Perfect family destination

Was a long overdue family holiday, a bit out of town but the set up of the Villa lends itself to lots of opportunity to enjoy staying in - Hilary was super accommodating

Perfect

Hilary was fabulous and the property was perfect. Clean and well equipped, perfect for family's or big groups. Nothing much in walking distance but the house is so lovely that you wouldn't want to leave anyway. Honestly could not fault it and will definitely be going back!

Lovely time spent in a lovely villa

Hilary was so helpful from booking to leaving. Nothing was a problem. We were a party of 14 and the villa was a brilliant size with lots to cater for all our needs including the children. It was safe and child friendly. Location was good but transportation is required to get about. Hilary was on hand throughout stay to organise taxi for us. Would definitely stay again.

A Dream Stay in Busot

Our stay at this stunning mansion was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and tranquility of the property. The house itself is spacious and elegant.The outdoor space was a true highlight—a beautiful pool, and several cozy spots to relax. Whether we were enjoying morning coffee on the terrace or a sunset dinner under the stars, the atmosphere was perfect.The location is ideal: private and peaceful, a very nice place to relax after a beach day. Communication with the host was seamless—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout.We’ve stayed in many holiday homes, but this one truly stood out. It felt more like a private retreat than just a place to sleep. We’re already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommended!

Adults, teenagers, primary school, home for all the family

Nice place to stay for all the family. Some parts a little dated. Lots of space inside and out. Great facilities for the younger members, and adults, crazy golf, sandpit, play area, trampolines, play vehicles and lots more. Terrific size pool with plenty of sunloungers. Hilary was a great host and organised all our transport whilst on vacation as we opted for a mini bus due to numbers. Alicante and Benidorm can be reached via the tram at El Campello. Would we stay again, definitely yes. Forgot to mention, ice cold beer on tap, what more could you want.

Great wedding holiday

We had a great time at Hilary's villa. We went there with our whole family to get married. Hilary was always there when we needed her and she made a marvelous tapas diner at our wedding day. In the villa there was everything you need for adults and children. A great swimming pool with playground and miniture golf course gave a lot of fun and enjoyment. We recommend this place to everyone who wants a nice holiday with everything you could possibly need....last but not least...the beer-tap was the finishing touch.

A great villa, in Busot.

We were 16 friends going to Alicante for a short after season vacation. We had a great time in the villa, with everything we could need. The host Hilary was nice, and helpfull. The only problem, and a big one for us, is that Vrbo’s site does not show the right location. Instead of being in El campello, it is outside of Busot. That is a 15 minute longer drive away from the beach.

VILLA ABBY

The property was as described. it is plenty big enough and has space to spread out. The manager/owner Hilary was helpful, when we had issues. she helped with airport transport and we used the same company for group days out. the pool needed attention a few times and this was dealt with. Power with all bedroom aircon on was hit and miss, but this is typical in Spain. some updating could be beneficial. The location is not the address on the VRBO website. it claims to be in El Campello, but is actually in the mountains at Busot some 18 KMS away. A car is needed. Overall we had a good stay and enjoyed the facilities.

Like a country retreat, Communication with Hilary was excellent right from the first enquiry. Check- in 10/10This included information about the villa and loads of useful local information.Facilities 10/10All you need are your clothes and personal items as everything else is catered for.The villaInside 10/10 Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Outside10/10The pool is exceptional, the grounds are fantastic (mini golf,kids play area,trampoline ,a small area for.a mimi kick about with the little ones and plenty of parking.The views are stunning over the valley and down to the sea and the views from the upstais balcony are unbelievable. I would suggest a car as the villa is in a rural setting, but the setting is definitely worth a bit of driving. There was 10 of us ( 3 generations from 60 down to 1)and we all loved it. You could easily double that and still have plenty of room.This villa is more of a retreat to relax and enjoy each others company.But if you want to venture out there is plenty to see and do in what is a stunning part of spain.All in all i would recommend this villa to anyone 100%, as i said you can stay at the villa and relax or venture out in a great part of Spain.Hilary is a perfect host 10/10.Villa is definitely 10/10.Thankyou.

