Bright and spacious apartment on the doorstep of the main sights of Catania

We had an amazing stay here with 2 children. The apartment is clean, bright and air conditioned and well-equipped. We loved the terrace and that it’s so quiet despite having a central location. Everything is just a few minutes away. The book shop/café next door serves fantastic food, cakes and coffee. We’d definitely come back here again. Thank you to Iolanda who has been very helpful throughout our stay. :)

Easy access to explore Catania Centre

Very nice, spacious apartment. Certainly not the quietest, but that’s the trade-off for staying in the city center. It has the feel of living like a local which was nice. Easy base to go exploring on foot. Street parking only which was sometimes very easy and sometimes difficult. One of the bathrooms was not usable, which was disappointing but they offered a small discount in the end, after a few reminders. They tried to charge us to have pillows on more than one bed which was strange. Do not expect fast or clear communication from hosts, but still manageable. Other than that it’s a great value if both bathrooms work!

Unhappy in Catania

The apartment itself was very nice but it was listed as having 2 bathrooms. I was notified 8 days before arriving that 1 bathroom would be unavailable due to repairs. I requested a refund so I could book another apartment but was denied. It was told I would get a partial refund after my stay which hasn’t happened as of yet.
