreichen, der 30 Meter von unserem Haus hält.

Nächster - alles zu Fuß erreichbar:
Sie können die Bushaltestelle zu Fuß 30 Meter vom Haus zu erreichen, und Sie können Ihr Auto 100 Meter entfernt in einem Pay-Parkplatz parken. Sie können in der Nähe von Geschäften in 150 Meter zu erreichen; vier Lebensmittelgeschäfte von 150 bis 300 m; 8 Restaurants von 30 bis 300 m; Wäscherei, Zeitungen, Friseur auf 50 Meter; Café-Bar in 50 Meter.

Strände- Fuß erreichbar:
können Sie bequem die Pier und die Strände erreichen durch eine Fußgänger Verknüpfung oder zu Fuß durch die alten Treppenhäuser von Positano, die "scalinatelle '(kleine Straßen, bestehend aus schmalen Treppen und Stufen) absteigend. Das ist etwas nicht entgehen lassen! Wenn Sie die Stufen hinabsteigen und an den meistbesuchten Orten vorbeikommen, entdecken Sie die bezaubernden Winkel von Positano. Sobald Sie alle kleinen Straßen zu Fuß besucht haben, können Sie immer mit dem örtlichen Shuttlebus zurückfahren.

We loved our stay! Sabrina made everything super easy. It's on a slightly quieter stretch of the main street in Positano, but still super walkable to everything. Rooms are small but comfortable, was fine for 6 adults. And the terrace and views were unbeatable!

Our family of five enjoyed a fantastic four days in Positano at this wonderful villa. Wonderful villa in Positano

I just returned from 6 nights at this villa in Positano, celebrating birthdays with four other high school friends. This is a wonderful property! Room enough for all 5 of us and located within walking distance of at least 7 or more excellent restaurants. Slightly away from the hustle of “downtown “ Positano, but within easy reach. Gaetano and family could not have been more helpful to us! The balcony overlooking the sea was our home away from home! Thanks, Gaetano!

This is a great property!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with this property- first of all the hosts are extremely responsive and made every effort to assist us with every question. The location is absolutely stunning and, unlike many Positano homes, only a few steps from the road, mid- city. It’s an easy walk to shopping, restaurants, and the beach with a small grocery only a few minutes walk up the road. Our terrace was heaven with gorgeous views. The house was super clean, with lots of treats to make the stay more comfortable. We would very happily return!

Property was clean, kitchen was well stocked with coffee, snacks, creamer, jams, nutella. Gaetano was a terrific host and guide, he took wonderful care of us and the villa. We had everything we needed. Each room had an ensuite bathroom with shower; washer, dryer in the unit, closet space, outdoor terrace was lovely, view magnificent. Barbara cleaned and gave us fresh towels. The 6 of us had a lovely time. We would not hesitate to recommend this Villa. Gaetano and his family are gracious, thoughtful, respectful and kind. Small Bedrooms

When Researching accommodations in Positano we required a minimum of 3 bedrooms with in suite bathrooms. In reviewing Villa Misastilla via VRBO description & photos it appeared we had found the perfect place. Upon arrival we found four bedrooms as advertised but shocked in room size. Two bedrooms were adequate but small the two remaining bedrooms were so small one of our couples had to split up with each occupying a separate bedroom. If you consider renting this rental, you better be a family with small children.

Sorry Dan but it's well described on our VRBO page. There are 4 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms, living room and kitchen with patio, terrace with sea view. There is also the description of each room, a triple room with Queen bed + single bed, a Queen double bedroom, a double room with a French bed and a single room, there are also the size of the beds. You need to be extra careful when making a reservation. However, you could have told me when you arrived. Gaetano I am very disappointed, you broke the American coffee machine in the kitchen without telling us, guests who came after you complained it didn't work. However, I want to inform you that, we have never charged our guests anything.

Fabulous week in Positano!!

Our week-long stay at this VRBO was the highlight of our trip to Italy. The unit was large enough to fit 6 adults comfortably and the outside terrace gave us additional space to relax. The view from the outside seating area was unbeatable! The unit was clean and stocked with coffee and snacks so we didn't have to immediately find a grocery store. The location was great for shopping, restaurants and access to both beaches. Gaetano and his staff were very helpful and accommodating - he organized transfer to/from Naples and Rome, recommended a fabulous charter boat company for our tour of Capri, and helped us decide the best way to visit Amalfi and Ravello for the day. If we are ever lucky enough to get back to the Amalfi coast, we will definitely stay here again.

