We loved everything about our stay. The Hosts are wonderful people who gave us great recommendations on restaurants and were so accommodating. The court yard is beautiful with a fountain and you can hear church bells in the distance. It is a quiet and serene apartment in a busy city. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in Florence.

Home away from Home

Just the perfect home for our 3 week stay in Florence. Amazing hosts, super clean apartment, gorgeous garden and prefect location. Everything we needed was available and whilst we didn't need to, our hosts were always available to help with any questions we might have had. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Florence.

Great Place

A great spot in the heart of Florence complete with fabulous hosts who welcomed, saw us off and tended to our needs. Minutes from the market and down the street from la farmacia and Carefor. The garden was a quiet respite from the busy streets a few minutes away. When we come back to Florence, we will be sure to stay here again.

Wonderful Apartment in Florence

My husband and I stayed a week in this lovely apartment. Located on the ground floor and at the back of the building, this apartment is quiet and convenient. The rooms are large and the kitchen is well stocked. Its an easy walk to the Mercato Centrale and all sites in Florence. This aparment opens onto a beautiful garden perfect for breakfast and happy hour. The real bonus is the hosts, Sergio and Patrizia. They could not have been any nicer or more helpful and we enjoyed chatting with them. The kindest hosts we have ever had. You will not be disappointed in this apartment.

Home away from home

We loved our hosts, the property, the neighbordood, and everything about Florence. Our hosts were so lovely - they welcomed us, were responsive to a couple initial requests we had, and also gave us a warm send-off. The air conditioning was great, with units in the common space and bedroom. The bed was really comfortable. As Americans, we were especially happy to have a small coffee maker! We like espresso, but are used to starting our day with a bigger cup. We didn't get to take advantage of the beautiful backyard because of the heat wave, but it looked perfect for a quiet breakfast or glass of wine. The washing machine and ample outdoor drying space was super helpful since we packed light and were in Italy for 10 days. Grazie mille, Patricia and Sergio!

Feels like home

The pictures on the site and reviews from previous guests are 100 percent accurate. It’s centrally located, walking distance to everywhere. Sergio is always available but Marcella, his mother in law who live in the building is the show stealer. She is truly the best. If our family goes back to Florence, we will definitely stay in this property again.

Exceeds Expectations

My husband and stayed at the Leonardo for 4 weeks in April and couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation. Excellent location, walking distance to everything including the train station. Beautiful home and garden to return to at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. The apartment was clean and contained everything you could possibly need for your stay.The host and hostess, Sergio and Patrizia, were lovely to deal with, always available to anything you may need. Amazing

We were created by Sergio and Patricia, the owners of the property who are absolutely delightful and accommodating. Do you know it was more than I expected it was lovely, pleasant bright, air-conditioned I can’t say more the pictures don’t do it justice. The outdoor space was very pleasant to sit and have your morning coffee with two coffee shops on either end of the block. Centrally located to everything it’s a must stay. I have already recommended it to many of my friends.

Lovely, quiet apartment off the beaten path

Sergio's apartment was a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of the historic center of Florence. The inner courtyard garden made for a bucolic sitting area, and the apartment was clean and well appointed. it's not necessarily designed for hanging out in all day, as the rooms are small, but for the 2 of us, who were out and about, it was perfect.The only minor nit is that when booking, VRBO made it appear that we were much closer to San Lorenzo market. Turns out, it's a 5-6 minute walk north. Not necessarily a bad thing if you want to escape the tourist hordes, but a more accurate location description would have been helpful. Sergio was very helpful with suggestions and responsive by Whatsapp text. Highly recommended.

The best kept secret in Florence

I have just stayed nearly a month in Florence studying. I wanted something that celebrated the beauty of this Tuscan city, quiet, homely with all the conveniences of making the stay enjoyable. Highest rating we’ve ever given! 10/10

First of all, we can confirm all of the details in the previous reviews-this place is perfect from the ironed sheets to the ideal location for visiting Florence. The garden is a romantic retreat, the area is safe, and location is central to all of the things that we wanted to see in Florence. What is completely underrated even though discussed in other reviews is the grace and engaging nature of our hosts. Sergio and his younger wife Patrizia were the most wonderful team that we have ever encountered. Going well beyond what we normally expect, they were crucial in their recommendations to make our extended stay perfect in every way, treating us more like family than tenants. This is the most charming and elegant refuge that we have ever stayed at. We hope to one day return. We give this apartment our highest rating and recommendation!

