Well-presented cottage in a great location.

Driftwood offers a home from home stay in a great location. Craster has a good range of facilities including a great pub restaurant. And to cap it all the coastal walks are magnificent in both directions.

High Quality Craster Cottage

Driftwood was the perfect base for exploring the Northumberland coast with our dog. Even in August we were away from any crowds and had easy access to great walks and fabulous pub food. The cottage, its furnishing and equipment are all high quality - probably the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. Could have spent hours just on the window seat! We are already looking at coming back.

Perfect location

Absolutely top notch cottage, our second time with catch the breeze as we love their style and the little extras that make it a special holiday. It was wonderful to arrive and sit in the garden looking at the harbour and the sea enjoying the fresh bread and jam from the welcome pack. The cottage itself is fab, kitchen very well equipped. We enjoyed the walk to Dunstanburgh castle many times, and also caught the bus from just outside to do a linear walk back up the coast from Alnmouth.

Perfect!

A glorious two week stay with super weather. A comfortable, well equipped cottage to come back to after days spent in a wonderful county. Sitting out front watching the world go by is the best experience. The customer service was top class too - thanks to Claire, and Sam.

Home from Home in a lovely Craster Cottage

Great stay

Great stay at Driftwood. A well appointed, beautifully furnished, comfortable property. Super clean and everything that you could need has been thought of including a lovely welcome basket. The wood burner really came into its own when it snowed!

Wonderful cottage

Wonderful holiday cottage. So cosy, clean and tastefully decorated. We’ve had a brilliant week and the cottage was a fabulous last minute find. Good base to do plenty of dog walks and explore Northumberland. The Jolly Fisherman is a brilliant pub/restaurant which we have enjoyed several times and would highly recommend.

Another wonderful, relaxing stay

This is our second time staying at Driftwood. We love everything about the cottage. It’s the perfect place to stay in Craster and we feel immediately at home the minute we arrive. So cozy, clean and perfectly equipped with beautiful decor.

A wonderful experience.

On arrival it was very nice to enter in to the cottage and have a very generous, comfortable living space. Everything was well set up for living, relaxing and feeling special. Practicalities very well thought through and the furnishings were lovely, comfortable and of good quality. We very much appreciated the quality of furnishings. Generous and well laid out making everything very easy to enjoy the holiday. The bedrooms and bathrooms had everything that you needed and were very clean and comfortable. nice to have both bath and shower. The outside space was very inviting and much used and the window seating area put you inside out. The information folder was clear, concise and relevant. A wonderful experience leaving you wanting to return.

Amazing retreat at Craster

This is our 4th visit to a Catch the Breeze property in Craster Driftwood was just as amazing as the others and we had a wonderful week Long walks alone the costal path and beaches Lovely scenery the highlight perhaps was the Artic Tern nesting ground near Beadnell Amazing week thanks to Catch the Breeze again

A Lovely Cottage in a Great Location

We had a great break in Driftwood and were returning guest after a previous lovely holiday in this property. The cottage is beautifully decorated and equipped with high quality fixtures and fittings. There are walks from the door, a lovely pub in the village. The history and heritage of the area are fascinating and Catch the Breeze staff are thoughtful and helpful.
