Casetta Annina by Wonderful Italy
Casetta Annina is a typical Apulian house, furnished in modern style and great attention to detail and design, located a short distance from the main square of the historic center of Ostuni.
It is spread over two levels, the first (mezzanine floor) consists of a large living area with sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower; a staircase in the living room leads to a second living room, located on the lower floor, with kitchenette and sofa.
Casetta Annina has air conditioning only in the living area on the second floor, washing machine and dishwasher.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral (600 meters from the apartment) that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.
Brindisi (30 minutes) and Bari (60 minutes) are the closest airports to Ostuni.
