Der Golfblick # 204 wurde von Decken zu Fußböden aktualisiert. Granit und Edelstahl in der Küche. Fliesen in allen öffentlichen Bereichen mit Schlafzimmer mit Teppichboden. Neuer Granit-Waschtisch und U-Bahn-Fliesen im zweiten Bad. Neuer Granit und begehbare Dusche im Master-Bad. Plantagenläden an allen Fenstern. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen neuen 55-Zoll-Smart-TV und einen DVD-Player mit einem eigenen Balkon, der ideal gelegen ist, um sowohl den Ozean als auch den Pool / Whirlpool zu sehen. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über eine ausziehbare Couch. Das 2 Zweibettzimmer mit neuen Betten und Möbeln verfügt über einen 45-Zoll-TV und einen DVD-Player. Der König Meister hat auch neue Möbel und Betten mit einem weiteren 32 "TV / DVD-Player und herrlichem Blick auf den Golf. Die Lage im zweiten Stock bietet einen einfachen Zugang und kein Warten auf Aufzüge.

Excellent condo!

Unit 204 was very clean and nicely decorated. We had a wonderful stay. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Spring Break stay

The property is just lovely for families. A very short walk to the beach, with chairs/umbrella included. Staff was very helpful. With options between heated pools and beach, our primary concern was with deciding where to spend the day. Would definitely stay again.

Nice Place but musty

The property and location was great . The staff helpful and easy access to everything. The unit was clean but it smelled very musty, seems as if a dehumidifier might be in order.

Beautiful walk-in shower in the LARGE master bathroom. The beach was just a short walk from the condo. Large balcony was big enough for a layout chair and table with chairs. This cabin was in a GREAT location, surrounded by so many good restaurants and shops.

Always enjoy our stay at the Islander

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in the same unit the previous year and really liked it. Was a bit disappointed that the dishwasher was not working during the entire stay and the sleeper sofa was also broke or not functioning correctly. But in general, we are always pleased with the Islander and the facilities. Despite the recent issues, we would and do recommend the Islander to anyone interested in traveling to Destin. This is our 8th or 9th time staying at the Islander.

WONDERFUL STAY!!!

This was our first time visiting Destin. I always get nervous going to a new place because you aren’t sure of the area or if the room is as good as it looks. I can honestly say the room was exactly as described!! The kitchen has everything you could need and more! I noticed this unit also had a washer and dryer while some of the others I looked at didn’t. We didn’t end up using it, but what a nice plus to have available! I loved how conveniently located the pool was to the room. My kids loved it and most of the time had it all to theirselves. The beach was a short walk away and it was so nice to have the beach chairs included with our stay. We will definitely be back!

We Enjoyed The Islander

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at The Islander. The location was great. The views from the room were outstanding. The proximity to groceries and restaurants is great.We received great communication leading up to and throughout our stay.The unit we rented was well equipped and had everything we needed to enjoy our week at the beach.We made great use of the pickleball and tennis courts. The front-desk staff was very helpful in providing gear for us to use. Our son was also pleasantly surprised to find out they had skim boards to borrow as well!We really enjoyed having chairs and an umbrella to enjoy the beach as well. Alan was a great attendant who got everything setup and taken down and came through to check on the guests frequently.While it didn't impact our stay that much, I did remove one star for general condition for a few little things that weren't functioning. The front gate to the resort from the road was propped open due to issues. This made it more convenient to come and go, but could be an issue for security. To be clear, we never felt unsafe. Also, the gate to the beach was malfunctioning on our last day, but the front desk staff, again, was very helpful in assisting.These little items would not prevent us from coming back or recommending this to others.

Convenient and clean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This particular condo was very clean, updated and was perfect from a loading/unloading. It is high enough to see the ocean, pool, hot tub. The 4th floor and it’s closeness to the steps was convenient for the grocery trips. This condo was more updated than some of the other ones that our friends stayed in. We loved finding the board games and cards that were equipped in the condo. If there was one thing we could use more of, it was storage containers or at least bigger bowls. I did lots of cooking for dinner versus going out so I didn’t have much to use for leftovers. Overall, the stay was great and would recommend it to anyone. As for the property management, or front desk, their could have been better communication. The contract says check in is 3pm. We arrived at 3pm and were told that it could be up to 5pm before we got into our condo. The communication is misleading and should be more spelled out to guests. The policy is that you are charged immediately after 10am checkout. I think that if check in is this late, then you shouldn’t have to pay full price for that day/night.

The rental confirmation that was sent to you states: Check in time is after 3:00 pm. Due to our high standards of cleanliness, not all units may be ready for check in promptly at 3:00 pm but we guarantee it will be ready before 5:00 pm. We ask for your patience and recommend you have alternate plans in the event your unit is not ready at 3 pm. You are welcome to use the pools or go to the beach while you wait. With regards to departure time, we show that you checked out at 7:55 am. Did you request a late departure with the Front Desk? Your unit was not rented for the next night, so we would have allowed a noon departure free of charge. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. We hope you choose the Islander again for your next vacation. Thank you!

Relaxing stay for our summer getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was July 15-19 (Monday evening to Friday morning). We drove down from Ohio and stayed in Nashville on our way down and back.Unit 204 is very comfortable. Our 4 year old son loved having his own room making this condo a win over a typical hotel room. The pool was very relaxing. The painting event for kids was a hit. Overall, we enjoyed our entire vacation. If there was anything I would have wanted to change, it would be that some of the guests raced to the beach first thing in the morning to claim every chair in the first row, then rearranged the chairs into a circle so they could plant a giant flag pole in the middle and display political flags for the entire beach. They then went back to their room and didn't use their chairs for the entire morning. We setup a blanket in front of them and relaxed, so we enjoyed our front row seat to the gulf.This unit was the perfect getaway. Easy to access by the stairs or the elevator. Next time we come down, we will try to get this unit again.Just some tips for future renters, there is literally nothing in the unit for kitchen consumables. We rented a rural cabin once and it had seasonings and cooking spray in the kitchen. These have NONE of that, so either bring it with you or be prepared to go shopping. Target is reasonably priced; Winn-Dixie is very expensive.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What is with the seating at the beach? I can accept the horseshoe but the other guests don’t feel it applies to them. Other guests just sat in front of us, loud music as if they were the only people on the beach! We paid to have a relaxing time on the water front. If I wanted what we got I could have stayed at a motel 6 and gone to the public beach for a lot less. We asked the person on duty and he was as uncomfortable as we were. He is not the police and neither are we. Other guests had glass bottles (Corona) on the beach just walking around with it not even trying to be discreet. The living room furniture needs help. When we sat on the sofa we sank in a foot. I’m 55 years old with both knees replaced. My husband had to help pull me up off the sofa. We had to stuff pillows and blankets underneath the cushions so we would not sink in so far. I had been a regular guests since 1996 until 2006. I trusted that it would be the same when we came now. I’m really disappointed that it was not the same quality and the seating on the beach is a joke! I don’t feel we got what we paid for this time.
