We had a nice relaxing family break in Daisy Cottage. Everything needed in a good holiday home is there. The Cottage was clean, bright and spacious and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Summer ☀️

Lovely stay at Daisy cottage are party of 6 and 2 well behaved dogs really enjoyed it.Plenty of room for 6 adults beds really comfy everything you needed Lovely outlook on the communal grassed area would recommend a visit to the bay filey.

Daisy Cottage , bay village Filey

5 ti 10 min walk to restaurant/pub . 10 to 15 min walk to beach . Steep climb back from beach. Beach is lovely and can walk to Filey in about 45 to 1 hour at a pleasant stroll. ANCHOR BAY HOLIDAYS kept us well informed through the booking process to the end of the holiday. Cottage was lovely and clean ample room for us including small dog . The surrounding area is very dog friendly.

Perfect in every way

Plenty of communication by text and e mail before our arrival. First impression on arrival was that the village and house were perfect. Immaculately maintained grounds. House was immaculate and spotlessly clean. It was a proper house, modern, well equipped, well laid out and with spacious rooms. The whole site felt very safe and it was very quiet. Well worth a visit

Excellent for families

Stayed over Christmas whilst visiting family and it was perfect. A very spacious and comfortable cottage for 3 adults and 2 children, with very comfy beds. Had everything we needed and customer services was great with clear instructions. We would definitely stay there again.

Daisy Cottage, The Bay Filey

Daisy Cottage is a lovely property with everything you require for a self catering holiday and situated on a very nice site. The only recommendations I would suggest is that the cleaners do a better job. There were quite a few cobwebs in the property and the extractor fans in the bathrooms were clogged with dust. Also the cushions on the sofas could do with a wash.

Lovely short break

Daisy Cottage was a clean, spacious property which made for a very comfortable stay for myself, husband, 15 and 11 year old. The property had everything we needed for a four night stay. The communication was first class from booking to departure.

We had an enjoyable holiday at The Bay, there is plenty of things to do for everyone. Daisy Cottage was ideal for us, it was clean and provided most of the equipment you needed to make life easy on holiday.

Perfect

Clear, spacious and had everything we needed for our weekend break. Walk to the pub was about 5 mins, small patio with chairs and table outside to sit in the sun, beds were comfy, shower pressure was good. Would recommend

great property for group

Daisy cottage had a leak in the ensuite bathroom down to the kitchen clearly been there before as you could see where it had tried to be repaired. Cleanliness needed work on the skirting boards and around the shower cubicle .

Wonderful stay at Daisy Cottage

We spend 3 lovely nights at Daisy Cottage at the start of September. Daisy cottage is comfortable, extremely spacious and a home from home. The photos are wonderful but they don’t do justice in my opinion, we were so surprised by how spacious, light and airy it was! It’s in a great spot, it was really quiet but only a short walk from all the great amenities on site. The area of the beach that you can access from The Bay is lovely. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive during the booking process and they really helped us out when we left something in the property after check out. Absolutely nothing I could fault. We will absolutely stay again!

Lovely clean property.

Overall a very nice property. Nice to haves - mirror in twin bedroom and hair dryer. Few bits of mould appearing in bathroom that need attention. It was hard to find which car park to park in and when we found the correct one it was full. But we managed to park across the road.

Nice cottage but the bay isn't for the handicaped

We have been to the bay 4 times and always enjoyed it, but this time my wife brought her handicaped scooter and found the bay is not catered very well for them, drop curds only now and then so she had to go on the road alot, and the pubs only entrance for it is round the back passed the bins, when they have broped curds on the front but roped off ??

A nice property but outside space needs attention

The property was generally good and as described. Since the listing the patio furniture has deteriorated considerably and hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The listing includes a barbecue which wasn’t useable as the slab for putting a disposable bbq on was missing. The house had everything we needed for cooking but a few basic items like salt and hand wash would have been appreciated. Parking was fine, the site manager responded to questions quickly and we enjoyed the pool and gym.

Thank you for your review. We can confirm the property has now got BRAND NEW patio furniture (we have had problems sourcing this this year) and a BBQ grill slab. For allergen reasons we are not allowed to leave cooking ingredients such as salt or handwash - hope you understand.

short break

The cottage was lovely and spacious, comfy beds and a well equip kitchen. There were a couple of things that could have been checked and improved such as the cleanliness of the downstairs toilet, empty salt and pepper pots and no hand wash in any bathroom which is not something i expect to pack for a weekend away. also we couldn't find the TV remote for the twin bedroom. not the owners fault but on site the EV chargers weren't working and half the arcade machines didn't work either.
