Glück gehabt

Als wir in unserem Feriendomizil ankamen, mussten wir feststellen, dass es ein Problem mit der Elektrizität gab. So konnte man nicht gleichzeitig heizen, warmes Badewasser haben und auch noch kochen! Die Vermieter waren sehr hilfreich und boten uns ihr zweites Ferienhaus an. Dieses Haus war perfekt, alles funktionierte und wir haben eine wundervolle Zeit verbracht!

Very bad experience

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with this chalet and cannot recommend it for future stays. We were quite unhappy with the chalet in general, since several things did not work out the way it was put in the online description. Not only was one of the three bathrooms de facto out of order, in addition the warm water was only sufficient for four persons to shower after skiing. Heating fresh cold water in the tank then took really long (~ until midnight). Other problems we had in the chalet (dozens of flies, a broken chair, a window could not be locked) add to the overall picture. Furthermore, we are very upset that, regardless of our attempts to inform the owners right in the beginning of our stay, nothing happened.

Problem with the electrics, great word burner :)

The chalet is beautifully done. We just struggled with the electrics. When we turned up it was dark and the electrics had tripped. It took us a little while to find the fuse board (behind the kitchen door) and to the left of the front door. Consequently the chalet was very cold. We put the heating on and started cooking dinner but the electrics kept tripping. We discovered as the week went on that its best to put the radiators and heating on in the morning and then turn them both off when you get in so you can cook. We still had to get up once each night when the electrics tripped to keep the fridge going and for those getting up to use the loo!. There is no toilet on the lower two floors so if you are in the bedrooms in the lower level you have to walk up two floors to use the toilet. There was though lots of lovely logs and the wood burner was very effective so we lit that everyday when we got in which heated everything up. It is in a great position, a very short drive to the slopes and great access if you want to drive to Val Thoren. We had a problem with a tap not turning off but a plumber was coming to sort it so shouldn't be a problem now. Thank you for a lovely week.

Leuke ruime woning dicht bij de piste. Met de auto nog geen 10 min.

Huis was ruim,voldoende apparatuur. Afstand naar de piste was prima. Jammer dat er bij de 2 slaapkamers beneden geen toilet was.

Geweldig comfortabel huis!

Fantastic location - So close to Saint Martin

Angela's property is delightful and we were warmly welcomed by Dave to the property even though it was late. Dave also help us out a lot and I must say he was a star. The property was immaculate and the log fire was a very pleasing element at the end of a very hard days skiing. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Great location and fitted out to a high standard

Great property with four good sized bedrooms. Fitted out to a high standard and well thought through, for example 2 large fridges so you dont have to keep going to the supermarket. The only small downside is that there is no toilet on the ground floor, so people in those rooms have to climb 2 flights of stairs.

10 go skiing and have a holiday to remember!

We had a terrific time and the house proved to be a convenient and homely base from which to explore the slopes and fields of the area. 5 adults and 5 grandchildren aged 9 and under enjoyed the stunningly efficient log burner, the communal kitchen/diner was a natural gathering space and the bedrooms proved more than adequate and comfortable. The 'facilities' were very clean and modern and the kitchen well equipped. Being less than a five minute drive to the ski lifts of St Martin de Belleville was ideal with the full range of the 3 Valleys ski area a wonderful bonus. Walks in the fields and foothills revealed wild boar and birds including woodpeckers and buzzards, and a landscape whose majesty infuses a humility and awe of mother Nature at her best. We had a wonderful holiday and would love to return one day.

Highly recommended for families

A really well equipped house. We loved the large kitchen and lounge with log burning stove. It was only 5 mins to the lifts in St Martin, where you can park all day for free.

Superb! Minutes from ski lift and restaurants.

Superb location and luxury accommodation. We frequent the alps on a yearly basis and would rate this as one of the most enjoyable places to stay. Great for skiers and non skiers alike for either a winter or summer holiday. The house is nicely furnished with stunning views of the Alps. Two thumbs up!!
