Hochwertiges Steinhaus im Zentrum von Alnwick, ideal für Paare und kleine Familien. Das Haus verfügt über einen herrlichen Patio-Garten, der an die ursprünglichen Stadtmauern anknüpft. Wir sind bemüht, Ihnen einen komfortablen und erholsamen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Puddleduck Cottage hat alle lokalen Annehmlichkeiten in der Nähe. Dazu gehört das Alnwick Playhouse. Die berühmten Barter Books (einer der größten Antiquariate des Landes, der sich am faszinierenden alten Bahnhof befindet) sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt und eignen sich hervorragend, um ein paar Stunden lang zu lesen und eine Tasse Tee und Kuchen zu genießen ein offenes Feuer. Das Ferienhaus liegt zwischen der Heritage Coast und den Cheviot Hills. Alnwick Castle and Gardens sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Das Baumhaus-Restaurant in Alnwick Gardens ist sehr zu empfehlen (muss für den Abend gebucht werden). Kostenloses WLAN ist im Preis inbegriffen. Haustiere werden nicht akzeptiert. Hübsches Cottage in hübscher Stadt

Ein sehr schönes Cottage, fast direkt im Zentrum von Alnwick (fußläufig zu Burg, Gardens, Hauptstraße) gelegen. Stilvolle und trotzdem nutzbare Einrichtung, insbesondere überkomplett ausgestattete Küche. Ein Goodie-Korb und ein erster Pint Milch im Kühlschrank waren sehr willkommen.

Comfortable. homely, relaxing stay at Puddleduck Cottage

We loved the cottage - immaculately clean and comfortable with a neat backyard we sat in when sunny. And just round the corner from the shops and places to eat. Also within easy walking distance of Alnwick Castle and Gardens and within a short driving distance of the coast. it was ideal for us.

Perfectly situated in Alnwick

Cute little terraced cottage, immaculately clean and with a thoughtful gift of wine and biscuits. The small kitchen makes the best of an awkward layout. A few suggestions - a small double bed instead of a single in the smaller bedroom, an upgraded bathroom esp. the shower and recycling instructions.

This cottage fits the image generated by its name. Comfortable, clean and nestled into the old walls of the town adjacent to the old bar entrance to the town Modern appliances are efficient and plentiful. Loved our stay!!!!

Four day break

Ideal spot to visit Alnwick and surrounds. Three good restaurants within 100yards also pub very close. Although no parking at door, we had no problems with free parking within 100 yards. Cottage had everything we needed and comfy beds.

Perfect location - 10 mins either way and you have everything you'll need Bathroom has bath and shower. A must for me The cottage had little touches like DVDs, games, charging points for phones/tablets The owner was very reachable Information pack was useful Infact couldn't fault anything about it

Beautiful cottage and so handy for town centre. Tried most of pubs, warm welcome everywhere. Lots of homely touches to make it special, pictures, ducks, cosy throws, comfy bed. Even in early March, ok now and again to sit in outside courtyard area, well looked after property. Loved our 3 days, will come back soon. Xxx

Beautiful cottage in Alnwick

The cottage is lovely. It was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. There was a generosity about the place - from the welcome basket to the basics left in the kitchen (tea, coffee, salt and pepper, washing up liquid etc). It is a few minutes from everything - playhouse, castle and gardens, restaurants. Best restaurant for us was Lilburns in Alnwick- book as soon as you can.

Lovely stay In Puddleduck Cottage

A fully equipped lovely cottage with a super comfortable bed and a pretty cute outdoor patio area.. We had a lovely stay in this perfectly positioned cottage with nearby free parking A most useful Welcome Pack on arrival with the essentials ::-) The cottage is close to the road so there is some traffic noise at times but that's what we were expecting. We would happily stay here again - Thank you

Puddleduck Stay

We really liked the cottage and the way we could just walk into town. It was a perfect spot for access to the wedding we attended in Alnwick Gardens. We found the beds comfortable and the house was spotless. We would love to return again one day.

Nice terraced house

Good location in the centre of Alnwick, however quite noisy as all the buses and trucks avoiding the narrow archway down the road come past. Street parking fine just up the road by the Tanner's Arms. Could have been cleaner e.g. kitchen and bathroom not spotless on arrival

Gorgeous cottage

Very well equipped little cottage. Fantastic location, just a short walk away from: - Alnwick's main attractions, including Alnwick Castle and Barter Books - Swansfield playground - various supermarkets, including Lidl - the bus stop (we caught a bus to Alnmouth - only a 10 minute ride away) - long stay car parks (although be warned that these get busy, but we found unrestricted parking on nearby Lisburn Street) All in all, a fabulous stay!

Great location in Alnwick

We were delighted with our choice of property. It was full of character, clean, comfortable and had a well kitted out kitchen. The patio area is very private and we ate a few breakfasts outside. Car parking was very easy as we managed to park for free in the street opposite most of the time. There is also a free public car park just around the corner. The location of the cottage is perfect with the Market Square, foodie pubs, Alnwick Castle, The Alnwick Garden and the Playhouse just a quick walk away. Alnwick itself is well situated for quick access to both the coastal towns and the National Park. We had a great stay and highly recommend.

Alnwick break

The property had all you could reasonably want for a short stay in Alnwick. It is exactly as described online- close to all amenities in the town and a 10 minute drive from several wonderful Northumberland beaches.

We are a couple who live in Leeds,West yorkshire with 2 grown up boys. We first visited Alnwick in 2010 and fell in love with the area and the very friendly people. Our favourite places to visit are the many beaches. castles and gardens, Alnwick, Holy Island, Craster, Alnmouth. Dunstanborough, There are plenty of lovely little shops, restaurants real ale pubs and cosy coffee shops in the surrounding towns and villages..

The cottage is central in Alnwick with lots of cafe's and restaurants nearby and plenty of shops and places to visit. We try to keep Puddleduck cottage cosy and welcoming for our guests to enjoy. We also have a great cleaner called Joyce who lives just round the corner from the cottage.