Family of 17 go to El Campello

Our family of 17 people ( youngest aged 4, oldest aged 97) spent six days at the Villa over the Easter period. The Villa is simply superb and fully adapted to the needs of a very varied group including eight grandchildren for whom the huge pool, and great range of leisure activities, kept them excited and fully energised. We were able to adapt the range of beds and rooms to suit our party ( this was very easy indeed) and Hilary was a great host and readily on hand for help and information. We prebooked a cask of draught beer (great value) and a tapas meal on the last evening which was a highlight of our stay. We had four hire cars for our group which made for easy access to the lovely coastal fishing town of El Campello (little more than ten minutes drive to the beach, marina, shops, bars and restaurants, all very family orientated) and to local resorts and inland towns such as Alicante, Elche and Valencia. Hilary's Villa is a great holiday venue for larger groups, personably managed, excellently equipped, and brilliantly situated whether for chilled out relaxation, hiking or cycling in the surrounding hills , beach and nightlife or bags of history, culture and shopping in the nearby towns. Thanks, Hilary, for a wonderful experience and a great value holiday . Richard.

Vi har haft en underbar semester med barn och barnbarn i detta fantastiska hus. Det är ett perfekt boende för en familj med många barn.Beskrivningen av husets läge i Vrbo stämmer inte. Huset är beläget i ett lugnt villaområde. Man måste ha bil för att ta sig till affärer, restauranger, badstrand.Hilary och hennes familj är seviceminded, trevliga och gjorde allt för att vi skulle trivas.Vi kommer att återkomma till detta boende. Vi har många fina semesterminnen från dessa dagar.

La casa está bastante bien pero en una urbanización muy retirada de la playa.Los vecinos llamaron a la policía a las 9 y media de la tarde porque estamos haciendo una gymkana con los niños y supuestamente no se puede hacer ruido a partir de las 10 de la noche.La señora muy amable pero bastante inflexible con los horarios.Quisimos irnos antes para no coger atasco y nos dijo que no podía venir y que nos teníamos que quedar hasta que ella viese la casa .

En contestacion al comentario, decir que la casa esta a 8kms de la playa. Informar tambien que los vecinos no llamaron a la policia. Los vecinos llamaron a la dueña de la casa. La policia estaba patrullando por la zona y debido al ruido extremo se acercaron a la casa. Respecto al comentario sobre la inflexibilidad de la señora, decir que es totalmente incierto. El horario de entrada es a las 16.00 horas y el horario de salida es las 10.00 horas. Este grupo pidio el favor de entrar a las 12.00 y salir a las 12.00 h. Lo cual se les permitio permaneciendo 6 horas mas en el domicilio sin ningun coste adicional pero el mismo dia de salida el grupo queria irse antes y no era posible porque no habia previo aviso y ya hemos cambiado el horario para ellos.

Buen alojamiento para viaje con familia o amigos

La casa esta totalmente equipada, tiene paelleros, 3 barbacoas (2 leña y una de gas), grifo de cerveza. Multples juegos para jugar entre amigos ( minigolf, villar, juegos de mesa), la experiencia global a sido genial, por poner una pega, la ubicacion en verbo es erronea, sale que esta en campello y realmente esta en una urbanización mas arriba de Busot ( a +-10min en coche de la playa de Campello). El trato con la anfitriona ha sido genial, nos ha dado indicaciones y facilitado los desplazamientos con una empresa local.

