Diese Wohnung im zweiten Stock mit zwei Schlafzimmern befindet sich in einem sicheren, zweckmäßig gebauten Block und wurde in dieser großartigen Lage sorgfältig renoviert.
Das Anwesen besteht aus einem geräumigen, offenen Empfangsraum und einer Einbauküche mit Essbereich für 6 Personen. Zwei geräumige, natürlich helle Schlafzimmer mit einem schönen Super-Kingsize-Bett im Hauptschlafzimmer und einem Kingsize-Bett im zweiten Schlafzimmer. Das Badezimmer besteht aus Badewanne und Dusche. Das Chepstow Villa's befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe der angesagten Restaurants, Geschäfte und Bars von Notting Hill, Portobello und Westbourne Gove. Auch zu Fuß vom Hyde Park und High St Kensington.

Die nächstgelegene U-Bahnstation ist Notting Hill Gate (Central, District und Circle Lines).

Great location, wonderful host — but beds need improvement

We had a lovely stay at this flat in Notting Hill. The location is truly fantastic — close to charming shops, great restaurants, and just a short walk to the Underground. It’s much quieter than staying in the heart of the city, which was perfect for our family. There are several playgrounds nearby, and the flat itself was clean, comfortable, and well equipped.Adriana was an outstanding host — responsive, kind, and so helpful throughout our stay. Can’t say enough good things about her!We were there during an unexpected heat wave, and while the flat doesn’t have air conditioning, fans were provided and helped us manage.Our only real complaint was the beds. The pull-out couch was unfortunately unusable — our kids each tried it and found it too uncomfortable to sleep on. One even ended up sleeping in two chairs pushed together on the last night. The mattresses in the bedrooms were thin, quite firm, and you could feel the springs. They were also very noisy with any movement, which made it hard to sleep through the night.If the beds were upgraded, this would be a five-star stay without question. Still, a great place overall in a beautiful neighborhood.

Our Favorite Place in London

This was our 8th stay in the apartment. We love it. Great pubs and restaurants near by. Buses just steps away. Underground a 7-10 minute walk. Paul and his family are very responsive. It is our favorite place to stay.

Spacious apartment in a great location.

Really appreciated returning to the apartment after a day of sightseeing. Located in a great neighborhood that is quiet and charming. Lots of market and dining options available within easy walking distance. Apartment is comfortable and well equipped.

Wonderful London Stay!

Just completed a one week stay and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The flat is in a perfect location - very close to Notting Hill Gate Tube station, Portobello Road, shopping, etc. Paul's son Harvey greeted us, explained everything and made himself available to us throughout our stay. Highly recommended & we hope to return soon!

Cozy flat with great location.

Our family of 5 was really comfortable in this flat. It is in an absolutely terrific location and the flat has all the amenities we needed. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels and the kitchen had what ever I needed. The owner was great and easy to deal with.

A Great Place

This was our third stay and we loved it just as much. A great apartment, very well equipped, great neighborhood and close to the underground. There are lots of very good restaurants, pubs and shops just a few minutes away. Paul is very responsive and helpful and a great person to know. We can't say enough to recommend the place. This is a great apartment. Great neighborhood. Bus Stops a few steps away and the Underground a 5-10 minute walk. Great pubs, restaurants, and stores a short walk away. This was our fifth stay and we loved it. Paul and his daughter took great care of us. They will go to great lengths to deal with any problems. We hope to be back next year.

Perfect location and space!

This Notting Hill property was perfect for our recent visit to London. It is a safe, logistically convenient, and charming area to stay in. There is easy access to all modes of transportation, as well as quaint places for food and drink. A modest but well-appointed flat in a very posh area of London

We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, several in London. The attributes that make this a desirable rental are: -Personal attention from the owner -Location, near restaurants, tube, Paddington, shopping, etc. -Size, very large for the price -Furnishings and supplies, everything we needed was on site, the beds were comfortable, all the appliances were functional -Condition, clean and without the symptoms of abuse seen with some rentals We'd certainly stay here again.

Excellent location!

We had a great stay at this Notting Hill flat. It was a great location- easy access to buses and a tube station. We were able to see all of the main areas of London easily and enjoyed getting back to our quiet street each day. The flat had everything we needed, including fans for each room (hugely appreciated!). Several grocery stores within walking distance, and an excellent Taqueria around the corner. Excellent stay!

We had a lovely four days in the Notting Hill flat! Paul was responsive from the outset. His son, Harvey, met us upon our arrival to orient us to the specifics of the flat and provide some info on the neighborhood. The flat was clean and bright, a perfect launching pad from which our family of five could explore London. It's close to the tube and numerous busses, and it's an easy walk to numerous restaurants and the shops on Portobello Road. We would definitely stay there again.

