Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is in a great location to explore London. Sonia has bread, milk, juice etc for us which was wonderful. The beds are somewhat uncomfortable but otherwise a great option.

Perfect Location

Great apartment in a great location. And Sonia was the perfect host. She allowed us to check in a little early and even supplied some food essentials to get us started for the week. Comfortable and charming!

This was a vey comfortable flat with the owner's (Sonia) personal touches which added to its charm. The flat was well equipped and perfectly located within walking distance of several great museums. The nearest tube, South Kensington Station, was also a very short walk away. Sonia helped with directions, dinner recommendations and everything else we needed to know. We appreciated her generous hospitality.

Excellent London Home Base for the Tourist, right on South Kensington Tube Station

Well stocked condo right. 100m from the South Kensington Tube Station. Very easy access from London Heathrow, situated in area with multiple dining and drink options. Fantastic owners - very friendly and helpful! We couldn’t have picked a better place for our first visit to London.

Best place and hosts ever!

Neville and Sonia’s beautiful townhome is in the best location in South Kensington, close to the train and all major attractions. They are the bests hosts providing breakfasts items for the first morning. And, they have wonderful tips to see the city. We couldn’t ask for a better place. Will surely return! Perfect location & host

This property was perfect for our (two couples) visit during a chilly few days in London. Quick walk to train or shops and pubs nearby, as well as an easy walk to the attractions listed even on a cold, snowy day. Busy area at times and trains do pass regularly, but you are well located in a major city so completely expected. Sonia was probably the best host we have met...so caring and kind. We've never been left 'groceries' before and they ended up quite helpful after our later-than-expected arrival. Couldn't be more thankful and would love to visit and stay in the summer!

Sunlight spacious and near everything

The three bedrooms worked well for our family. The living, dining and kitchen we’re comfortable and provided all we needed. Bathrooms sunlights added light to the rest of the home. We were very close to the underground for trips within and outside London. You can hear the underground from the home but back windows were double to dampen the sound. Lots of great places to eat nearby and groceries were very accessible. Sonia and Andrea were were great about communicating and helping with our stay. We really enjoyed our stay and were out and about everyday with so much to see!

Comfortable condo in a great location

We enjoyed this Condo very much. We traveled with our daughter, son-in law and two grandchildren and found there was plenty of space, so we weren't bumping into each other. When we arrived, the place was sparkling clean and the kitchen was stocked with milk, cereal, bread, and plenty of fresh fruit . There was a nice bottle of wine awaiting us as well as some good English cheese. The owner was out of town but there was a friendly and capable substitute who explains how things worked and how to get around. This is a bout a block from the So Kensington tube stop with the Picadilly, Circle and District lines all there. The neighborhood is great with near-by museums, Harrods, plenty of coffee shops (Paul's has great coffee and pastries) and lots of ethnic restaurants and Pubs . We especially recommend the near-by Polish restaurant and the Hereford Piub.

Exceeded Expectations!!!

When I imagined our trip to London, I hoped that I could find a place to stay that would be somewhat close to public transportation and have enough space for us to relax after long days of experiencing London. What we ended up with was a perfect home filled with warmth, light, and beautiful art. Three lovely bedrooms and bathrooms (one with a washing machine), a kitchen filled with anything you need to make your own meal or enjoy take out, a large dining room, a cozy living room, wi-fi, tv with Netflix, a front door with extra locks (although we never felt unsafe), and a wonderful host named Sonia who lived downstairs. What can I say about Sonia that you haven't read in the other reviews? We fell in love with her the minute we met her. She is so intelligent, is curious about the world, and ensuring that your stay is wonderful. We had come to London for a vacation and for my daughter to attend a concert. Sonia gave us excellent advice about transportation, suggested places for us to go eat and visit, and was invested in our having a great time. An absolute dream host and now a friend! I wouldn't hesitate to book this place. You won't be sorry. You are a block and a half away from The Underground, have access to a multitude of excellent restaurants and bakeries, little shops, and are minutes away from world-class museums and parks. Anything else you want is a train ride away. I can't wait to go back and stay with Sonia again!

