Very kind host. Extremely clean apartment. Loved cooking in the kitchen. Appreciated the washing machine. Convenient location close to the sea, grocery store, restaurants. Spent most of our time there on the balcony, enjoying the views after exploring the towns.

If you are looking at this listing and thinking about going to Monterosso, book it now! So many times rental owners oversell their apartments, in this case the photo's and description literally don't do it justice.First of all, Paolo, the owner, was incredible to work with. He was immediate with replies, friendly and helpful. He even met us outside the apartment, showed us how to get in and gave us a tour of the place. You can tell he's incredibly proud of his apartment! And the welcome gift was a nice touch!We are a family of 4 with two teenagers, the apartment had tons of space for us all. The living room/kitchen are huge, bright and welcoming. The kitchen is fully stocked for anything you could need, but with so many great food choices in the area you'll likely not be cooking at home. The patio is large and overlooks the sea and the main square by the waterfront. Bathroom is very large for Italian apartment standards. All newly redone and modern. Master bedroom was perfectly sized with loads of storage space for clothes, etc. The second bedroom was a little tighter with the two single beds, but was perfect for the kids to sleep and store their stuff.The location is amazing - steps from the waterfront. 2 minutes from the public beach, minutes from amazing food options and a short walk to the old part of town with loads more dining and shopping options.Overall, an outstanding VRBO unit and highly recommend it and Paolo for your vacation!

This was one of the highlights of our time in Italy.The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally well equipped. The air conditioning was an absolute lifesaver during the July heat, the kitchen had everything we needed, and having both a washing machine and a generous clothesline made keeping up with laundry effortless.What truly sets this property apart, though, is the host. He greeted us personally on arrival, welcomed us with wine and limoncello from his own collection, and shared excellent recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and local experiences. His warmth and generosity immediately made us feel at home.The location is outstanding. The train station is just a short walk away, several excellent restaurants and a market are literally outside the front door, and the terrace off the kitchen quickly became one of our favorite places to relax. Waking up to the view of the sea from the primary bedroom was an unexpected bonus.Wi-Fi was generally adequate during our stay, and when it occasionally slowed, we had excellent 5G coverage as a backup.The only thing future guests should know is that the apartment is very close to the railway line, so passing trains can be noticeable at times. For us, that was an easy trade-off given how convenient the location is - we would choose this apartment again without hesitation.

Delightful

Paolo and Maria’s apartment was perfect for our Cinque Terre stay. It is roomy, nicely decorated and even has a view of the sea! It’s an easy walk from the train station and even has an elevator. We would stay here again!

We loved it!

Thanks to Paolo for his big,clean apartment in Monterosso! The location was perfect and it was nice to wash some clothes in the washer. He had everything ready for us but we didn't feel like cooking so didn't use much. We will hopefully return to the CT again and will stay here!

Wonderful Stay in Monterosso

We had an amazing time at the apartment. The pictures accurately depicted the place. Paolo provided clear directions from the train station, and it's just a short 5-minute walk. He warmly welcomed us at the apartment and gave us a tour. The wine and limoncello he gifted us were truly delightful. The apartment is in a fantastic location, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver. The washing machine and drying rack on the balcony came in very handy. If you have the opportunity to stay there, you definitely won't be disappointed.

Paolo met us at the property and was so welcoming and friendly. He generously gave us a bottle of his homemade wine and a bottle of limonella. The property itself was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, 17,15 and 13). The kitchen had all the things we needed. Beach towels were provided. The location is a 5 min walk from the train station. There is a lovely balcony which we enjoyed with a view of the water. It is near the train tracks but when inside the unit we didn’t notice the trains.

Immaculate apartment, gracious hosts, amazing amenities, steps from the beach

Paolo and Maria are simply lovely people. They have put so much thought and care into the design and layout of the apartment. The beds are some of the best we’ve ever slept on. They greeted us like family, even leaving us a bottle of their family’s own Cinque Terre wine. Maria gave us a bottle of her mother’s very own limoncello. Amenities went above and beyond what was listed. We were a family of 5. We had beach towels and umbrellas, an Italian coffee press, even an immersion blender. Maria and Paolo, well done and going above and beyond for your guests in every way. We would recommend this stay to everyone!!!

Just book this place now!

We had an amazing stay here – our only regret was that it was only for three nights! The place is newly renovated and incredibly clean. We were left a basket of pastries and other treats, a bottle of white wine, and some homemade limoncello - which was a lovely, personal touch. There are tons of dishes and glassware, pots and pans, and really everything you need for a wonderful stay. The AC works really well and the location is so convenient - just a short walk to the beach and there is a great little grocer downstairs. And the beds were some of the most comfortable beds we slept in during our entire 17 night stay in Italy. This place is a tremendous value, and I can’t recommend it enough. We had a hard time deciding which town in the Cinque Terre we wanted to stay, and we are so happy that we picked Monterosso. We really loved the vibe there and how easy it was to walk around the town. There are such great restaurants, and there is so much to do. And you actually get a sandy beach! One tip: if you want to go to the beach clubs – get down there early to reserve chairs. They can be booked up as early as 10 AM (we were there at the end of June). And bring eye pillows and ear plugs. The apartment is bright, and you are close to the train, but I slept well all three nights!

Perfect spot in Monterrosso. Great views from the master and patio. Grocery store downstairs and steps from Mikys. Definitely will come back here.
