Villa Montemaggio by Fantasia Villas

The Montemaggio homestead, completely rebuilt, is in the heart of the Chianti, like an antique tower dominating the splendid hills.

It is possible to wander in the garden, surrounded by countless flowers and maybe tasting some figs or blackberries, according the season. You can take a dip in the pool (11 x 5 mtrs and depth 1,5 mt.) on the hot, summer days, or decide to dedicate yourself to the very well equipped gym to keep in form. You can take a nap in the shade, read a good book or simply enjoy the quiet of nature.

One of the best characteristics of the villa is the biological kitchen garden. You can take part in cooking courses, picking the fresh fruit and vegetables and tasting the fresh picked strawberries. The villa is wonderful for grownups but also for children, who have their tree-house and a park full of games.

The house is situated inside the vineyard and an operational cellar.

During the week days there might be workers working around the cellar, degustation rooms and often tourist visiting the estate. To reach the house there is an unpavedroad for three and a half kms.
