Great Stay

Apartment was great, great location, everything went great. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights, only thing that would of been nice was more than one towel for each of us. Three people and only 4 towels for 5 days.

Excellent appartment

We absolutely loved it. A delight to come back to at the end of a long day. The layout for 2 friends was perfect, but will work for families and two couples as well. Quality furniture, beds, bedding, kitchenware, showers etc. Nice workable elevator, metro close by with connections to all of Barcelona. Just one thing to keep in mind: one bathroom is considerably smaller than the other and you may want to flip a coin.

Great spot

Clean, great set up, cool patio, easy access to rooftop view of Sagrada Familia, modern. Location is good. Close to the basilica and not too far from the metro.

The Catalan spirit is alive and well in Barcelona

We had a fantastic stay at Hernan's apartment in Barcelona. From the moment we arrived—later than expected—Hernan made sure to personally greet us and get us settled in. Throughout our stay, he was incredibly responsive and accommodating whenever we needed assistance. His hospitality made our trip even more enjoyable.The apartment is in a perfect location—centrally situated and within easy walking distance to everything you might need. Public transportation, grocery stores, restaurants, markets, shopping centers, and tourist spots are all close by. One of the highlights was being just a short walk from the iconic Sagrada Familia.Barcelona itself is such a warm and vibrant city, and staying in this area really allowed us to soak up the culture. It was a great trip all around, and we’re grateful for Hernan and his daughter’s kindness and attentiveness. Highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting the city!

Bad issue with sewer gas

Big problem with sewer gas backup. Due to the awful and sickening gas one bathroom and one bedroom were unusable. The toxic gas was really bad. We had to leave the windows open all the time or we would have been sick.

Great stay, very good apartment

We really enjoyed our time in Barcelona especially because our stay at the apartment was extremely comfortable. We could easily stay another week and be completely comfortable. The check in was easy and quick. The apartment was clean and worked out for my hahaha and our 1 yr old daughter who slept in the other room. Both rooms had comfortable beds with blackout curtains. Location was in a nice neighborhood with a market, cafe and park all near by.. great for couples or small family.

Nice flat, nice location

Very easy check in, good communication, nice clean flat. 7th floor with a lift for two people so may be an issue depending on who you travel with. There was no soap nor shampoo when we arrived but the manager was very nice and brought some for us. Very conveniently located otherwise with plenty of places where to eat nearby, the Sagrada Familia 200m away and the tube close by as well. There is a cute patio outdoor too which is a great plus. Thanks for the stay!

An excellent stay

The apartment was lovely and clean. The host family was extremely accommodating even when our flights were pushed and led to delays. They were extremely responsive and helpful and did not mind going over details as needed. The apartment itself has every need met. It was clean and fully functional. Fifth floor was optimal for reducing the sounds of the city below and the shared rooftop was a great way to wind down at the end of our days. Many thanks to the Huerta family

lovely and comfortable

The apartment was perfect for our family of 3. The private outdoor sitting area was a nice bonus. Views of the Sagrada Family from the small balconies and the rooftop were great. The location is a few blocks from the Basilica but far enough away that there aren’t swarms of people when you step outside. Park Güell is a 1.5 mile walk as is Plaza Catalunya. Many good food options in the area, and near the metro. The apartment felt spacious and it was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped making it easy to cook if you chose to but no condiments nor teas or coffees. You would need to get all your food supplies at the corner supermarket. Bathrooms had soap and shampoo. We loved that the apartment was on the top floor. While on a busy street the apartment is quiet when windows are closed and the air conditioner is on. We would stay here again. Hernan was a great host and responsive to all my questions.

Apartment near Sagrada Familia

The apartment is very nice and good location close to Sagrada Familia. Top floor with elevator makes for convenient access. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the unit which is nice for quiet and privacy. Also has access to a great view from the roof. However, for the price of the rental the host could have added a few touches to make for a nicer stay. When we were there one of the bathroom doors was broken and the exterior door to the patio was very hard to open/close to the point you had to kick it open and slam it with all your force to get it to lock. There is a nespresso maker in the unit, but there was no coffee provided. There are towels but no wash cloths. There were no extra trash bags in the unit. These are small touches that go a long way if you are staying somewhere for more than a 1-2 nights. Overall we had a great stay, but a little more communication from the host about what is provided or not ahead of time as well as instructions about the unit in writing would have been helpful.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich perfekt. Sieht alles genau aus wie auf den Bildern. Ausreichend Platz für 4 Personen. Schön geräumig und gut geschnitten. Sehr netter Gastgeber. Lage ist ebenfalls sehr zentral! Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen !

Passamos muito bem os dias em Barcelona no apartamento do Hernan. O apartamento esta reformado e estava tudo muito limpo. A cozinha e equipada, o armário do quarto pratico e a roupa de cama e banho boas. O wi-fi funcionou bem. Tudo em ordem. Ficaria novamente.

Great experience

This property is good in all ways - Extremely clean, decorated with modern touch, amazing location, good amount of space and natural light.Our host was waiting to welcome us personally. This is something we rarely see. We really appreciate the gesture.We had access to the roof and a covered patio. The place is within walking distance to Sagrada Familia and multiple groceries nearby.If we visit Barcelona again, we will try to look for this place again. Overall, we highly recommend this place to other travellers.All these being said, one small information may be helpful to others. The electric circuit seems to be designed in a way to trip/break when there is little more than moderate load. It just takes a press of a button to bring back the power but it is bit of an inconvenience if it happens at night. If the owner can fix this issue, it will be perfect.

schöne und gut gelegene Unterkunft

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, die Betten bequem. Das zweite Badezimmer ist sehr klein. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen tollen Blick. Den Verkehrslärm hört man schon bis ganz oben in der Wohnung, aber mit geschlossenen Fenstern kein Problem. Über die Klimaanlage kann ich nichts sagen, da wir diese im Herbst nicht benutzt haben. Die Lage fanden wir super, da die Wohnung in der Nähe der Sagrada Familia liegt. Dort gibt es eine große Restaurantauswahl und zwei Metrolinien fahren von dort, so dass man überall gut hinkommt.
