Just what we hoped for

Just as stated, nice and clean and stocked with most things, minus food. Easy access to beach too which was the highest on our list.

We really enjoyed our stay & liked the condo. Had a good view of the ocean which was really nice. Destin is a great place to vacation with the family. Was also able to contact owner/property manager by text which was great.

Great Weekend visit

All the way from Cali, my family came in to enjoy my airman’s 21st b-day! The property was outstanding and Destin was gorgeous! White sand beaches, warm water and a beautiful property with lots of amenities! Our unit needed a blender, but other than that-5 star!

The condo’s location was great. It was easy to find and close to everything. The cleanliness however was subpar. The floors had dust and dirt along all of the baseboards. The bedding was nice however we couldn’t find any extra pillow cases. It was a great get away for our family.

Fantastic getaway

This was a perfect place for a girl's weekend away. It's definitely in a more quiet neighborhood so if you're looking to party, this isn't it for you. We wanted to relax and it was ideal. Location to beach and pool was the best part. The view of the beach from our balcony was so nice to wake up to. Place was very clean and we had a minor issue with the code getting in and it was fixed within 5 minutes. It's located near so many restaurants and things to do. I can't say enough good things about this place! Highly recommend!

First time to Destin

Since I had never been to Destin, I was not sure about the area, property, or access to the beach. I was very pleased with condo even though there are a few maintenance items needed. Light bulbs are needed in the master bedroom and bathroom and the television in the master has tube issues after 30 minutes. I would recommend this property for location, cleanliness and access to the beach.

We loved the beach location

We had a great time. Our place was exceptionally clean! We were pleased with that. Kitchen was nice. Had everything we needed. A few things need updating though. The dryer takes hours to dry a load. The mattress in the first bedroom needs replacing. The toilet seat lid on the inside has urine stains all over it. Sliding glass door was hard to open. Living room tv had 5 remotes. It would help to have them marked to know what to use for what. A broom to help keep the sand at a minimum would be nice. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed Our stay.

Vacation review

The lighted tennis courts was not available, the office manager said they would be the file the second week we were there but they were not they had a fire alarm going off several hours during the night no one addressed it until my husband called the fire department. Also they began their cleanup for the fitness gym. So these are a couple of That we look forward to doing and did not get to in our unit. We asked if they had an agreement with any of the other facilities they said no

Thank you for your review, Elaine. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay despite experiencing a few issues. The fire system had a part that needed to be repaired. The fire alarm went off two nights in a row in December because of the defect. We have Advanced Fire Protection Services – the local staff and the Fire Department were called and there was no emergency. We had to wait for the part to be shipped just like everyone else that is experiencing supply line issues. It has since been repaired, weeks ago. The fitness center is under repair. It will not be open for another week until all the paint is touched up and dry. Our tennis courts have been undergoing a massive waterproofing repair project since last August. They had some staffing issues with the contractors, causing delays. We appreciate your comments and we hope to have an opportunity to host and impress you in the future.

Beautiful location..as described

Slight issue getting into condo, resolved reasonably quick. Condo as described. A few issues: 4 slice toaster/only two worked, washer leaked, dryer heated and tumbled but after two hours did not dry. Unfortunately we had washed two loads so hung both loads to dry on hangers all over condo. With four of us ended up Ubering to laundry mat. Last full day of rental "Halo" detected water leak and water supply shut off. Called rental agency but were out of water for few hours. Overall nice condo and location but somewhat disappointed in washer/dryer issue and cost of laundromat and water. Shutoo.

Not the worst, but not the best we’ve stayed in.

Our family loves Holiday Isle and Inlet Reef. We have stayed in many different units on this property. This unit is not the best we’ve stayed in but it’s not the worst either. This unit is managed by Vacasa. We like Vacasa. They are very easy to deal with and have a consistent quality. This unit has a decent view but the patio furniture was a joke. Like it was picked up for free on the side of the rode. The main TV was also sub par. The master bed was nice but my daughter who slept in the twin mattress complained about the mattress the whole trip. The kitchen supplies were terrible. Like they went to goodwill and bought a few things. The dishwasher smelled and there was no lid for the main trash can in the kitchen. However I would say the price is right for the quality of the unit and again Vacasa is very easy to deal with.

Never rent through Vacasa-Rent at your on risk

The property and location was fine. All else was awful and that rests solely on Vacasa’s shoulders. The condo was nasty/dirty. They barely cleaned anything. Toilets were filthy, there was hair in the bed, etc. so much more. Communication with Vacasa management was terrible. Mgmt lied to us by saying had not had time to clean the facility. It was obvious they did. They even left a large keychain with all the master keys to other condos on the kitchen counter. I sat on hold for over 1 1/2 hours before I was able to speak with customer service. We will return to Destin/Sand Destin but we will do our best to never rent anything that involves Vacasa.