Séjour mai 2024

Nous avons séjourné à 16 dans cette villa tout confort. Nombreuses chambres, salles de bain, grand salon, très grande piscine. Les espaces jeux permettent de passer de bons moments (mini golf, but de foot). Le gros plus sont la possibilité davoir les courses faites à votre arrivée, la mise en place de futs sur la tireuse et surtout les très bons repas préparés par Hilary la propriétaire. Nous avons pris le brunch et la paëlla, un vrai regal ! Attention la villa est excentrée il faut une voiture. Mais si vous n'en avez pas comme nous il est possible d'avoir des navettes à notre disposition pendant tout le séjour de jour comme de nuit. Un vrai luxe. Une adresse vraiment à conserver pour de futurs sejours. Merci pour votre gentillesse Hilary !!!

Una estancia genial

Pasamos unos días fantásticos entre amigos, la casa está totalmente equipada para grupos. La zona es muy tranquila y está cerca de la playa. Una anfitriona maravillosa, ella misma nos gestionó servicios complementarios como alquiler de transporte, catering. Fue muy amable y atendió todas muestras peticiones. Seguro que volveremos¡¡¡

Super Villa and really well looked after

Just a quick review of Villa Abby. We've stayed in quite a few villas as a large family group over the years and I feel the whole group agreed it was the best villa we stayed in. The amenities in the villa are 2nd to none - so much to do all day every day. The crazy golf created craic for everyone and at night we could play pool etc. The young and old kids loved it and the pool is excellent. There is nothing I could find fault with regarding the actual villa itself. The only downside is the location, it's a 15 minute drive outside of el campello near Busot. This is fine if you have a car and don't have an alcoholic drink etc when you are out and about etc. The good news is there is a minibus you can call to drop you in to town and collect you. Only once during the whole it could not collect us as it was booked, so we got taxis. So really, the only issue was the extra cost for travel in and out of town etc. VRBO website does not show the exact location. The Bus did airport return and a return to Benidorm for us. All reasonably priced when you divide the cost up among the family. But I must stress, if you just factor that in, you will not be disappointed with the Villa. Hilary is totally sound, great offers on food and a great host. We hoped to avail of the tapas but we had to made new arrangements as we met friends. El Campello is a stunning little town and Villa Abby is a great place to base yourself to explore the area

An ideal relaxing break

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Abby in May 2022. Hilary and her fabulous family are so prepared for any eventuality and are willing to do anything to make your stay more comfortable. No request was too much! Hilary was able to offer pre-arrival shopping, a catering service, she organised all of our taxis and transfers and was on hand to help with any issues we had, no matter how big or small. Everyone we met from Hilary's family were helpful, kind and friendly. I simply cannot recommend the services they provide enough. The villa is very well equipped for very large groups of people to stay, so is ideal for a large family or a big group of friends. The TV was out of action when we were staying there, I'm sure this has likely been fixed since we left - this was only an issue for us as our two year old great nephew missed his cartoons very much in the evenings. The only disappointment with the villa was that the location is much further out than the pin drop on VRBO. There is nothing within walking distance from the villa and we were not prepared for this (so did not think to hire a car), this meant that we did have to hire taxis to get around. However , as aforementioned - Hilary and Victoria were super stars in arranging these taxis for us and even on a couple of occasions drove us to the supermarket and the local bar as a favour! Really, really cannot fault their service! All in all, we had a fantastic holiday at Villa Abby and would be more than happy to stay again!

Puente en Bussot

Henos estado un grupo de 6 familias, con 10 niños entre los 3 y los 10 años. La casa es perfecta para ese plan. Las habitaciones de la planta de arriba son perfectas. Las de abajo, muy bien para que los niños puedan estar juntos y disfrutar. La casa cuenta con un montón de opciones para que se diviertan los peques, y bien equipada para los adultos, con dos barbacoas ( más una de gas), opción de grifo de cerveza...y claro, la piscina, con un tamaño adecuado para estos grupos. Tanto dentro de la casa como en la terraza hay espacio y mesas suficientes para poder comer juntos. Por la zona hay múltiples planes para hacer excursiones, y playa cerca. Esperamos poder volver
