Town: Carbis Bay, a seaside community in St Ives, is well known for its stunning stretch of sugar-white sand beach. The beach has a tropical vibe thanks to its turquoise waves and sheltered location, making it ideal for a relaxing day at the beach. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Center, so if sunbathing isn't your thing, why not rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and head out on the water? For a truly luxurious experience, why not book yourself a day at the luxurious hotel, which overlooks the beach and has a lovely terrace from where you can sip your cocktails? Carbis Bay is home to a handful of small businesses and eateries, as well as a fish-and-chip takeaway and a branch line of the railway.