Beautiful Apartment in a Beautiful City

We can't say enough about how happy we were to spend one month in Sergio's family home. The apartment was immaculate, roomy and well laid out, opening to a beautiful garden, both quiet and peaceful. It was situated well within the city of Florence not a very far walk from the history and museums . It was also located convenient to the Mercato Centrale. Sergio was most helpful but his Mother in law, Marcella is a sweet and caring person. She gave a feeling of "coming home". We really understand why Rick Steve's rated his stay here so highly. We strongly recommend it!

Beautiful Apartment with a Fantastic Location in Central Florence

The apartment was very clean and offered all the conveniences for a weeklong stay. The train station is only a 10 minute walk which was great for our day trips. The Mercado Centrale is 5 minutes away, there are many coffee shops and restaurants and convenience stores 5-10 minutes walk. We walked around the north side of the Arno River each day and two days we walked over the bridges to the south side of the Arno also, about 20 minutes. Sergio is a wonderful host, provided excellent and timely communication. We give Sergio and his wife our most enthusiastic recommendation and will definitely plan to stay here again when we return to Florence.

Charming Apartment w/ Garden

We absolutely loved this apartment which helped make for a wonderful visit to Florence. The apartment itself is lovely and well-appointed with high ceilings, nice kitchen and appliances, comfortable bed, and a walk-out to a peaceful garden with fountain that was perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The hosts Sergio and Patrizia were attentive and a joy to talk with during our stay. The check-in process was easy as Sergio provided advanced instructions and met us at the apartment and walked us through. The building and apartment is very safe with multiple doors and locks. There are two other apartments that share the garden but we had complete privacy and never saw the other tenants. We loved the apartment and highly recommend it to others visiting Florence.

Tranquil Oasis in the heart of Firenze

What a delightful surprise. Located not far from the train station and Piazza San Marco, yet quiet as a whisper. Patrizia and Sergio are the stars of this little paradise, so warm, thoughtful and knowledgeable. Extremely warm hospitality and available at the drop of a hat for any assistance you may need or want. Classic Florentine ambience. You feel as though you are staying with a family friend, because once you have you will become one! Garden access, nice kitchen, dreamy comfortable bed and linens, and the Mercato Centrale a 5 minute stroll down the way. Fellow travelers I met have been staying there for years and it's easy to see why. So easy to feel as though you have a home away from home whenever you visit this timeless, enchanting city. A fabulous stay in Florence

The apartment is perfectly located on a quiet street close to everything in Florence. During our stay, we walked to all our destinations for visiting. It is also fifteen minutes from the Santa Maria Novella train station. The apartment is really quiet and comfortable, beautifully maintained with air conditioning, an efficient renovated kitchen and a beautiful bathroom. The owner was there to welcome us and give us all the necessary information to enjoy our stay. You will also meet Marcella the loveliest Florentine you can find. The apartment opens on your private terrace in a really beautiful garden where you can enjoy breakfast or have dinner or simply enjoy the sight. It is the perfect home to enjoy a Florence holiday. We highly recommend it and certainly will go back when we return to Florence.

best stay ever!

Sergio met us at the front door and showed us the beautiful apartment. Everything we could possibly need for our two week stay was provided. The kitchen had all the dishes and cooking implements I needed. The shower is the largest I've ever used in Europe. The garden was so pretty, I would love to see it in the summer. The location of the apartment was excellent for siteseeing. We took a cab to and from the train station with our luggage but it was an easy walk. We took the train to Lucca and the bus to Siena and Fiesole, the bus station is next to the train. It was also an easy walk to all of the main sites, to a different route every.time to see something new every time! Marcella was a.lovely woman who did everything she could to make our stay perfect. The washing machine was just down the hall and a drying rack was provided. There are several grocery stores in the area, small local marts as well as 3 or 4 Conad. I highly recommend this stay. We were very comfortable and it felt like our own home.

Hidden Garden

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for two weeks! Sergio and Patrizia are great hosts, prompt in communication prior to arrival and very attentive upon arrival. The apartment is charming, clean and well-kept. It is on the ground floor. The garden is beautiful and so quiet and peaceful in a very busy city -- includes fruit trees and even an olive tree. Even during the summer, when temperatures can be very high in Florence, it is still enjoyable during the morning and evening hours. Great shower and comfortable bed. Everything in the kitchen that you need and several grocery stores nearby. Spacious refrigerator -- and ice trays in the freezer! Great seating area in the living room. Piazza San Marco, just a few minutes away (3 blocks) has some of the best quick eateries in town (Pugi and All' Antico Vinaio). Any of these 3 blocks are great to wonder down toward the Duomo. The Accademia (David Statue) is nearby, as well as the central market (shopping market outside, and inside, a food market downstairs and food court upstairs). Florence is a completely walkable city, and no matter where you stay, you will be close to some sites and further from others. There doesn't seem to be a central location. An additional bonus for the location of this apartment, though, is that it is close to the train station, making day trips and overall arrival to and departure from Florence simpler. Would stay here again.