Highly, highly recommended. Terrific Notting Hilll neighborhood 3 blocks from Portobello Rd, great shops and cafes. Easy walk to Kensington Gardens for a run - so relaxing. 15 mins from Soho and all the great areas for touring. Paul was fantastic. Quiet clean building with elevator and easy access. He even had a DVD of Notting Hill which we watched of course as the film was shot down the street

Wonderful little flat!

My wife, toddler, and I stayed here for several nights and it was one of the best VRBO experiences we have had. Paul met us at check-in and made sure that we knew where everything was and how to work things. He had a baby highchair and a crib there all ready for us, which saved us a huge hassle in renting those things for our toddler. The flat was very clean and everything worked. Location wise it is good with some nearby restaurants and convenience stores. It's a little walk to a tube station, but not bad at all. Would recommend this for someone to stay if they are visiting London!

Nice flat and good location

My wife and I along with our two sons stayed in this flat/condo for almost 2 weeks in June. The owner Paul met us at the flat upon arrival and explained the lay of the land, local attractions, local shops and restaurants, direction to the subway etc. This flat is as described, clean, tidy and well maintained. It is within walking distance of the Notting Hill Gate subway station (8-10 minutes walk) and there is a bus stop just 2 or 3 minutes down the road as well. There are many restaurants and shops nearby all within easy walking distance. The kitchen is well stocked with cups/plates/utensils in case you want to cook. We plan to come back to London in the future and will stay at this flat again.

Notting Hill

The unit was great. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The neighborhood was fantastic. So many shops and restaurants within walking distance. A Tube station within an 8 minute walk, or so. The only thing that surprised us was that the building was in the midst of a construction project and we were frustrated we weren’t told about this ahead of time. It only amounted to some cluttered and dusty hallways and one morning of noise that started before the teens wanted to be woken up. Also, the views out the windows were blocked with scaffolding. The contact person ,Adriana, was pleasant to work with.

Hard to understand all the 5 Star reviews

We stayed in this property for 4 nights (my wife and I, our son, and our 7 year old grandson). Our one agreement with the other reviewers is that this is an excellent location. You can walk to the Tube and many restaurants and shops. Other than that, the apartment was not clean (the rug in the living room was really dirty), including some of the silverware and dishware. The beds were really uncomfortable (and the "throw pillows" were also filthy). The garbage disposal didn't work at all. It was nice that they provided a Nespresso machine....but no pods. And there didn't seem to be any place to buy them. Would it have been too much trouble to leave some coffee for us? The bathroom was also really a bit cramped....the toilet is right up against the bathtub. I would think a large person would have a great deal of difficulty maneuvering in there. Maybe I'm just spoiled, as we usually stay in nice hotels. Although the price was good by London standards, I would definitely not stay at this place again. It was shabby and looked like it was furnished at a garage sale. Many of the drawers were difficult to open, and it was just not what I would call a "nice place".

Awesome flat for family vacation!

First, I want to thank Paul and Jackie for being wonderful hosts! Our flight from Los Angeles was delayed by several hours and we endured a long customs line at Heathrow Airport. Therefore, we were many hours past our anticipated arrival time. They stayed to greet us until we arrived even though they had a night out on the town planned for the 2 of them. Thank you! Regarding the flat - we loved it! It was perfect for our family. We were 2 adults and 2 children (aged 5 and 13). You enter the flat in a hallway. The 2 bedrooms are on the right and the living area/kitchen are on the left, separated by the hallway. You can close the hallway door, providing privacy to both areas. The bedrooms and living area were spacious with comfortable and functional furniture. I loved the dressing table in the master bedroom so I could do hair/makeup while the others used the toilet. The living area had tons of books, games, and toys that kept the kids entertained. Although we were out sightseeing everyday, it was lovely to come back to the flat in the early evening to make dinner or just relax for a bit before going out again. The neighborhood was charming and very safe. The living areas were on a fairly busy street but the noise didn't bother us at night as the bedrooms are on the other side of the flat. The neighborhood was literally a block away from grocery stores and restaurants. It was a 15 min walk to Notting Hill Gate (for us with a 5-year old). We walked to Kensington Gardens several times. It is absolutely gorgeous and there is a wonderful playground there for young kids. We even walked home from Harrods Dept Store one evening through the park and it turned out to be the most beautiful walk of our trip. The major sites like Big Ben, London Eye, etc. are further away but personally I liked being away from the hustle and bustle of the city areas. Overall, it was a perfect place to stay and we would love to come back again!
