The architecture of the House is contemporary in design, characterized by large spaces, in a minimalist layout that places the landscape & surrounding mountains in the forefront, with amazing vistas from every room.

The spacious holiday home can accommodate families up to 8 members. It consists of 4 separate bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a living room. Three of the bedrooms are en-suite and enjoy privacy. The home is equipped with a Gourmet kitchen, fully fitted for all your self-catering needs.

This holiday home is a sportsman’s paradise. Guests can enjoy jogging, hiking, cycling or mountain biking nearby, or make the most of the pool and sun terrace from where you can enjoy scenic sunsets and clear starry nights.

An exceptional home in a setting of unmatched natural beauty, an ideal haven of peace and relaxation, which welcomes those who seek nature for company.

Porto Valinhos House is a short drive to the Douro river, where you can find cafés, world-class restaurants, local taverna dining and sample amazing Douro region wines. All while enjoying views of the river. Damage deposit: 650€ is due, in cash, at the check-in. The deposit will be transferred 24 hours after property verification (if no damage occurs). We enjoyed our time in Sophia home. The place is thoughtfully put together and only essential items. Our group enjoyed the pool, the extra toys in the garage and space to relax. Perfect get away from the city.

Beautiful setting near Porto

We enjoyed the peaceful setting and well equipped kitchen. A few extra comforts would be nice. Like extra bed pillows, towels and some basic items like hand soap, shampoo, paper towels, salt, pepper, and sugar. The host was lovely and very helpful and kind.

Our family and our friends family had an unforgettable stay at this lovely home! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease by Sofia who was very helpful and responsive. The location is absolutely stunning, peaceful, surrounded by nature, and a great place to truly unwind as a family. It felt safe, quiet, and private, which made it ideal for the kids to play.The house was clean, spacious, and very well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A highlight for all of us was definitely the swimming pool, it was clean overlooking the forest and provided endless fun.We loved ending our days watching the most beautiful sunset. This house offered tranquility while being family-friendly.We made wonderful memories here and are planning to come back. Highly recommended for families!

Great villa

We had a fantastic holiday at this modern well equipped villa in a very quiet location., exactly what we needed. Not too far from Porto. Although we were a small group of 5, there is lots of space for a large group. Well equipped, we did not lack anything. Sofia is a great host, responsive to queries. Secure and private but not remote.

Amazing House!

This is really an amazing property located in the middle of a National Park. We loved being away from Porto and yet so close to visit there and the Douro Valley as well. It is a beautiful home and Sophia couldn't be more helpful and gracious. We took hikes up into the park area for fantastic views, loved having a laundry available to us, a garage, beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Bedrooms had plenty of space with closets and open areas. It truly felt like home. Sophia was amazing and we would love to return.

Really nice property

We had great time. It is very stylish, modern and unusual property. There is everything you need. It is a place to remember. A few marks. It is close to highway and you can hear it. The garbage containers are far from the property and you have to go to throw it with your car full of garbage bags, really unpleasant experience. There is no soap to wash your hands, so you have to bring it. The towels are a bit out dated and doesn’t correspond with the class of the property. But overall it is a great place and can only recommend it.

Porto was beautiful & the property was spacious enough for a large group - like ours - & overall, we enjoyed our stay. Albeit, we were a little disappointed with a few things; considering the size and total cost of the rental, there were no basics when we arrived late in the evening - inc. handwash, cleaning products, laundry detergent, spare toilet paper, no items in the first-aid kit, salt/pepper/oil, etc. We appreciate it’s a rental, and never expected it to be stocked entirely, but having to purchase many of these items additionally for a 7-night stay - when some of them are needed in order to use features within the villa - was frustrating. The designated bins are also a significant distance from the property. Think the above is worth bearing in mind when considering a stay, but we’d still recommend the location. Thank you!

From the first inquiry in the booking process, Sofia was very responsive and provided clear answers to my questions. When we arrived, she was there to greet us and give us an overview of the property, explaining all its features. A small grocery is close by. Wifi coverage is excellent. Sofia is friendly, thoughtful, and happy to help if you need anything. She loves to help you discover and enjoy all that the area has to offer. During our trip, a family member fell ill, and Sofia was extremely helpful. The home feels like a retreat. It's spotlessly clean, minimalist and yet well stocked and extremely comfortable. The layout is perfect: a great blend of comfortable spaces to enjoy time together, and enough room to retreat to the privacy of a bedroom, the garden, or pool. Every room has a beautiful view. The outdoor areas are gorgeous and practical: picnic table, some cozy spaces with chairs and tables to enjoy a coffee or drink and watch the sunrise or sunset. We appreciated having a washer and dryer. Everything worked perfectly. There are plenty of easily accessible walking trails, and the beautiful forest is just steps away. It is so peaceful! This home is the perfect combination of accessible and private. It was easy to get to Porto and surrounding areas for day trips. We’ll definitely try to book again next time we’re in the area. Impractical house

Upon arrival was surprised to see there is a cash deposit required make sure to read all the small print. Be ready to arrive after 5pm to a house that has NO basic necessities such as toilet paper, napkins, salt, pepper, dish soap, or even trash bags! You must drive to the nearest store to purchase all basic necessities. Entrance of home is difficult to get to. The entrance of the house is located in the back, you have to walk uphill on GRAVEL (driving on gravel not allowed). You have to drag your luggage thru the gravel into the home. The house is cold, you cannot adjust temperature as only the owner has access to this. No extra blankets, no extra towels, no extra sheets. Only one per person for your ENTIRE stay. Bathrooms are open floor plan with showers completely open in the bedroom without any privacy. Beds on the floor as shown in pics. I advise you to zoom in pictures and see all the unnecessary steps and bed boards the same color tone which makes depth perception difficult and prone to injuries.Electrical power very low, Electricity goes out with a hair dryer. We were left without power about 2 hours in the cold of December in the mountains 40 degrees F. No electricity means no water as well in Portugal. Bbq pit not allowed to be used in the winter.Dangerous house for children and elders, unnecessary steps everywhere in the same color tone.

Very poor experience with this guest. Damaged the propriety and denied causing the damaged (Wc door and kitchen balcony broken). I DO NOT recommend hosting this traveler.

Ein Erlebnis

Eine wunderschöne, stylische Villa auf einem riesen Grundstück. Für unseren Kleinen war der tolle Pool das Highlight, er bracht Stunden darin zu.Die Villa ist toll ausgestattet, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die "Konsumgüter" muss man natürlich kaufen, ist ja klar.Alles hat bestens geklappt, Sophia ind Ihr Mann haben uns herzlich empfangen, uns alles erklärt und auch der Check-Out war reibungslos.Sehr empfehlenswert!

Awesome house in the outskirts of Porto

We had a great time in this house which is about 15 minutes from Porto. We were surprised that we could even see the Atlantic Ocean on a clear day. Sofia gave us a friendly welcome and showed us around, gave us tips on shopping and local contacts like a cab service. We felt comfortable at all times and if we had any questions Sofia was there for us. We would be happy to visit the house again.

Séjour remarquable , Sofia la propriétaire des lieux est très sympathique et accueillante. Maison très pratique à vivre , dommage ça manque un peu de verdure mais je pense pour éviter les feux et l’entretien . Je recommande 👍
