It is close to the island's capital Argostoli and the holiday resort of Lassi.

Apartment description :
Bedroom 1: Double bedded room with plenty of built-in storage space and en-suite bathroom (large full width shower cubical). Safety deposit box fitted. Large private balcony to relax and admire tthe sea and countryside views.
Bedroom 2: Two single beds again with plenty of built-in storage space. Private balcony.
Second bathroom : accessible from the hall way. Also includes large full width shower cubical.
Additional property info :
There are a number of books in English, Kefalonia guide books and card games.
Towels and linen are provided. For bookings of 10 days or more, a mid-stay clean is included at no extra charge.
For smaller stays, should you require a mid-stay clean it can be provided for an additional charge.
No exit clean charge.
The BBQ area is alongside the pool which provides a romantic back drop to the evening when lit with underwater lighting.

Villa Helios is set in the picturesque village of Kaligata. There are fruit and olive trees around the area which give a very Mediterranean feel to the place. Vineyards are everywhere to be seen as you will discover, as this was the home of the Calliga Winery a favorite for the Robola wines. There is a winery on the way to the nearby beach (Sarris winery).
Within 10 mns walk is Marina's Bar in the centre of Kourkoumelata. It’s a café bar with a lovely view on the surrounding countryside / coast and an extensive snack & drink menu.
There is also a well-stocked supermarket about 5 mns drive, 20 mns walk.
Just 15 minutes’ walk away (5 mns drive) is Avithos beach with its views of Zakynthos and Dias islands. Here you will find three lovely bar/restaurants for refreshments: Avithos Preview Taverna, To Enetiko (with a private parking area) and a beach bar.
A car is recommended for your stay but alternatively there is the local English speaking taxi service.

Argostoli is a 15 minutes’ drive. It is the capital of the island and has many bars and restaurants and lots of shopping options with pedestrian streets. Quite often you will share the port with the turtles that are waiting for the fishermen to feast on leftover fish!

Villa Helios is the ideal place for those who are looking for a self-catering arrangement but also within a short walk of a number of bars and restaurants or a short drive to the resort of Lassi (10 mns) with its wide range of bars & restaurants offering both international and Greek cuisine, its lovely beaches and a great dive center (for all levels + PADI certifications). I am a diver (AOW) and have been diving with them for a number of years ! :)

Kayak and paddle excursions nearby. Again highly recommended !
