Unser komplett ausgestattetes Apartment im Erdgeschoss, dessen Patio sich auf die Gärten öffnet, befindet sich in fünf Morgen tropischer Herrlichkeit und besitzt sein eigenes Süßwasser - Schwimmbad mit Kinderbereich und Chinesischem Restaurant und Bar direkt am Schwimmbad. In nur Gehweite gelegen des wunderschönem weißen Sandes und türkisem Wasser mit einem Reichtum an Wassersport, Restaurants und Bajan Kultur. Nahebei befinden sich die Banken, ein Einkaufszentrum, zollfreie- und Spezialgeschäfte, einschließlich eines Supermarkts für all Ihre Bedürfnisse. Gelegen innerhalb einfacher Erreichbarkeit, um jegliche Perspektiven der Insel kennen zu lernen und zu erkunden. Reguläre Busse, Taxen und Autovermietung befinden sich Minuten des Apartments entfernt.

Orte zu besichtigen: Falls Sie sich etwas spendieren möchten, so gibt es zahlreiche Gourmetrestaurants in der Gegend. Ebenso gibt es viele erschwingliche Restaurants wie 'Chefette', Pizzerias und viele zum Mitnehmen. Der Strand befindet sich einen kurzen Bummel des Komplexes entfernt. Zum Norden und Süden von Golden Views liegt der Strand Paynes und Mullins, bekannt als der beste Strand von Barbados. Zwei der renommiertesten Golfplätze, The Royal Westmoreland und ein Sandweg befinden sich praktisch vor der Haustür. Mit Glück begegnet man einen der vielen berühmten Gesichter! Im Binnenland, von Golden Views aus, können Sie die einzigartigen Harrison Höhlen besichtigen, die erst kürzlich entdeckt wurden. Die wunderschönen botanischen Gärten und Affenpark sind ebenfalls ein Muss. Weiter entlang der zerklüfteten Ostküste, ist das Gelände nur für Spaziergänge geschaffen, um diese Herrlichkeit wahrzunehmen.

The host was always available and helpful. The condo met most of our needs. Nice patio and pool. Would be good to have a bbq. Didn’t always have enough hot water for shower or dishes. Hard to get it set right. Too hot or too cold. The place needs to be cleaned out and organized in cabinets. Old stuff in the kitchen, bedroom and so much of the same. More comfortable couch would be nice. We did enjoy our time in Holetown and the golf course nearby is great for walking!

Comfortable condo

Stayed here twice, different units, and really enjoyed the building, pool (especially as red flags out on the beaches due to rough sea), garden, loungers, security, laundry. The gardens an pool area at the rear are beautiful

Golden view is a beautiful unbeatable location the apartment has everything you need for a stress free holiday beautiful pool and only 2400 steps return walk from the white golden Sandy beach! Nearby walk is Massi supermarket where you can get anything you may need

We had a wonderful time in the apartment and it was nicely located near Holetown and walking distance to many nice restaurants. Great "homebase" for a couple of weeks in Barbados! Tina, the representative on the island, was wonderful and gave us so many great ideas for things to do around the island.

Welll equipped and very clean accommodation

Golden view apartments are not luxury accommodation. However the location is great , the pool is lovely, gardens are beautiful and well maintained and you can always get a sun lounger. As most are privately owned guests are respectful of the property , do not hog sun beds and do make lots of noise. This apartment on the ground floor is very clean with comfortable beds , nice patio area with comfortable seating. Well equipped with towels , beach towels, cooler bags ,shopping trolley for the supermarket ( which is a 10 minute walk) and is in a great location for the beach and restaurants in Holetown . We loved Calma beach club (just a short walk to the right of Surfside ) , Tuesday night at Carizma is fantastic- live music and great food and we also enjoyed lovely meals at Nishi and the Beach House .

Lovely apartment in a great location

Golden View is a great location, easy walk to several beaches, grocery store, golf courses and fish market. The apartment has 2 single beds, pushed together if needed. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for cooking, full size stove and fridge. Beach towels are provided along with housekeeping once a week. And a large pool where residents gather every afternoon. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet get away, definitely not a party place! Very relaxing!

Hot weather

Two weeks of hot weather. We really appreciated the airconditioner. The condo was clean and well stocked. We had to walk for groceries. We would have preferred to know about the shortcut to the grocery store. Found the cart with wheels second week which helped. We found there was not a lot to do in the area.

Like the place

But there was one and a big problem, I had no street address for the place we were coming.I was trying to contact the manager several time with the question of exact address which I didn't get respond from, and when we get to SUNSET CREST the driver told us that the sunset crest is the area not the specific address, thank God I had a picture of the place otherwise I don't know where we would stay since I didn't had accurate address yet I send an email twice without respond and there is no phone number was giving us in the case we would get lost from the airport. Otherwise the place was very nice and confutable.

Hi Alexander, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry about the confusion, I'm not too sure what went wrong there. I too had trouble getting in contact with you before your arrival. I had responded to your message regarding how best to get to the apartment from the airport and had requested you filled out an arrival form (this was all on the Vrbo platform) And received no response or email from yourself - I have just checked our spam box to make sure nothing got lost in there. Our email address is actually the name of the building and Vrbo should of given you the building name on your booking confirmation as address. I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay nevertheless and will look into the communication issues with the platform.

