Schooner Court No2 is below Schooner Court No1. Both properties can be rented together, sleeping 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. This would suit families or friends wishing to holiday together.


There are building works taking place opposite Schooner Court 1 and 2. The work is nearing completion, but it is anticipated that there will be some activity on the site through April and May, possibly with some final internal work in the summer. Neither the owners of Schooner Court 1 and 2 or Northumbria Coast & Country Cottages have any control over the neighbouring works and it may be that no disturbance at all is caused throughout your holiday but at some time during the midweek (work is not permitted at the weekend) there may be some activity.

The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick.
