Great location

Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria. Very close to lots of good restaurants, whilst being in an area which is very quiet. Welcome pack on arrival was excellent and included everything we needed considering that we arrived late in the evening.

Relaxing stay in a lovely Cypriot village

Clean, spacious bungalow apartment with lovely garden and pool. Short walk up the hill to the restaurant and cafe’s or a 2 minute car ride if you don’t fancy the hill! Very welcoming and accommodating owner - quiet neighbourhood and cooler than being in the coastal area and bustle.

Clean and comfortable

We stayed in Villa Maria which is the single story villa, it was very clean on arrival and we had a comfortable stay. The pool was lovely, the area was quiet but close to Kathekas shops. It was an enjoyable visit and we hope to return next summer.

Wonderful holiday

Demi was brilliant at responding to messages. Villa was perfect, especially the pool. Kathikas is a great little town, nice restaurants and bars within walking distance and such friendly people. Lots to do nearby, only wish we'd booked for 2 weeks.

Great Villa, lovely big grounds with fruit trees, pool area is lovely. Has everything you could need. As it located in the mountains it is cooler than in the town and beach areas. Host were the most friendly people. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you again!

Relaxing break

Very peaceful villa in the mountains on the outskirts of Kathikas village. All the restaurants are walkable and we had some great meals at Mezhn (traditional Greek) and the Farmyard (Asian/Greek) restaurants. A car is essential and recommend stocking up at Philippos at Coral Bay it’s the biggest supermarket around, although there are smaller shops in Kathikas. Maria and Demi are very friendly and great hosts highly recommended.

Lovely

Lovely Villa very spacious and clean. Excellent location just a short walk into Kathikas village very quiet location. Kathikas has a great selection of tavernas serving excellent food, recommend Imogens, Fytos Grill and Petradaki especially. Located just a short drive from Latchi, coral bay and only 30mins from Kato Paphos. Owner always on hand if any issues and very friendly. Would definitely go back again in the future.

6 People - Vacation in Paphos

We were 6 people in our group and had a very nice stay at the villa. It’s located in a great spot, within walking distance from the village of Kathikas (a lovely small village), where we had access to Taverns, shops and pubs. The village is located close to the south of Paphos and also pretty close to the northern side of the island. A car rental is a must and the positioning offers a great advantage for day trips to either side of the island. The house was clean, and had everything we needed. A great pool and a nice barbecue to enjoy some of the evenings. The hosts were fantastic, very welcoming and lovely to chat with.

Perfect holiday break

First of all, we'd like to thank Demi and her family for such a wonderful welcome and the use of their property, they're a credit to Owners Direct. We booked the villa within 2 days of flying out to Cyprus and the response from Demi was very fast. We also arrived slightly early so the villa was still being prepared to the highest standards set by Demi's mother, Maria. We'd had a long journey and we were hot and tired, but the family welcomed us into their own home (next door), gave us full use of their facilities and shared their lovely home cooked lunch with us, before chatting like we were old friends! The villa itself was nice and quiet, well presented and very clean. A well developed garden with trees meant that the house stayed cool and comfortable, despite it being 34 degrees outside. The location is near the village of Kathikas, a short walk away, and being up in the mountains meant it was cooler and less humid than the coastal towns. A car is essential for traveling to the beach and bigger shopping stores, however we spent most of the time relaxing by the pool during our 4 day stay. Maria had also stocked the kitchen with essentials, including a few items in the fridge, which was a very nice surprise. As regular travelers to Cyprus, it was a lovely villa and we can't rate the service highly enough. Thank you Demi and family, we'll be back! Rachel & Janie

Disappointing

Was advertised as a "Mountain Side Luxury Villa" but on arrival it was very obvious that this was not the case . Mountain Side yes but LUXURY definitely not. The inside furnishings were very sparse, old, dated and very unwelcoming and NO homely touches. There was a wire for the internet that was hanging from one side of the room to the other across the patio doors .Apart from looking an eyesore it was also a trip hazard. Kitchen again old and tired . Bathroom shower heads all need replacing. Shelves, towel rails and toilet roll holders all loose . Fly screens all ripped. Towels that were provided were clean but again old threadbare and in need of replacing . The outside patio furniture again all miss matched dirty and old . Sun loungers dirty and only one cushion to 6 beds . Chairs for outside patio table did not go with the table and were plastic, cheap, nasty and uncomfortable . Two out of the three parasols were working and mismatched .The BBQ was again old and in need of replacing. The pool had a green scum line that we thought would be cleaned when the pool cleaners came but wasn't done until their second visit which was the day before we left . To conclude this villa is mis advertised as a "LUXURY" Villa and was certainly NOT worth the money we paid for our stay. The photos on VRBO are not true reflection of the villa. There was no tourist information what so ever at the villa

Logement très propre, très fonctionnel, très calme avec possibilité de rentrer la voiture dans l’allée de la villa Les seuls points un peu négatifs sont le bruit de la climatisation car il y a un gros bruit de vibrations environ toutes les heures Ensuite, il n’y a pas de volet sur les fenêtres. Du coup comme les rideaux sont peu occultants la lumière passe à travers Je tiens, à souligner que lors de notre arrivée tardive, l hôte avez accueilli avec de l’eau des glaçons et kit de petit déjeuner pour le lendemain matin c’était top. Nous recommandons donc cette villa où nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances

Lovely, bright, clean house with nice views

A lovely villa that is very spacious and fully equipped. We stayed here with the family (two adults and four children). One must have a car when since good connections are missing. Close to the city of Polis and the beaches of Peyia. The pool and garden were very nice and well-used. The place is very relaxing, unfortunately the noise level from all grasshoppers was difficult to avoid and something the children didn't like. Otherwise, this is highly recommended. The owners Demi and her mother both responded very quickly to any problems / issues we had and got things sorted in a caring and professional manner.

Happy Holidays

My family and I stayed in the Bungalow Villa (Villa Maria) and can say we were very happy with it. There was not too much to complain about at all. The bungalow is spacious and was very clean for our arrival. The little welcome pack of food, tea and fruit was a nice little addition too. Any problems or questions we had were answered straight away. Demi and her mother were definitely accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Overall very happy
