Located in Haute Garonne (Midi Pyrenees) and set in an acre and a half of farmland, Gite31.com has a large heated pool and stunning views, set in a rural tranquil setting, allowing sole occupancy, sunny weather, fine wine and modern amenities. Sleeps up to 6, 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs, tastefully decorated with all mod cons including a well-stocked kitchen, patio area, gas BBQ and an Alexa to guide you around the local area. Exclusive use of the large heated pool with modern garden furniture. A south-facing garden with stunning uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. The garden is fenced in with safe space for dogs who visit us. The owner's property is connected to the gite but both have their own private entrances.
Note: the Wi-Fi is free and unlimited off a 4G box. This provides fast and stable internet for those that need to unfortunately work while away. We accept pets at €50 per stay. Please message the owner before booking if you intend to hold a party.

Comfortable and well equipped gite

It was very hot when we visited so the very well equipped and cool sitting room (plus an excellent pool) was most welcome. Nice touches throughout eg providing shower gel, shampoo etc and large pool towels which is not a common occurrence. Area is very quiet and peaceful - bucolic probably sums it up. Very helpful owners.

Very peaceful getaway in rural location, great pool and great views from the property

Very friendly hosts Simon and Rachel were excellent communicators before, during and after our trip. Gite 31 was exactly as described with its excellent pool, games room and beautiful gardens. The property is rural so a car is vital to get around. We particularly enjoyed the late evening glass of wine watching amazing sunsets whilst listening to the sound of the church bells ring across the valley.

Beautiful holiday with a great pool and a wonderful view

We (a family with three children and a dog) had a very nice holiday at Gite 31. The hosts Rachel and Simon are very friendly and helpful and made for a very pleasant stay. The accommodation is very quiet and comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect seaside holiday with a pool. The hosts provided us with plenty for leisure activities: Pool animals, bicycles, football with football goals, tennis rackets etc. The free tennis court is only 5 minutes away from the accommodation. We really enjoyed the evening barbecue with the wonderful view of the hills. We felt very comfortable and would recommend the accommodation at any time!

A wonderful week in rural France

Our whole family really enjoyed our stay at Gite31. The views are fabulous, the pool warm enough to swim in all weathers, the gite is very well-equipped and the wood burner was most welcome on the cooler days. Our daughters loved the pool, the swing and the PlayStation and we enjoyed the stunning sunsets, the games and the Netflix access. The bikes were also very well-maintained and allowed us to explore the area fully. We found some fabulous restaurants nearby and so lovely to have views of the Pyrenees on our trips out. Thanks to Simon and Rachel for all the comms before and during our week. Shout out for the chickens too and their delicious eggs. Highly recommended.

Beautiful gîte, superb hosts

We enjoyed a wonderful summer break at Gîte 31! Absolutely everything we needed was provided (and more besides!) and our hosts, Rachel and Simon were very friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for us; lovely and quiet, but towns and villages are within easy driving distances. We enjoyed some wonderful day trips (eg San Sebastian, Lourdes ) but we could have just stayed at the gîte and enjoyed the gorgeous large pool every single day. The clubhouse with games provided was great fun, and when the sun went down after a day sunbathing, the sunsets were magical. Everything was lovely and clean - the pool in particular was kept spotless. So many memories made, and lots of relaxation had - we would highly recommend.

Una gran estancia con un anfitrión perfecto

La casa es un anexo a la casa principal "La maison des volets verts", una preciosidad remodelada para comodidad de los dueños, que están justo al lado, y de los huéspedes. Está en un paisaje maravilloso que vimos en total verdor primaveral, aunque también nos llovió y supongo que eso afecta al uso más intensivo de todos los espacios y que acercarse a cualquier pueblecito desde allí precisa 20 minutos de coche. Genial para aislarse y curarse del estrés. La recepción fue perfecta y agradecemos mucho a Simon su ayuda en todo momento, igual que a Rachel. No pudimos aprovechar la piscina climatizada por la lluvia pero sí el hot tub que es estupendo. Gracias por prever los albornoces y las zapatillas! Se nota que piensan en el huesped y en todo lo necesario para que pueda cocinar, estar y disfrutar. Si no podemos las 5 estrellas, que seguro que las merecen, es porque el colchón era blando para descansar pero estoy segura que lo cambiarán, porque los dueños están pendientes de todos estos detalles. Lo mismo con la cocina/horno que estaba estropeada y la habían sustituido por una mucho más rudimentaria a cambio (fue mala suerte, seguro que en dos días está la buena). No dudaríamos en volver aquí en verano precisando que la piscina se comparte con la otra casa en la ficha. Muchísimas gracias por vuestra amabilidad otra vez más, sois los mejores.

Thank you for your review, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and had the chance to relax and unwind albeit the weather was a little changeable. Our rural setting provides the opportunity for people to leave their busy lives at home for a few days. I’m sorry that you found the bed a little soft, not something anyone has ever mentioned before. As far as the cooker is concerned, we still await the new one, which was damaged on delivery! We would love to welcome you back to Gite 31 again - please note that you would have exclusive use of the heated pool and all other facilities as we only rent out one property at a time.

Great gite, lovely location

Simon and Rachel couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. The gite was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The garden was just right for us and our dog. And the views and sunsets stunning.

Séjour très agréable

Le gite, qui a été en partie refait récemment, est décoré avec goût. La vue est magnifique et le coucher de soleil, dont on peut profiter sur les chaises longues en prenant l’aperitif, est inoubliable. La piscine est très grande et entretenue par les propriétaires qui habitent sur place. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

We (Simon and Rachel) had visited France for over 20 years and fell in love with the stunning views and pace of life in Midi Pyrenees. Our aims and ambitions were to create both a home for ourselves, but also a place where we could make memories for friends and visitors. Our mantra has been quality, not quantity. It took 20 years because when we bought it we wanted it perfect from year one (plus we didn't have the money!). Those sacrifices have paid off with the well-appointed gite, however also so much to do on-site. Rachel is a qualified, practicing interior designer of 20 years and fluent in French while Simon does not add much to the party apart from being the handyman and all-around good guy!
