Summary:
Salt & City stays welcome you to Woodfield, a family beach house just 200m from Tenby's famous South Beach. On a private road overlooking Wales' oldest links golf course, Woodfield is ideally located to explore Tenby, the beaches & the coast path and offers a unique opportunity to enjoy everything Tenby offers from a hidden location usually reserved for locals 'in the know'! The property provides a touch of beachside luxury whilst retaining the character of the original family home.
The Space:
Entering the property from the sunny terrace and tiered garden, you pass through the porch into the open-plan living and dining space. The living space provides a family dining area, with 6 seater dining table overlooking the lounge with 40" Smart TV (enabled with Netflix and Disney+ to use with your own account). There is WIFI throughout alongside some board games and plenty of books – the front patio is the perfect spot to sit with a good book, or to enjoy the stunning views over the golf course.
Flooded with natural light from the skylight and with views over the golf course, the kitchen provides everything you need to cater for family meals and relaxing breakfasts. Fully equipped with a 4-ring gas hob & electric oven, large 60/40 fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer, toaster, microwave, utensils and all-important wine glasses!
The 3 bedrooms are accessed from the living area, including 2 double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, the twin with en-suite WC, and the spacious family bathroom with a full-size bath with shower. All of the beds include brand new Simba Mattresses (installed 2024) with luxury linen for a perfect night's sleep. All linen and towels are provided for your stay.
The south-facing terrace and garden provide an outdoor dining area and plenty of space to enjoy the sunshine throughout the day. In the evening, the terrace produces a sheltered sun trap, perfect for sunset drinks. The property includes parking for 3 cars directly outside the house with easy access for loading/unloading. You're welcome to leave your car until 3 pm on the day of departure to give you time to enjoy your last day in Tenby.
Guest Access:
As a guest at Woodfield, you have full, private access to the entire property. However, we're always on hand if you need us.
Tenby's South Beach is a 200m stroll from the property and also include the popular South Beach Bar & Grill that is well worth exploring.
A 10-minute walk along brings you into the heart of Tenby Old Town with a choice of restaurants, independent shops, coffee shops, takeaways and supermarkets. We're more than happy to recommend our favourite spots.
Tenby can be easily accessed by car, rail or bus. The rail and bus stop are both within a 10-minute walk from the property.
This is a beautiful small coastal town. The central streets are closed to traffic in summer and it is easy to get around on foot. However, we do recommend having access to a car to make the most of everything Pembrokeshire offers.
The Neighborhood:
With award-winning beaches, a warm atmosphere and fine Victorian houses painted in sugared almond colours, Tenby is one of the UK's prettiest and cosiest seaside towns. Tenby is a delightful little harbour town and seaside resort situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and home to many Restaurants, shops, cafes and pubs all linked by cobbled streets.
Coastal walks, boat trips, fishing, water sports, cycling, a top links golf course and much more all start in Tenby. There is plenty of family fun like crabbing, sandcastles and exploring the lifeboat station. Further afield, Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme park, Heatherton World of Activities, Dinosaur Park and Manor Wildlife Park are all within a 10-mile radius.

The property includes parking for 3 cars directly outside the house with easy access for loading/unloading.

-Tenby is host to the infamous Ironman Triathlon as well as other events throughout the year. During these times, the town can become quite busy with road closures and diversions in place. Ironman usually takes place in early September, with other sporting events happening in late June and early July.
