Conveniently located just 2km from and within the rural environs of the sleepy market town of São Brás de Alportel, Villa Ana sits snugly into a hillside with views across rolling hills peppered with olive groves and elegant cypresses.
Outside, time worn craftsmanship such as Portuguese calçada pavement and Santa Caterina terracotta tiling combine with an unfussy and contemporary interior, while clever use of the hillside has created several sun exposed terraces; the lower terrace featuring an invitingly bright blue tiled swimming pool while above, an ample sunny terrace provides a perfect space from which to enjoy a post lunch siesta.

Inside, doors lead from the entrance hall into a colourfully furnished open plan living and dining area, wrapped around a feature fireplace leading to a fully fitted kitchen with further doors onto an outdoor dining area. A utility room provides space for laundry facilities, while four well-proportioned bedrooms, two with en suite bathrooms, together with a separate shower room, comprise the sleeping accommodation.

A short walk (2km) brings guests to the centre of São Brás de Alportel, home to a thriving cork industry, and providing all amenities including a colourful morning market and an array of excellent restaurants. A winding drive through the foothills of the Serra de Caldeirão leads to the charming river side town of Tavira (27km) boasting an 11km golden sandy island beach, historical monuments, handsome architecture and almost unlimited supply of cafes, bars and tempting restaurants. In the opposite direction, prosperous Loulé (12km), sits proudly above the coastal plain and is the place to be on Saturdays for its bustling market. Faro airport is 21km.

Steps in the garden and some unprotected drops means the villa is not suitable for those with limited mobility and younger children will need supervision.
