Romantisches Cottage mit Charme im historischen Dorf am Comer See

Dieses Haus wurde vor wenigen Jahren gebaut, mit Original-Stein aus den Ruinen eines alten Gebäudes. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Der Garten im Erdgeschoss ist ideal für Erholung und Entspannung. Zwei lange Liegestühle mit gepolsterten Kissen sind vorhanden. Im ersten Stock liegt der Wohnbereich mit Steinfliesenboden und Holzbalken. Im Wohnbereich befindet sich eine gemütliche Sitzecke mit gepolsterter Sitzbank (die als Bett für 1 Person vergrößert werden kann) und eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Edelstahl-Theke & 4 Höckern. Davor liegt eine große Terrasse. Ein Terrassentisch kann auf der Terrasse aufgestellt werden. Der zweite Stock hat Holzböden, Holzbalken eine schräge Decke und eine große Fenster front geht auf eine nette kleine Terrasse hinaus. Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Queen-Size-Bett und ein Bad mit Bidet und Dusche. Die Mailänder Flughäfen sind beide 40 Minuten entfernt. Es liegt in der Nähe von Laglio (George Clooneys Villa) und Cernobbio, mit seinen feinen Restaurants. Bootstouren halten an den weltberühmten Villen und ihren botanischen Gärten.Tagesausflüge nach Como und Mailand mit ihrer Kunst und Kultur, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Designer-Outlets, Seidentücher und Krawatten) sind ein Muss.

We absolutely LOVED this cottage on the lake. The view is incredible and the location can't be beat. You definitely need a car to get around - but there's many good restaurants, bars, hikes etc within close driving distance. Great relaxing getaway, we will be back!

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint cottage with the smell of wisteria from the front porch, the scenic lake view, and the sounds of birds and church bells in the morning. You can tell the home has been lovingly maintained by Lilia and her family for many years. We found it to be an ideal launching point to explore the surrounding areas while having a peaceful calm village to return to in the evening away from the hustle and crowds. The stairs are no joke and took some getting used to for us flatlanders; we would definitely not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. Lilia was very attentive, kind, and an absolute joy to communicate with! For those who are interested- I Giardini di Villa Melzi botanical garden in Bellagio was one of the most beautiful gardens we have ever visited. We highly recommend a visit for garden lovers in the Spring.

Yes, we do put a lot of love into this place, which my mom and I are so fond of. I always make a point of letting people know about the stairs in advance, they are no joke as you say, but most people with no mobility issues forget all about them once they get up there and see the view. It's the price to pay for such beauty. Glad it didn't deter you! You were a most kind and understanding guest, and we really appreciated the cool photo you sent us of a fire salamander you discovered while exploring the Lake area. Villa Melzi is a dream, and spring is such a perfect time to be in Brienno. Come back soon!

What a beautiful property for out romantic getaway. Absolutely loved sitting in the yard reading my book while listening to the church bells. Our host was wonderful in communicating restaurant ideas and other needs. Be mindful of the 88 stairs to the property however we loved getting the exercise after a big Italian meal!

Our stay was lovely! Hosts were great and extremely responsive and helpful. The views were awesome. If you're accustomed to driving on tiny roads, having a rental car would be perfect as groceries and food options are generally in other towns. There are a few hiking trails in Brienno that take you through the old part of the town with deteriorating buildings which was very cool to see. Great place to stay!

Incredible in every way!

Host provides perfectly detailed instructions to get to the house. Without them it would be pretty tricky to find but well worth the steps! The house is supplied with everything travelers need in Como. The house is perfect for able bodied and couples visiting Como.

Lilia and Carmen were extremely responsive, the place was private and had the most amazing views. It was in close proximity to Como and other small towns around the lake. I am Lilia, the owner. I now live in Manhattan, but I was born and raised in beautiful , romantic Como.
I want you to know that cottage was a labor of love.
My Mom found the property while hiking on the Lake, and it was just a ruin, with the single most magnificent view she had ever seen.
My Dad and I, an couple of years later, designed every inch of a dream cottage we had in mind. Within a year, it was built. We followed the process day and night throughout. For several years we spent week-ends and holidays there. I actually lived there full time for one full year in 2003.