Perfect London Location with a Personal Touch

For us (two adults and one child just turning 17 during the stay) both the location, Sonia's warm personal welcome (including several small, fresh flower arrangements and a fruit basket, some breakfast basics and also a white wine which we just didn't manage to drink) and the personal touch of the three bedroom-apartment were perfect. All three of us could sleep very well. Of course, you could hear a bit of the street life and the trains - which did not disturb us in the least. The dining / kitchen area is nicely designed and equipped with everything you need. The living room is very comfortable to sit - and also to watch TV or to read one of the many London guidebooks. You have personalized cushions everywhere and, of course, large paintings in the dining room area and in the hallway. Our own house is quite old, and we simply love older houses with a character of their own. On the next occasion we would very much like to come again.

Die Ferienwohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet, so dass man nach einem langen Besichtigungstag das GefĂŒhl hat nach Hause zu kommen. Die Unterkunft ist in einem zentralen (U-Bahn-Station fußlĂ€ufig), gepflegten Stadtteil mit schönen Restaurants und GeschĂ€ften gelegen. Sonia ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Warm reception

Sonia was a most kind host, we had the pleasure of a very warm reception. She was very helpful to facilitate our stay. Fresh fruit and essential first supplies were provided. The location of the appartment is perfect to discover London, visit musems, Harrods, Chelsea, etc. We stayed there with our adult children and a baby girl and we really enjoyed our stay. Underground station is closely located , this may be considered inconvenient if noise sensitive.

Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Wohnung, grosszĂŒgig und sehr sauber, in einem sehr schönen Quartier Londons. Wir waren zwei Erwachsene mit 5 Teenagern, die Wohnung war gross genug fĂŒr uns. Neville und seine Ehefrau sind ĂŒberaus nett. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, mit einem Fruchtkorb, einer Flasche Wein und einigen Lebensmitteln. Wer einen schönen und komfortablen Aufenthalt in London erleben möchte, bucht diese Wohnung.

Great home base for our stay

This home was great for our family of 6. It’s a very short walk to the South Kensington station. We walked there every day to start our adventures and stopped at Pret on the way for breakfast.The home was comfortable for us and we appreciated the two and a half baths with 4 teenage girls. Sonia is a fabulous host, answered questions quickly, and was very reassuring when we arrived two days late after two cancelled flights.

Very nice location. 3 small but nice bedrooms. The linens and beds need to be replaced, as they are extremely tired. No clothing dryer - fortunately the weather allowed us to hang towels outside. Could not beat location and hostess was lovely.

Great location with pros and cons

Pros: great location! Close to Underground and many restaurants. Very nice for our family to gather in the morning for coffee and after our busy days of traveling. Kitchen well stocked and refrigerator had some staples for us. Lots of closet space. A nice courtyard in the front where we gathered for cocktails. Cons: checkout time in vrbo said 11am but owner told us we must leave at 10am. For the price we paid vrbo for cleaning, I expected a very clean house. Floors were dirty (our white socks were filthy on the bottom), bathroom tiles were moldy, and under the bed was dirty and dusty. Linens in main bedroom were stained as well as the mattress pad. Mattress was very thin, uncomfortable, and the bed was squeaky. Other bedrooms had uncomfortable beds as well. Towels in bathrooms were old and rough. Linens and towels should be upgraded to allow for more comfort to the guests.

Great location and property!

This was a great stay for our family - two adults, two teens, and a pre-teen. The three bedrooms were great, and the two twin beds allowed all of the kids to have their own bed. Two showers were also helpful in getting everyone ready in the morning. The washing machine and drying rack made doing laundry easy. The kitchen was well-appointed, though we didn't do any cooking as there are plenty of restaurants nearby. In terms of location, the tube stop is a short, easy walk. With three underground lines at the stop, we rarely had to change trains to get to the popular tourist areas. Sonia, the host, was easy to communicate with ahead of our stay. She met us when we arrived at the property and gave us a thorough and very friendly orientation. We didn't have any issues during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place, great location

We stayed for five days, parents and adult kids. Was a terrific location and the home was a perfect place to come home to after a long day. You can get anywhere easily from South Kensington tube station which is just down the street. Would definitely stay again.
