Florenz Stadt der Medici

Wir waren mit unserem Apartment vollauf zufrieden und können es nur wärmstens Empfehlen. Die zentrale Lage, die Sauberkeit und die Räumlichkeiten an sich Liesen nichts zu wünschen übrig. Vom Fenster hat man einen großartigen Ausblick auf die Dom Kuppel, die sich über die Häuserdächer erhebt. Der Empfang sowie die Betreuung waren herzlich, wir können dieses Apartment nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Good location at San Marco. The small room is pretty loud. The interior is basic Ikea. It is very clean. Everything you need is there. Two bathrooms is good. The view from the balcony is really nice. Thanks.

Gemütliches Wohnen in zentraler Lage

Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben. W-LAN funktionierte gut. Die Übergabe erfolgte pünktlich zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt. Direkt vor der Haustür passieren Busse in versch. Richtungen, u.a. nach Fiesole. Zum Bahnhof sind es nur ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Auch die sonstigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Im Haus gibt es unten ein Restaurant, in welchem man als Wohngast Rabatt erhält. Die Wohnung ist nur durch Treppen zugänglich, kein Aufzug. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und können das Feriendomizil guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

I felt so happy in this wonderful flat

Contact: Elisabetta is very polite and friendly! With questions she quickly answers by mail. For the establishment of contact I have used translation facilities. Cooperatively she has ordered to me a taxi for the departure day what I am very grateful for. Size and equipment: The flatlet is very spacious and is big enough even with 6 people. The equipment is very elegant and modern. Extremly great is the small balcony (in the direction of south directed) from which one has a great look at the Duomo! Kitchen: The kitchen has everything what one urgently needs. Cleanness: The flat is clean. The provided bedding and the towels were flawless. Wifi and TV: The Wifi has functioned really well! Merely one could receive no satellite transmitter (SAT map exists, but the distant tax apparatus is absent?!). About DVB T one receives Italian transmitters. Result: If I liked to visit Florence once again, I want to live in this flat! I have spent four wonderful weeks in Florence to which this flatlet has contributed a large part. A very cozy and beautifully located apartment

We enjoyed a wonderful week in this ideally located and very well equipped apartment. The owners are absolutely charming and very helpful. Thank you for making our stay in Florence so comfortable! Next time we travel to Florence we hope to stay in this apartment again.

Gemütliche und schicke Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sie ist schön eingerichtet, sauber und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Ich hatte etwas Bedenken wegen den Dachfenstern im Schlafzimmer und in der Küche, aber die Zimmer waren dann doch nicht klaustrophobisch, und die elektronische Bedienung war auch leicht und bequem. Das größere Schlafzimmer und das Wohnzimmer sind total ruhig, aber in dem Kleinerem (mit einem Etagenbett) hört man den Straßenlärm von Piazza San Marco, aber man ist ja mitten in der Stadt. Und von der Piazza hat man gute Busverbindungen überall hin. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Balkon mit einem Blick auf den Dom. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, und die Abwicklung hat sehr gut geklappt. Ich hätte die Wohnung schon erneut reservieren wollen, aber leider war sie schon vergeben!

Elisabetta was a great host. She met us right when we got there. She also gave us a discount card to use at the restaurant below. I loved this place! It was my favorite place so far! My husband and I had our two teens with us and it was so nice that we had our own bed/bath and they had theirs! The place is big! It has a balcony with a great view and is in an excellent location. It has a lot of stairs to get to it but the balcony view makes it worth it. I highly recommend this place.

The place is exactly as shown in the photos. The bunk bed is doable for adults, and the location is convenient—about a 15 minute walk from the train station, with great places to eat right below. It’s also about 20 minutes from the river. The owner communicates well. The space could use a bit of TLC, and if you plan to cook, note that some basic essentials (oil, coffee, paper towels) are not provided.

This is a great place to stay if you have an early morning flight out of Florence. The tram running directly to the airport is steps away from the apartment. The apartment is so close to great restaurants and tourist attractions. It's important to note that it is on the 3rd floor, so many stairs. It's a small, simple apartment, but comfortable for 4 people.

Let me begin by saying that I have never in my life left a negative review; If I don't have something nice to say about an experience, I don't say anything at all. However, I need to make an exception here as a matter of principle. We picked this apartment based on its perfect location. It's nothing fancy, but we could definitely deal with that. What was really bothersome is the strong sewage smell that was extremely evident as soon as you entered the space. I mentioned it to the host while we were there, and she must have addressed it, because the smell did get better. That only lasted a day or so and then it returned. We all dealt with it but unfortunately, we were anxious to check out for this reason alone. When we returned home and were unpacking, all of our clothes and belongings smelled like sewage! I called VRBO to explain the situation, and I happened to mention that perhaps the smell was due to construction in the building. It was then that I was told that doing work to a property while a guest is present is against VRBO policy. As directed, I reached out directly to the host. She unfortunately refused to provide any compensation. She also blatantly lied about the work being done and called it "light painting". It was painting, varnishing, loud drilling, and sanding causing lots of dust in the stairwell. There was also an extension cord hanging from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor, an obvious safety hazard. What is most upsetting is that she is not being honest. :(

Amazing stay in Florence. We loved the apartment and the amazing view and location. After 8 days of navigating around France and Italy, to be able to get off the train, get onto one tram directly to our apartment was an absolute dream. Check in was straight forward and easy. Isabella gave us a business card for the restaurant directly downstairs and the food was delicious and the service was friendly. We could walk to everything-the Galleria dell'Accademia was literally around the corner, making an early morning visit to the David relaxing and enjoyable. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back.

This apartment is in a perfect location for exploring Florence. Perfect size for a family. We used the left luggage facility at nearby Bounce, as it wasn't possible to store our bags in the apartment.

First time in Florence

Excellent location, very close to main attractions, but very outdated property. Walls are dirty, kitchen cabinets smell. We didn’t feel welcome and home, every wall had instructions with a lot of restrictions. Second bedroom is very small, master bathroom is tiny. Coffee maker didn’t even have filters , I know it’s not part of the rental agreement, but this little things make a difference. I am not going to stay there again.

Great Stay in Florence

Fantastic apartment! It had everything as advertised—two comfortable bedrooms, two clean bathrooms, and even a washing machine that worked perfectly. The location was ideal. The tram stopped right in front of the building, and we were just around the corner from Michelangelo’s David at the Accademia Gallery. There were tons of great restaurants just steps away, which made dining out easy. We would absolutely stay here again!

Location, location, location

Wonderful views and steps away from the old city. The property is on the third floor with no elevator but generally worth the climb. If you are four adults, be aware that the second bedroom has bunk beds that are geared more for children than adults but doable. The place is funky, but dated with eclectic furniture, but the ambiance more than makes up for its imperfections
