The terrace runs across the front of the apartment and looks over the complex gardens and pool with a slight sea view. There is a dining table for six and a small separate lounge seating area, with full overhead cover providing some shade throughout the day.

Location — San Pedro Beach and Promenade
The apartment is in the Castiglione complex in Nueva Alcántara, the beachside neighbourhood of San Pedro de Alcántara. San Pedro beach is about 200 metres away, a short walk through the complex and across the road. The beach is wide and generally uncrowded. The sand is darker and slightly coarse, typical of this stretch of the Costa del Sol, and in some areas the shoreline can be slightly stony when entering the water, so aqua shoes can be useful. The seafront promenade runs for several kilometres and connects directly to Puerto Banús to the east. It is lined with beach restaurants (chiringuitos), cafés, cycle lanes and playgrounds. Walking there takes around 40–45 minutes.

San Pedro is quieter than Puerto Banús and is a proper Spanish town with a year-round community, where people live and work as well as visit. Restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance of the complex.
This location offers easy access to the wider Costa del Sol without being in the middle of the busier areas. The setting lends itself to a simple day-to-day routine centred around the beach, promenade and terrace.

The Complex
Castiglione is one of the original beachside developments in Nueva Alcantara, well-established and generally quiet. The low-rise, whitewashed buildings are designed in a traditional Andalusian style and set within mature tropical gardens. The buildings are low-rise and there are no lifts. The apartment is on the first floor. If mobility is a consideration for anyone in your group, it is something to bear in mind before booking. The apartments are a mix of holiday homes and permanent residences, giving it a neighbourhood feel rather than a resort feel. The beach, the promenade and the nearest restaurants and cafes are all a short walk away. Castiglione is a no-party urbanisation. Guests are asked to be considerate of neighbours with regard to noise.
Pool Season: The pool is open all year around. Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty.

Couples and small families who want a beach base where the car stays parked. The position means most of what guests need is on foot: beach, promenade, restaurants, supermarket. Every thing was really amazing.

Felt at home right away!
Gardens were beautiful and right by the front so very easy to find a restaurantgo for a walk. Vilma met us close to midnight and made sure she ran through everything in the apartment! Perfect thanks again

We had a wonderful week at San Pedro Alcantara.
The place was very close to the beach and also with nice walking distance to many restaurants and Puerto Banus. The residential area was clean and during the time of our stay (October) also peaceful during evenings. The apartment had good facilities kitchen was very well equiped and spacious living room, balcony/terrace and master bedroom made our stay very nice. Colleen was actively in touch pre- and during our stay, which was very helpful!

Just perfect!
Everything was perfect. The apartment is fully equipped with high-quality amenities. The air conditioning worked well, as did the shower, bath, etc. It's also within walking distance of the beach and restaurants.