Spectacular Terrace View in Positano

The house was simply furnished and as expected 3 flights of stairs to reach our level. A bit difficult with luggage but not unexpected. Each room had an ensuite bath. The 2 larger bedrooms in back were a bit humid. Not sure if humidifier working well in one. The front bedrooms are smaller and thus airier. We were happy to have the use of the washer, located in one of the smaller bedrooms bath, and dryer on porch. We were hanging laundry to dry both outside and inside but humidity made use of the dryer a necessity at times. The weather was lovely, some clouds and rain but refreshing. Gaetano’s grandaughter Sabrina greeted us and helped us get organized. They had also left breakfast snacks and milk in refrigerator. Great coffee maker with coffee provided. Having a cappuccino or wine on the terrace was the highlight of our day staying here. I loved the location and highly recommend this comfortable place especially families who can navigate the stairs well. Great restaurants nearby that you can walk to.

Wonderful Welcoming Home in Positano

I thank my lucky stars I found this property & booked it well in advance for our week in Positano in July 2023. It was our favorite rental from our trip to Italy and I would love to stay there again someday. The pluses are many: Host Gaetano is the best. He had stocked the kitchen with milk, butter, bfast foods, pasta & sauce, tea, coffee, sugar, espresso - it was fantastic to be all set with those items immediately. He also provided several plug adapters, beach towels, shower products, plenty of towels, etc. He lives upstairs and is responsive when you need him but not in your space at all. He's a lovely man and I really appreciate the care he takes to ensure guests have everything they need. He's also more laid back about everything compared to other owners I've rented from. There's no giant list of rules and requirements. The property was perfect for us, a family of 4 - husband & I, our 2 adult sons as well as close friends (married couple). Having 4 bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom, was terrific. The living room is comfy and homey as is the kitchen. The outside space and the view are the real showstoppers here. We started and ended every day there. The huge umbrella provides nice shade at those times so you can enjoy your morning coffee, evening cocktails, etc. The location is great - near a lot but up out of the packed tourist crowds. We had an amazing week - can't recommend it enough.

A wonderful start to our family vacation with an added attraction

The location in Positano is beautiful and close to market places and shops. Upon arrival, Gaetano greeted us and provided helpful information including how to get to places to dine in or buy food for a family of six. We bought local food and wine, and cooked most of our meals from the well equipped kitchen. The table on the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean was a favorite for eating and enjoying a relaxing afternoon or evening. There was enough space inside for our late night card games or watching TV. Gaetano recommended a cooking class from Chef Antonio and his team. The chef came to the villa and taught us how to make traditional Italian dishes. We laughed, drank wine, told stories and shared in a meal we created together. It was so much fun and we felt like we learned something new! Our stay in Positano was lovely and the accommodations were perfect for our family. There was ample space for all of us and everything we needed and more was there. Each couple having a bathroom to themselves is definitely a plus . Added touches that made this place special were things like a kind and attentive host close by, a great set up for coffee in the morning with some breakfast items available on the first morning of our stay, umbrellas, and a washer and dryer so that we were ready for the next leg of our trip. We wanted to start our time in Italy in a relaxing, beautiful setting that allowed our family some time to get caught up and enjoy each other before heading off to Naples and Rome. Gaetano's place allowed for us to do just that. We loved it! Our future son in law found Positano the perfect spot to ask our daughter to be his wife. She said "yes!" :-). For this reason and for so many more, this will always be a special place for us.

Lovely view

Property spacious for 6 people. Host was very helpful when we were planning our excursions. Provided breakfast foods which were wonderful.

Are stay was great, the views from the balcony were spectacular, wish it was closer to the beach.

Everything was great, everyone had there own bathroom and shower, there was restaurants and shopping fairly close, there is a bus stop close by. Only wish the beach was closer and have good walking shoes

Family vacation

Gataeno was great his insight to the location was spot on. The beach he recommended was awesome, not too crowded and clean. He recommended a wonderful vineyard tour Tenuto. And had great connections with local driver services.

Wonderful stay in Positano!!

Four ladies stayed at the villa, and we had a wonderful time. The villa had everything we needed. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom. I can't express how beautiful the view from the terrace is! It was such a treat to relax on the terrace after a busy day. The view of the cliffs and the water with the boats below is amazing. Gaetano was so helpful. He provided us with a map and detailed information on nearby stores and beaches. I would highly recommend this propety.

Wonderful stay on Positano

Gaetano was a perfect host. His villa was lovely and we couldn’t have asked for more. He gave excellent recommendations and helped is with any questions. The villa was spacious, immaculate and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The views from the terrace were gorgeous. The location was excellent and located near many shops and restaurants. Be sure to make reservations at restaurants during busy season. The villa had 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and a very large terrace. Would highly recommend!
