Set on the raised ground floor level, this comfortable apartment comprises a spacious open plan eat-in kitchen and living space, two bedrooms with UK 5ft wide king-size beds, and two bathrooms (one en suite to master bedroom). The living room benefits from very high ceilings and a mezzanine sleeping area, which will appeal to more nimble travellers happy with a slightly steep wooden ladder. A highlight of this home is the fabulous westerly aspect of the living room. Its wrought iron balcony is bathed in the afternoon light and overlooks the tropical greenery of the neighbourhood's gardens.

Sinclair Road is within easy reach of some excellent gastropubs, restaurants, the Westfield Shopping & Cinema complex, Holland Park, and many other amenities. Schöne und ruhige Wohnung

Die Wohnung bietet alles was man braucht. Man sollte sich im klaren sein, dass das Bett im Alkoven nur von älteren Kindern oder Erwachsenen genutzt werden kann, wegen der steilen Treppe und weil die Küche/Stube sonst abends nicht genutzt werden kann. Die Küche ist gut ausgerüstet. Die beschichteten Pfannen sollten allerdings mal ersetzt werden, da sie in schlechtem Zustand sind. Sonst alles super und auch sauber. Die Lage in der Nähe von zwei U-Bahnhöfen (respektive Bahnhöfen und Busknoten) und das nahe, riesige Einkaufszentrum sind im Ferienalltag sehr praktisch. Trotzdem ist es ein ruhiges und hübsches Quartier. Alles in allem ein Bijou!

The flat was conveniently located and rather tastefully decorate. However, the main light fixture in the living room was broken. The heat was very hard to regulate, and it was either too cold or too warm. The biggest disappointment was the broken washer and dryer. Despite the repair man coming twice, it never did get fixed and we had to walk to a local laundromat. Ivy did reimburse us for this expense, but we’re unwilling to Compass a free day nor take any money off of our rent.

Enjoyed our stay

This was our first time staying in London and this location was perfect. We enjoyed a local neighborhood while still having easy access to a variety of sites. The property was clean, quiet and very accommodating. It matched the description perfectly. Easy access (10 minute walk) to tube station or train.

Misleading and Disappointing

We tried to resolve this through consistent communication with the host of this property but were dismissed and ignored. We hope this information helps in creating a favorable experience for future guests. We had numerous issues with our experience staying at this flat. The location is great, but the amenities do not match the listing here on VRBO. First, the dishes and bathrooms were not clean upon arrival. We immediately set to cleaning, handwashing a few things so we could make tea, and loading the rest into the dishwasher. Upon running the dishwasher, it cut the power to the unit. We did our best to coordinate with the host regarding handymen coming in to fix the issue, but after two attempts, it was not resolved and the host did not follow up with us, resulting in the fridge being out on the second day and our groceries spoiling. Additionally, the cookware was not safe to cook in, as it was damaged. We purchased groceries expecting to cook our meals at the apartment however were very disappointed to see that all the non—stick pans were heavily scratched exposing toxic material. This is a serious health and safety concern for all guests staying in this flat as the cooking implements have been obviously neglected for some time. The listing isn’t accurate and we had a very stressful vacation. We are all regular travelers, for work and fun, so this stay really stood out as completely incongruent to its cost. Until the host updates its listing, it’s not worth it.

Very Nice Location and Great Place To Stay

This is an amazing flat in a great location! About a 10min walk from the nearest tube/trains and the Westfield mall with lots of stores/restaurants and grocery available. The flat itself is large with good sized rooms; master bedroom, a single bedroom, and a loft bed with a very low ceiling that my son loved staying in as a little hide-away room. The two bathrooms were plenty for 4 people. And most important of all, black out shutters so you don't wake up at the crack of dawn! My only gripe is the old cookware. Bent pans that have the non-stick coating completely gone, loose jiggling handles, etc.. Really gave the place a cheaper feel and seemed so out of place for the rest of the decor. Hopefully they spend a few quid to buy new ones. Would absolutely stay here again

This place was great! We had plenty of room for 2 couples and a 19 year old. It was close to tube stations as well as a grocery and restaurants. Beds were comfortable! I would stay here again !

What a flat!!!

First, we arrived to London around 7am. There were guests checking out of the flat, so we couldn't get in first thing. However, and this is huge, the property manager was in communication with the cleaning service and they expedited our checkin by 3-4 hours. I can't tell you the relief and appreciation we felt as, to no surprise, we were exhausted. Second, the flat is amazing. 3 beds, 2 bedrooms and a loft. Everyone had their own bed an private space. Everything was new, clean and functioning. The location was amazing. Easy to get to several tube stations and was just far enough out of the craziness, yet could get anywhere easily. Easy to walk to a lot of parks, sites, restaurants, etc, as well! Lastly, the property manager is awesome and responsive. In addition to helping us out at checkin, we locked our set of keys in the flat. She helped us out immediately and grabbing another set of keys took minutes. We would 100% stay here again!!!

