Home away from home

The experience was welcoming. There were just minor things that in my opinion need a bit of work, such as there was a leak by the stairs and wall in the dining room. And some minor cleaning needed before arriving. But the host was amazing. Always answered my calls when we needed him and did go above and beyond. The rooms we so comfortable for the family.

Last Minute Spring Break

Space was great, location was perfect. The condo is both a 10 min walk from the pool/beach but since it’s hilly we just drove. My family had a great time. Loved the location for other activities (50 min to San Juan, 15 to El Yunque, 40 min to Fajardo for kayak and boat tours). Arturo was helpful and responsive. Would def come again.

Paradise!!!!!

Puerto Rico is stunning. We had a great time and will definitely be back. Staying inside a gated community is very nice. The property was wonderful. The Villa was beautiful and homey. We had everything that we needed except for the golf cart. I would recommend staying here to anybody and like I said we will definitely be back. Matt, only thing I would change would be making arrangements for the golf cart to get around the property a little easier. Having a car helped in this situation. The Villa was just like the picture showed so we appreciated that. When we left there was no checkout rules. Just some clarity on what we should have done would have been nice. Overall though, it was a great stay.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit has lots of room, a full kitchen and a dining room table. The community was very peaceful; we enjoyed having our morning coffee on the covered patio. The resort area is very nice and offers a lot of amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and Convenient

Spacious, cool and clean space for myself and four friends for a week. Great to have a pool nearby and easy beach access. No golf carts were available and that was a challenge for us.

Winter getaway

We stayed at this property for five days during a winter break. It was superb. (1) HOST: Arturo is a gracious, attentive and generous host. He communicates quickly and clearly. He never made us feel like our questions were silly. He even left some treats waiting for us on the patio one of the days we were there. He is the utmost professional. (2) UNIT: The unit is clean, spacious, and easy for a family of five. The beds are comfortable and the sheets felt great! We like to cook so it was nice to have a well-appointed kitchen that had everything we needed. The supermarket is nearby so we picked up supplies on the way from the airport. There is a pool in the development but we didn't use it. (3) BEACH: The beach at the resort is fabulous (as all Puerto Rican beaches are) and very easy to access either by car (5 minutes) or by foot (15 minutes). The people who work at the hotel and on the resort grounds are all delightful and accommodating, helping with chairs and umbrellas for anyone regardless of whether you are actually hotel guests or just guests at the resort. Arturo has boogie boards and beach chairs and plenty of towels. We did not use a golf cart. Suggestion: One thought is to have a book for guests with details like where to leave the garbage (outside in the underground bins), local suggestions for restaurants, how to work the televisions etc. Not a big deal, but just a thought for the future. All in all a superb getaway from the New England snow and ice. Thank you!

Very Pleasant Stay Lots of Rooms

Amazing Retreat, Ideally Located, Fantastic Host!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property during our vacation to Puerto Rico, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The location was perfect—just a short walk to stunning beaches, offered an array of amenities, and is conveniently close to local restaurants and attractions. The property itself was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved spending mornings sipping coffee on the patio, the beautiful weather, and evenings soaking in the breathtaking sunset views. Arturo, our host, was a highlight of the trip. work and family trip

The property is exactly as advertised. The host was super responsive to any requests and has a lot of contacts for tours or other information for the area. I had both work and family staying and it was perfect for both. Sun comes up early in PR so even though there are shades in each room a sleeping mask helped those sensitive to light to sleep as long as they would like. I will be back to this rental

Quick Weekend Away

Family trip outside of metro area. It’s 45 minutes to the airport. Grocery stores and fast food about 10 minutes away. Great restaurant on the property and even better at the Hyatt. Beaches close by as well as atv and YUNQUE. The house was spacious, clean, and ac worked well. It is safe with two secured entrances to enter the property. Host was informative and the house had everything you need.

Great house! Larger than we thought it would be.

The 7 of us were very comfortable in this house. The location was not ideal as we did not rent a car and taxis are expensive to get around. The main hotel and beach is a half hour walk. The pool is close by and quiet, which was very nice. Overall, the house was as described, and the host was helpful. I recommend renting a car and getting very specific instructions of how to navigate the property before arriving.

Puerto Rico is magical - beautiful beaches, charming Old San Juan, rain-forest adventures, pirate caves - truly something for everyone. We loved our time there. Arturo the property manager was incredibly warm and responsive. We will be back to this incredible island!

Spring Break

The area and location are great. Golf cart recommended as we didn’t have one but seems to be the way to get around the property. Arturo is very responsive and makes you feel appreciated. The AC unit in the master didn’t work and he got someone over to fix it as soon as they could get there and get the parts needed. Overall, it’s a nice property. There are a few updates I feel would be needed to bring it up to date but Arturo alone makes you feel welcome and appreciated so that’s a huge plus. I would stay again in the future when I visit again.

Lovely house in great gated resort

First- we loved our stay! Glitches in directions and gate keepers speaking little english was problematic getting in- cluster 4 is NOT marked at gate (look for Foursome Towers & next gates yours). Arturo was a responsive host. No golf cart after many tries to get it working. But all is just a good walk or short car drive away. I hope to visit again SOON

Family getaway

Great condo for 2 families to split slept 8 comfortably . The courses are not pull out and would only sleep children . We paid to sleep 2 more on couches and linens were not provided until the 3rd night so be sure to ask for those. You definitely need a golf cart to enjoy the resort amenities- golf, tennis, beach as this condos is located a distance from all and there are hills . Arturo the manger was responsive and helpful both as we planned and during our stay . I should mention He offered to refund us the 2 nights without bedding for the couches which was fair. The condo has beach towels , boogie boards and a large cooler for the beach which were all used. We would come back for sure !

Cozy family - friendly villa

This was a very cozy villa located inside the Rio Mar Wyndham Resort. An approximate two minute drive to the beach. There was a large pool with security. The beach was clean with lots of seating available. This was a great family - friendly resort with excellent eateries near the resort. The owner was very communicative, responsive and a gracious host. The villa was comfortable and clean with ample space. I would definitely recommend.

Potential to be a great property

I will start by saying this condo has the potential to be a lovely property. It is in a convenient location with a 5 minute walk to the beach. The pool was uncrowded and small but nice. The property manager mentioned there were renovations going on. I asked what we should expect. He said it was just painting to the outside of the building. However, we arrived to puddles of blue liquid on the stair case that was leaking from the walls from a renovation that was going on. Someone cleaned it the first day, but the puddles returned everyday. We had to clean ourselves them as they were a hazard to slipping on the stairs. We arrived 2 hours after the official check in time and the condo was not ready. It was still being cleaned and there were no sheets on one of the beds. The person was apologetic about getting a late start. After reporting all of this to the property manager he did offer to give us a full refund if we wanted to leave. However, it is difficult to figure out a new place to stay once you are already there. We decided to stay. He did offer us a discount, which we appreciated. They do charge a deposit up front even if you get damage insurance. It did take 1 1/2 weeks after our departure to get our refund and I had to inquire about it a couple of times. Once the renovations are done, this will be a lovely place, but while the work is going on I'm not sure it should be rented.