Charming apartment, charming Marcella

Wir waren im Juni 8 Tage im Apartment "Leonardo", in dem sich alles auf einer Ebene befindet, was sehr angenehm ist, wenn man schon Ă€lter und leicht gehbehindert ist. Ebenfalls angenehm: die Klimaanlage - bei tĂ€glich 30 - 35 ° Außentemperatur. Alles, was auf diesen Seiten bereits an Positivem geschrieben wurde, könnte ich nur wiederholen. Und das TĂŒpfelchen auf dem i war die ĂŒberaus liebenswĂŒrdige Marcella. Diese Unterkunft war mit das Beste unseres Florenz-Aufenthalts. Wir können sie uneingeschrĂ€nkt empfehlen. We recommend the Leonardo-Apartment without ifs and buts.

Eine wunderbare Zeit im Zentrum von Florenz!

Wir haben unsere eine Woche in diesem Apartment sehr genossen. Betreut von unglaublich freundlichen und liebevollen Vermietern, die stets ansprechbar und hilfsbereit waren, konnten wir uns an diesem Ort vom dem Trubel in der Stadt wunderbar erholen. WĂ€hrend vor der HaustĂŒr noch der typische innerstĂ€dtische Verkehr entlangfĂŒhrt, ist im Apartment und insbesondere im wundervollen Garten davon rein gar nichts mehr zu hören. Man wĂ€hnt sich fast auf dem Land. Wer möchte, kann in der vollstĂ€ndig ausgestatteten KĂŒche die Produkte aus dem nahe gelegenen Zentralmarkt als Selbstversorger verarbeiten. FĂŒr Restauranttipps stehen die Vermieter jederzeit zur VerfĂŒgung - wir haben ganz in der NĂ€he fußlĂ€ufig ein pittoreskes vegetarisches Restaurant gefunden, dass wir noch sehr empfehlen möchten: http://il-vegetariano.it Wir freuen uns schon auf ein Wiedersehen! Gorgeous apartment, top located - Tolle Unterkunft in Traumlage mit sehr herzlichen Vermietern

It was the first time that we rented an apartment, so we were very curious how it will be. Our expectations have been fully met. So, we are looking forward to our next trip to Casa Rabatti and Sergio, Patrizia & Marcella. Apartment: The apartment has a very nice interior and has everything you need for everyday use. The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday needs (kitchen utensils, crockery, large refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle etc.). State: Everything is well maintained and there was nothing to complain about; the owner himself is maintaining the apartments and the garden. Location: Top located, apartment is located on the VIA SAN ZANOBI, about 5min to main station, 2 min to Mercato Centrale, 8 km to the airport, about 10 minutes from Piazza del Duomo; A special highlight is the garden + terrace. The apartment is quiet and does not catch the noise of traffic. Host: The house is managed by the owners. The couple Sergio & Patrizia and her mother Marcella "Mama Marcella" are very warm and helpful people. We felt like in a very pleasant family environment. They were unobtrusive and always approachable. They have very good restaurants recommendations, which are also very fair in price. We are looking forward to being back in "Casa Rabatti" with Sergio, Patrizia & Mama Marcella next year and can warmly recommend this fantastic location to you. +++German Abstract+++ Wir haben das erste Mal eine Ferien-Apartment angemietet, deshalb waren wir entsprechend neugierig wie es sein wird. Unsere Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches ĂŒbertroffen. Einrichtung: Das Apartment ist sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet und verfĂŒgt ĂŒber alles, was man fĂŒr den alltĂ€glichen Gebrauch benötigt. Die KĂŒche ist voll ausgestattet mit allem was man fĂŒr den alltĂ€glichen Bedarf benötigt (KĂŒchenutensilien, Geschirr, großer KĂŒhlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, etc.). Zustand: Alles ist sehr gepflegt und es gab nichts zu beanstanden; die Vermieter kĂŒmmern sich persönlich um die Apartments und den Garten. Das Haus wird von den EigentĂŒmern betreut. Sie sind sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Menschen. Wir haben uns in einer sehr angenehmen familiĂ€ren Umgebung gefĂŒhlt. Sie waren in keinster Weise aufdringlich und jederzeit ansprechbar. Sie haben sehr gute Tipps fĂŒr Restaurants, die auch sehr fair im Preis sind. Wir freuen uns schon auf nĂ€chstes Jahr "Casa Rabatti" bei Sergio , Patrizia & Mama Marcella und gebe unsere Empfehlung weiter. A & E aus Frankfurt
