Enjoy the relaxed, contemporary feel of this spacious apartment, set in an elevated position in Mortehoe village, with sea views and only a mile from the beach. Itâs an ideal family destination (and dog-friendly, too) for exploring the delights of North Devon.
Generously sized living spaces with high ceilings and charming period features combine with lovely furnishings and modern styling to create a holiday property with huge appeal. The airy kitchen/diner has original floorboards and a huge bay window - the perfect spot for the dining table, a place to linger while admiring the views. After supper head through to the gorgeous lounge, where a variety of seating, including an L-shaped velvet sofa, surrounds a Smart TV. This convivial space also has books, an ornamental fireplace and more of those fabulous sea views. Two of the three bedrooms are on this level: a king-size with distant sea views and an en-suite shower room, and a twin room with Jack-and-Jill-style access to the family bathroom (both doors can be locked). The third bedroom, with bunk beds, is on the lower-ground floor, as well as a basement area with a tumble dryer and storage for surfboards and wetsuits. Outside, you have a private garden with a patio and lawned area to the side of the property, as well as access to a large, shared garden.
The pretty village of Mortehoe has pubs, a small shop, tea rooms and a restaurant, while lively Woolacombe is just 1 mile away, with a wider choice of pubs, cafes, shops and, of course, its fabulous 3-mile stretch of golden beach. Stroll the coast path and enjoy breathtaking views across the sea to Lundy Island. The family attractions of Watermouth Castle, Combe Martin Wildlife Park and Ilfracombe Aquarium are all within 12 miles.
