This stunning Georgian style Old Rectory is set on the edge of the village of Maidford in a classic English 5 acre garden. Adjacent to the house there is a games room with a ping pong table and pool table with a darts board.

The house is available for rental as a whole where you can enjoy complete privacy. There are 6 bedrooms and the house sleeps up to 12 people. There are 2 single Jaybee beds that can be added to certain rooms if people do not want to share beds and a very comfy double sofa bed in a little sitting room. Minimum two night bookings.

A swimming pool area is opposite the house with sunbeds and cushions for lazing by the heated pool. There is outside seating by the pool. There is a medieval pond with a mini pontoon at the bottom of the garden and the view from the house looks over the Ha Ha into the paddock with chestnut trees.

This was the perfect stay for a large group of friends (plus baby), with plenty of space and welcoming hosts. Sarah was very helpful before we arrived and gave us a very thorough tour to help us settle in. Everything was clean and the kitchen well stocked. We definitely would stay again!

Our visit was exceptional. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house overall is full of character. The pool area was a wonderful addition and enjoyed by all. I would highly recommend this property.

Fun family getaway!

We had an amazing 3 days/2 nights away at The Old Rectory which was perfectly facilitated by Sarah and her fantastic property. There was plenty of space to do whatever we wanted - swim in the pool, play table tennis in the games room, play boules and walk the dogs in the grounds, have nice dinners in the kitchen and dining room and play games in one of the three lounges. Everything that we could have possibly needed was provided and helped to contribute to a very enjoyable stay. Thank you Sarah for being a great host and letting us stay in your lovely home! Highly recommend!

We had an utterly fabulous stay at the Old Rectory. We stayed with family over our wedding weekend and it made for a really special weekend with family in a gorgeous setting making lots of fabulous memories.Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah and Kim, and we were really encouraged to make ourselves at home and to enjoy the house as own own.The house was very well stocked with everything we could need or think of. A chef came in to cook a nice lunch for us and the kitchen was brilliantly equipped and dining room beautifully laid.All in all we had a brilliant weekend and would not hesitate to recommend the Old Rectory to others.

Amazing venue

We stayed over the Christmas period with all of the family and the house was just perfect. Sarah and Kim were there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. The house was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. The house had everything we needed, a formal room where we could all be together and also lots of cosy snugs. The grounds were also well kept and we enjoyed walking around the garden. Would highly recommend the house to anybody wishing to find somewhere for a large group in a character property.

Our house is family and pet friendly and there is a lovely pool to chill around with a BBQ and seating outside. The games room is relaxed and has a ping pong table and a variety of games that can be played inside or outside.

We are offering you a little bit of paradise here for you to create your own special memories with. There are roaring fires to sit by in the winter and snuggle up with a book under a throw. The large roll top bath sits in the middle of the room and you can gaze out on the garden. Equally there is a very powerful new shower for the quick in and out!

We have wonderful walks to local pubs serving yummy food and a good pint, golf courses that are within 10 minutes and Silverstone is also 10 minutes away for the car enthusiasts. Bicester village and Soho Farm house are 40 minutes drive.

We really are the perfect venue to get away with your friends or family and leave all your troubles behind as you settle into relaxing in the Northamptonshire environment.

For those that require technology we have super fast broadband and also Sky Q and Netflix.

We have had locations for shoots in the house and also model shoots in the garden as the atmosphere is simply lovely. Come and see for yourselves.

The house is very friendly and has a relaxed modern and antique vibe.