First time visitor

Since I am only allowed 1500 characters, this review will be a brief review. The property was nice, clean, and well appointed. The check-in process could have been better since you have to go to a different location to pick up the keys. A lock box at the door would have been better. The listing was accurate, but the pictures made the flat look much larger than it is. Also the beds were listed as king size, but in America these would be considered queen size at best. Despite this, the space was still quite comfortable for four adults over eight days. Communication with the property manager was easy, and responses were very prompt. E-mails we're routinely answered within the hour. The neighborhood has it's pro's and con's. On one hand it is only a 10-minute walk to a tube station, there are great restaurants nearby, and several well stocked grocery stores from which to choose. On the other hand there seemed to be a lot on litter on the streets, we walked by homeless people daily going to the tube, and we were not all that comfortable in some areas after dark. Overall I would say the pro's outweighed the con's and would recommend this property for those looking for a clean affordable location with quick access to the city.

Great stay in Shepherds Bush

We spent a fantastic week at this VRBO. Great location, easy access to public transportation and very central to all of London. The rental was clean and comfortable with a great to come home to after a long day walking around the city.

Quiet comfortable home, stones throw away from the city

Our family had the best time visiting London from the comfort of this flat. It was incredibly well appointed and comfortable! Noticeable things like soft pillows and blankets, hot water for showers are so appreciated after long days exploring London. It’s also so well situated between two tube stations making getting around so easy. I would highly recommend this location for families or friends traveling together. If I am ever lucky enough to travel to London again, I will absolutely hope to stay in this flat in Shepherd’s Bush!

Wonderful London Accomodations

We just enjoyed a wonderful visit to London and were so pleased with our accommodations. The property manager was always so prompt in responding to any inquiries and was so courteous. The location is very close to the central line - Shepherds Bush tube stop - and getting around London was very easy. The flat is very clean, bright and a nice respite from a day of walking all over the place. I appreciated the two bathrooms and the washer/dryer. The beds were comfortable, the living space very nice and the kitchen fully functional. I would definitely stay here again for a future visit. It’s perfect for families. Thank you so much for a wonderful place.

A Great Flat in London

I cannot over-state how much we enjoyed our stay in this Shepherds Bush apartment. The unit was clean, well equipped, a short walk to the Tube, and all requests for assistance (no issues with the apartment) from Ivy’s team were quickly addressed. The unit will easily accommodate two couples or a larger family…the loft is best for younger folks given access is via a short ladder but the bed there is very comfortable. Other beds are also very comfortable…a pleasure after a long day/evening touring London. This flat is a real find…we’ll be booking it again for a follow up visit and recommend it to friends/family. Thank so much to the staff for your communication leading up to our trip.

Would definitely stay there again.

Our family stayed at the property from Nov. 10-20, 2023. I think the best thing I can say about it is we would stay there again tomorrow. My wife and I traveled with our 2 adult daughters, so the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths were absolutely necessary for us. The beds were comfortable and clean and everything in the bathrooms worked properly - no leaks, lots of hot water, etc. The kitchen/dining area was well-appointed and suited our needs perfectly. We made good use of the kitchen for our breakfasts/brunch/lunch. We very much appreciated the full-sized refrigerator and dishwasher. Initially we thought not having a microwave would be a drawback, but it wasn't. There's a library in the living area, and we made use of some of the guidebooks as we planned our London touring. The television seems good, but we hardly used it. Wi-Fi is strong and reliable throughout the property. We all connected devices to it concurrently with no performance issues. The location of the property was good for us. The walk to groceries and tube are a very manageable 8-10 mins. The tube system was our mode of transportation so I don't know how convenient the location would be for anyone using a car. The street that the property is on is well-traveled, but we weren't negatively impacted by any road/traffic noise. There are other tenants in the building but we didn't interact with them at all. The key pickup/dropoff process is simple and went seamlessly, but the site is a tad inconvenient.

Perfect for our family

We had a wonderful stay. The space was perfect for our family of four, and the master bedroom and living/dining area was bigger than we expected. Everything was wonderfully furnished and perfectly clean. Directions were clear and easy to follow. The location was terrific: We traveled throughout London all week from two underground stations (Shepherd’s Bush and Kensington Olympia) — both were less than 10min walks. Our neighborhood has two awesome pub/restaurants (Havelock Tavern and Bird in Hand) which we had incredible meals at. Also a convenience store, cute coffee shop and pizza shop within walking distance. We had an unforgettable holiday in London, and this apartment was a big part of it. Would love to stay again!

First time in England

This was our first time in England and the location was perfect. Close to shopping, grocery store, restaurants and transportation. The apartment was good and with natural lighting. Towels and shower essentials left for us was a nice touch and a book on the apartment and the surrounding areas. Great touch. I would stay again if ever on that side of the pond.
