At the expense of sounding like the spoiled American, I want to clarify a few things about the listing…The location is great. It’s easy to walk everywhere. You are directly across from a 12th century church which is cool but you will hear church bells. The bells did not chime from 2100-0800 however. The apartment is on the fifth floor. The stairs are narrow If you have a lot of luggage or large bags, you may have difficulty. There is no elevator. The listing mentions laundry, which is accurate. However it is a very small washer with, I would guess, about a 1.5 gallon capacity. There are no laundry supplies in the apartment that we could find. There is a coin laundry nearby but they don’t sell detergent. We could not find any detergent at any of the local markets either. There is no dryer. Just lay your wet clothes scattered about the apartment and open the windows. The apartment is in the square so it can be quite noisy. The weather was nice so we opened up the place to let it air out, but I can tell you the trash pickup is promptly at 3:15 every morning. There was no blanket or bedspread on either bed. We found a couple blankets hidden away in a closet behind the couch cushion covers which, oddly, were not on the couch cushions themselves. We were supplied two towels total for drying off after showering. No extras could be found anywhere. And for the Americans out there, no washcloths either. I do understand that’s not customary in Europe.
