Beautiful Dartmoor village location, modern family home. Dog friendly!

Situated in Dartmoor National Park and near to the stunning South Hams beaches in South Devon, Christow is a great village location for a relaxing holiday.
The house has been recently renovated and is a comfortable space to kick back and relax with family and friends. The outdoor space is perfect for children to play and for adults to enjoy the decking area for an evening drink.
Dogs are allowed. We are not dog owners so we ask that any doggie guests are kept to the downstairs living area and utility room (ie not on the carpets please!).
Christow itself has two popular pubs, and the surrounding villages all have their own fabulous pubs with great food options.
You’ll be able to enjoy some delightful country walks directly from home. Canonteign Falls, and the forest trails around the local reservoirs are all only 2 miles away. (all suitable for walking and mountain biking).
The nearest beaches stretch between Teignmouth through to Torquay and then onto Brixham, with good beaches at Teignmouth, Ness Cove, Anstey’s Cove, Maidencombe, Goodrington, Broadsands, Elberry Cove and Church Cove. All these are approximately 25/30 mins away. Exmouth beach offers the opportunity to windsurf and kitesurf can be found 35 mins away. The stunning South Hames beaches and coastline offers the opportunity to explore tucked away coves, along with easy to access sandy beaches perfect for family days out.
Haldon Forest Park is 15 minutes drive and is known for its walking and mountain biking trails. These biking trails are suitable for all abilities from the sedate to the exhilarating! Go Ape, Go Segway and the Gruffalo Trail can also be found here. Haldon Riding Stables offers horse riding treks through the forest.
Crealy Theme Park and Woodlands Family Theme park are both easily accessible and good fun!
Dartmoor is the home to walking, hiking, road and mountain biking, horse riding, rock climbing; from sheltered woodland valleys, to wide open landscapes there’s something for everyone.
Exeter is a 15 minute drive and has a wide range of shops, theatres, restaurants, cinemas and other leisure activities.