Good apartment in great location

First stayed in Jan-Feb 2022 This ground floor apartment with original features is homely and comfortable and very well equipped. There is one bedroom with en-suite, kitchen, lounge and dining area. There is ample wardrobe storage space and a safe. There are some lovely paintings around the property of local scenes, possibly painted by one of the family. There is a pretty patio/balcony with comfortable furniture which overlooks the gardens. For me, I would like the shrubbery in front of the patio to be reduced in height in order to see the gardens. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained and the whole complex is peaceful and quiet, ideal for older guests. The pool is a good size and provides plenty of sun loungers. There is also a popular Chinese restaurant on site. They say it’s the little things that make a difference and you’ll find lots of these. The beaches, bus stops and supermarket are all an easy walk away as are shops and restaurants. The apartment does not have its own wi-fi but this is freely available in the lobby and ‘library’. The owner Kate is kind, generous and very responsive to questions and queries, a delight to deal with. Feb 2023 The apartment is in a great location for easy access to beaches, shops and the supermarket Massey. The surrounding gardens and pool are very well maintained, though a little noisy on grass cutting day! This was our second stay here and feel that it really needs its own wi-fi. The community wi-fi was very difficult to connect to and not reliable. Also, the shower was a bit intimidating. It can take a while for the hot water to come through, then occasionally it’s not very hot and other times it is scalding. Be careful.

Bring your earplugs!

We stayed in this unit for two weeks. It was okay but there were a few things that could make it a better stay. The owners aren’t close by and things are not being maintained. The entire apartment needs a good deep clean, not just surface cleaned between bookings. We found a greasy dirty cookie sheet in the oven from the last guests and what looked like dried spaghetti sauce all over the Venetian blinds on the patio. When we arrived, there wasn’t even a bar of soap in the bathroom. One roll of toilet paper. Most rentals have a welcome package of a few items to get you started. This place was bare bones at best. The shower drain was clogged and we were standing in 3-4 inches of water. They did send someone to fix it, however that took two days. The fan in the bedroom has only one speed…Ultra fast which is very noisy for sleeping. A new fan is definitely needed. The way the units are set up, your neighbours bathroom is right next to your bathroom and bedroom. We were unlucky enough to have extremely loud neighbours who kept us awake a good portion of the night with gross hacking sounds. And being on the ground floor the taxis would fly by your bedroom window at all hours. People walking down the hall at midnight were loud even though it’s supposed to be quiet after a certain hour. The front desk staff do nothing to keep people quiet or keep the taxis from speeding into the parking lot. I used earplugs the entire time and it barely helped. There is no wifi in this apartment either which was not handy at all. The wifi in the lobby doesn’t work very well and was a pain every time you wanted to use the Internet. I was not able to send emails the entire trip no matter what wifi network I tried in the building. There is also no screen on the sliding door so you had to keep it closed so mosquitoes didn’t get in. We loved Goldenview itself, but would rent a different unit next time.

The Goldenview condominium is a very well-run building with friendly, helpful staff and is located close to shops, the Massy grocery store and the beach. The pool at the Goldenview is quite large and very well-maintained. The host was very responsive when we contacted him regarding a couple of issues we had. The unit itself is very clean and well-equipped with everything you need. However, it is in need of updating; the kitchen is original, some of the lights are not working and it could use a paint job. There is wifi in the front lobby, but there was no wifi in the unit itself. This proved to be fairly inconvenient and we ended up spending money buying extra data. Overall, the experience was good.

Excellent location

This is my third stay at Golden View condos, first at this apartment. Ground floor with a covered table and chairs in the garden right outside the patio. Very convenient as wifi is only available outside. Apartment was very well equipped with everything you would need, kitchen had full size stove which is unusual for Barbados. Twin beds also a bonus with air conditioning in bedroom that was appreciated at night since it was very hot and humid during our stay. Monkeys came to garden most afternoons, lovely! Pool is terrific and although it was quiet when we were there, we met lovely people who we hope to see again! No issues with covid rules, masks worn in all public places including corridors and to and from pool. An excellent stay!

Amazing Holiday

On arrival, we were very impressed with the apartment - it seemed perfect for us, ground floor, lovely pool, everything we needed (and more!) provided in the accommodation, and the staff were very efficient. Sunset Crest is in a great location for the beach, local bars, restaurants and other amenities. HOWEVER, the first 2 weeks were spoiled by the extensive refurbishment program involving unbelievably noisy machinery. Our plan was to relax by the pool after my wife's multiple orthopaedic surgery, but we had to decamp almost every day to escape the noise. It was also disconcerting to see the receptionist wearing a dust mask! We feel we should have been notified of this. One of the residents informed us that the works had started in June. The works had decreased by week 3 and became tolerable. Notwithstanding this, we loved the island, the apartment itself and the Bajan people,and would love to return at a time when we could enjoy the facilities a bit more.

Beautiful well kept property

We enjoyed our stay in Barbados. The property was clean and very adequate with all the necessities. One thing to note, the add says there is Wifi. Technically there is, if you want to sit in the Lobby to use it.

Lovely relaxing apartment

The apartment had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and was a short walk to supermarket, beach and restaurants. Nice pool with more than enough sunbeds and lovely on site Chinese restaurant with good quality and quantity food.
